From the moment I joined the team, it was clear that they prioritize finding new and effective ways to enhance the lives of their clients. Their commitment to employing cutting-edge strategies and evidence-based practices truly sets them apart in the field.

Acclaim dangled many perks at sign on, including great company culture and support. In reality, they were struggling to keep staff due to long hours and a lack of support of R/BT’s. They would host “company events” that were scheduled at times where no one could attend besides a few supervisors. The scheduling department only took into account billable hours and ignored things like drive time, in addition to being virtually unreachable. This meant that a day with 9 billable hours ended up being 12 to 14 hour day. On top of all of this, the “HR Department” consisted of the CEO and an onboarding coordinator. The BCBA’s were great and tried to make it work, but a lot of them seemed burnt out by a company who just doesn’t take care of their employees while the CEO takes a few zoom meetings from his house. 

I have been a Clinician here at Acclaim for almost 3 years now. I was part of the very first Supervisors with very few R/BT's. From the start, I received a harm welcome from the CEO and co founder. I received intensive training and much needed Clinical guidance. As an R/BT, the supervisors provides you with all necessary materials, support, guidance needed to do your job and be the best at it.  As an RBT you can get promoted to a full time RBT and receive a salaried type of pay with guaranteed work hours. 

The work place culture is great! the employees are very diverse. 

The most i enjoy about my job is the support i receive from my supervisors and the CEO. They are very understanding about my circumstances and does their possible best to accommodate my needs.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Acclaim Autism offers great PTO, easy application for time off, flexible if you need days off/to leave early/come in later. Most staff are supportive, however, not all. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The clinical staff doesn't like to coordinate with the operational staff. They talk behind your back and try their best to get you into trouble instead of offering help towards you providing better work. Supervisory staff  allow them to talk behind your back without repercussions. There is also little work life balance. You're expected to always answer emails or the phone when you're not online. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There is a lot of favoritism and only those they don't appreciate get reprimanded.

You get offered very consistent hours at Acclaim and you are given the opportunity to makeup hours when schedules change. I am often offered extra shifts as well, which is nice (they're fine if you say "no"). The pay is good and I get benefits as well. I have had training paid for (I did PEC's), and am going to be attending a conference that is also paid for by work. There are opportunities for advancement and they keep growing so that will continue I'm sure. There is also mentorship available, my managers are really good and care a lot about me, clients and the work in general. 


I first interned at Acclaim and it was my first time interning at a startup. I learned so much, but with my being there and pitching new ideas I found myself being limited sometimes in what I could do because I would run into a problem the company itself never had to navigate through before. It was an interesting place to be in when higher ups were just as stumped as me in some instances. It was great for learning how to collaborate and communicate with the C-suite directly, but it also slowed me down when I wouldn't be able to get access to something quickly to further my results.

Although relatively new, this company cares about the voices of its employees. They ensure that everyone knows or is made aware of those they work with, whether on the frontlines or behind the scenes. Plenty of room for growth but that only sometimes means consistent or better pay. The benefit packages they offer is extremely high to where some may use the same check they worked for to pay for themselves and their family. In all my years of working I have never endured a supporting environment such as thing.

Acclaim has exposed me to a variety of technical fields and an opportunity to pursue my interests at the company. My managers have been understanding of my busy schedule to ensure a healthy work-life balance. Acclaim has been a very exciting company to work at, as they are growing at a rapid pace, but their original vision of supporting children with Autism has not deteriorated.

Acclaim is a professional workplace that holds employees to high expectations. Acclaim focuses on providing high-quality care to clients, and the leadership team constantly keeps an open line of communication. 

Acclaim Autism has wonderful staff. My experience at this company has been enjoyable and rewarding in the field. I have felt supported in my position since day one! Requests and feedback from staff on every level is always welcomed and respected. I continue to learn and grow daily!
