This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for! I worked with them for nearly 3 years and stayed with the hope that things would eventually get better. What a joke! I dont even know where to begin! 

They state there is an open door policy with no fear of retaliation.  This is not true at all. If you have any complaints or concerns, all of a sudden the shifts that were once available to you, no longer exist (but only to you, bc they are booking other nurses who happen to be your friends). So when you ask about that, the regional manager and staffing coordinator will 3 way call you to yell at you and tell you that you arent allowed to discuss your schedule with anyone else. Which I have never heard of in my life. They are notorious for 3 way conference calls as a way to intimidate and bully staff and facility staff into doing what they want. It is horrible. They basically gang up on you to tell you how wrong you are and neither of them listen nor care about anything you have to say. They only hear what they want and jump to their own conclusions regardless of how many times you explain a situation. There is no support for staff situations either. 

They have lied so many times it is unbelievable! I was ask to pick up at a facility and when I said I was already scheduled I was told by the staffing coordinator that my shift was canceled and asked to pick up the shift available.  I said no bc I dont care for that facility and in the meantime another facility had called and requested me to work and I said I would pick up that shift. The staffing coordinator wrote in her report that I had canceled my shift and booked myself somewhere else! This prompted another conference call to which I was ripped apart and had to send screenshots to prove that I was not the one lying. It was ridiculous! Another time, there was an incident with another Accountable nurse who happened to write a complaint in regards to me for trying to help her and bc of her incompetence it just so happened she was DNRd from the facility we were at the same day by the DON. I was blamed for supposedly getting her DNRd and they told me the facility said they didn't want me there bc I was too much drama and I cause too many problems. Which they also told another Accountable nurse who happened to be my friend ,who In turn told me what they said. They also didnt know that I was friends with the person they said supposedly told them the facility didnt want me back and it was never said. They fabricate complaints and things in order to justify their own agenda. I have never seen anything like it. 

There is no recourse or anyone to talk to, the regional manager has been friends with the staffing coordinator for "18 years" according to her and the Staffing coordinator  will be the downfall of the company in this area. Her reputation follows her everywhere. She is well known among agency staff for being vindictive, spiteful,  and just down right nasty. She seems great at first and she will book you all you want when you first sign up but the first time you do something she doesnt like, watch out. No matter what facility you go to, they all talk about her; nurses, cnas, and facility employees.  No one wants to deal with her. And you cant talk to the regional manager about it bc she justifies and sticks up for EVERYTHING the staffing  coordinator does, right or wrong. I could go on and on with stories like this. Just do yourself a favor and stay clear. No money is worth dealing with the stress and added headache these two bring on.

They also dont have very many facilities to send staff to like they did when I first started working for them. They have a contract with one facility and that is about the only place they ever really send orders for anymore. There are a few others but in talking with the facility staff directly, most say they dont use Accountable unless absolutely desperate bc they dont want to deal with Teresa. That is really sad. 

Accountable's corporate office really needs to pay closer attention to what is going on in this area bc their reputation of being a good and reliable agency is being over shadowed by these 2 ladies running this office and until something drastic changes, they will continue to lose really great staff bc of the games they play. 

The only thing good in that office is HR! He is a saint. He has always been very prompt in handling any situation needing his attention. He is very kind and I cant say enough good things about him.

I would only recommend this company if you have cleared your credentials because they are clueless about the needs of CA teachers, and wonder if that is the case for the other positions for which they hire. They even asked that I find out the necessary information and get back to them. The original contact was lovely with excellent communication skills. She was always checking in or available to answer any questions, but then she left the company, and it went downhill from there. Hopefully, they've hired someone to take her spot rather than using the manager for day to day communications. I'm not sure if they have knowledgeable employees to field any specific job questions but seems to be a problem with private companies, but the public school I was in was good about sharing their knowledge and the necessary job-related workshops without charging me or to my knowledge, AH.

From the beginning, it was unclear who I contacted for what, i.e., actual job questions and benefits questions as they seem to have a couple of employees handling both inquiries simultaneously. The last manager lacked empathy for my situation and did nothing to help my credential issue. I found out later from CTC that a teacher is not penalized for a lapse of credential,(aka you don't let the teacher go.) but the teacher needs to get into an induction program asap. It's a nightmare once you are out with an invalid credential trying to obtain a job when the university tells you, you must be employed to get into their induction program, and CTC says, you must be in an induction program to get your credential extended. They tell you to try with private or charter schools which the majority of them want a valid credential. It's a shame since there is such a shortage of sped teachers in CA and based on other job sources, many other states.

I worked here for 3 months and it was basically my in between job. I was looking for work the entire time I was here, I did not enjoy it. The training was pitiful and they have literally zero "real" training. The office is very laid back, but there is lots of favoritism going on in the office, which is a very small office in Addison, so it's obvious. There was a girl I will left unnamed that literally berated her assistant and was using cuss words. This same girl harassment me at work for my thinning hairline while we were in the elevator. I took it to my manager and HR. Of course they did nothing, they leave the load mouth girl there to continue working. Chad the main bossman there never took an interest in myself the three months I was there. Not a single personal question was asked from him, shows the type of person he is. He's not from Texas and it showed as bright as day. He hardly ever came in with an upbeat attitude, and when he tried to. It was him going around giving fist bumps to everyone. That was basically the only interaction I had with the guy, a very soft, lame fist bump. I would suggest anyone looking to start a career here, to look otherwise. Unless you absolutely need a job. 

