The company has a lot of opportunities for training and strengthening your skills which is great. The office is beautiful and equipped with a simulation lab for training similar to nursing school. There are plenty of cases, you won’t have to worry about getting hours. Some negatives is the locations of client, many not around the metro area which require long commutes. The schedulers can often be pests because they will call and call and ask you to work excess of 40 hours per week. There were many times that I asked to not be contacted about additional hours because I already worked 50 hours weekly for years with them and they’d still bug you anyway. I haven’t received a raise after three years and was told that I couldn’t because the cap LPN’s compensation. You have to work 2000 hours BEFORE you earn 40 hours of PTO so if you work 12 hour shifts, you basically have to work 9-10 months before you can get what is equivalent to 3 days off. Employee recognition is great, they offer referral incentives and the office staff is supportive and friendly. Anytime I’ve had to go to the office, I’ve felt appreciated. 
Management has your back, they care about their clients but you as well. This is a great place to learn and grow in your skill set but very little opportunity to advance if you’re a LPN. 

The day-to-day operations of the center is completely unorganized and chaotic, and  many times unsafe.  Director of nursing delegates, many task to other people without fully understanding or knowing how to complete said task which leads to confusion and mistakes in the events the normal person is unavailable. They are very quick to hire new people, but do very little training with them which leads to patient care mistakes.  Most incidences that deal with safety and patient care are swept under the rug or simply ignored. Management is barely at the center and when they are, it is usually behind closed doors with a do not disturb sign which limits the amount of communication to express concerns. They also make you sign paperwork that says you have received training before training was actually given. If you want a very chill and easy job with very little oversight, regulation or following of policies that this is the right job for you. If you actually care about patients and their safety and