As soon as my PTO hit, I took it all on the interviews I was going to. They knew that was the case and terminated me. I planned to quit the very next day anyhow because I had just accepted another offer. Thanks for the time AHS, but I will never miss it. Good riddance.

A typical day at work starts with get a bedside report from the out going RN, assessment and getting to know your patient, their concerns, immediate needs or concerns that needs to be addressed. Vital signs, review of lab results, orders, medications, procedures that needs to be carried out.
I have learned that when a patient is satisfied my job becomes easy.
Management wants an RN that is approved by the clients we serve and the only way you can work successfully is by treating the patients the way they want to be treated.(Right).
My co-workers have made nursing enjoyable and my job is easy and fun because we work as a team.
The hardest part of my job is when there are no answers to the health questions from our patients, when I have done everything within my power and the patient is not getting any improvements.
The most enjoyable part of my job is the smile I get from my patients from their satisfaction and when upon discharge they say" I am glad you were my nurse during my hospital stay or when I meet them outside the hospital probably in the store and they can boldly tell their family or friends, "this the nurse I was telling you about, she is so caring", that's the best part of my being a nurse.

  I have been working at Accountable Healthcare now for Almost one year.  This is truly a place where they see and harness an individual's potential strengths.  Within the first 6 months of working here I was given every tool possible and a tremendous amount of industry knowledge.  At first it seemed like a bit much as any new position I'm sure often does.  Once I had wrapped my head around the day to day activities I really began to enjoy the job and the growth was immediate.  I have been promoted twice already, my book of business has not only surprised my company,  but has taken me by surprise as well.  The few extra hours I put in a week were quickly noticed by the management, and on top of the Accolades I received they also made me an Account manager offering me the opportunity to run 6 of my own states.  Although the compliments are nice lets be honest,  we are all working so we can move up the ladder and make more money!  This company has given me both in a short amount of time and for that I consider this one of the many reasons Accountable is a great place to work!

My main problem with this company is their lack of loyalty and compassion to their employees. If any issues or problems arose related to miscommunication or problems at the facility you work for, you are on your own to deal with it and sort it out for yourself. I have also found it difficult to maintain continuity of contracts which I have never had with any other agency I have worked for.  Other companies usually began securing you another contract at least four weeks in advance of your current contract ending, but this company takes days to weeks to find you another contract after your current contract has ended. I have never felt more alone working for a company than I have with this one. Also, most agencies will give extension bonuses, new employee bonuses, contract completion bonuses but not this one. They only do referral bonuses which basically says if they can’t make more money off you then they aren’t going to give you extra incentives. Very selfish company. Very disappointed that I chose this company to work for out of the thousands of ones out there. Definitely time to move on.

Has not handled certain recent situations professionally.  Could have done a much better job in regards to this.

Typical day was not anything abnormal than what you would expect at any other school district, except at this particular district, it was a lot more stressful, with a bigger caseload and rules in particular to the district that I've never seen in other districts which created unnecessary larger caseload.Management liked to put their nose in the way we did our job - making us write goals a very particular way, which did not make sense, and created more work for us. 

These are complaints because of the District though - nothing on Accountable which was completely out of these types of decisions, and policies.

Co workers were amazing. Very easy to get along with and there for you when you needed them.

Enjoyable part of the job was working with the students.

A typical day at Accountable  was resume mining,,conducting interviews, doing background checks,scheduling drug testing,scheduling work assignments,processing payroll, doing employment orientation, and other duties as assigned. What I learned is that you can do as much as you are allotted time to do ,and win win situations are possible. Management could have offered more resolution to help build a strong team both internal and external. My co-workers were awesome as we all had the same goal that we wanted to reach. The hardest part of my job was watching members of the team give up because of lack of communication to management, I loved building positive relationships with internal and external clients. I love under promising and over delivering, when my team and clients are happy I am happy as well.

Overall Accountable is a great place to work. I am close to home and have flexibility to attend events for my children, appointments, meetings, etc.  I also have the ability to leave early or come in late depending on my circumstances. Management is fairly flexible and support that I have children and other responsibilities outside of work.
Our office in particular has had some major changes within the last year which caused the work environment and process to change but hopefully this year we can bounce back to be the office that we were in 2016 when I first started. I enjoy the culture and people that I work with as we work as a team for the most part and enjoy each other outside of work as well.  The most difficult is holiday time when I would have liked to take off for both Thanksgiving and Christmas but only had the choice to pick one due to our managers request.

The Recruiters are professional, experienced and outgoing.  They listen to the staff and always try to find the perfect job for each nurse, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of their nurses are happy and satisfied with the hospital they place them in.  
The Per-Diem team is always available; 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, to assist with day to day staffing needs in all of the hospitals in Washington state.  The Seattle office also has a Director of Clinical Services, who is an RN and will support the team if any problems arise in the facilities, or to help Mentor in anyway that may be needed.  The Seattle Accountable team are Top in the field and  stand by their word.  
The Accountable Corporate office is always a great support to all of the branches, and offers top benefits to all of the employees who work there.
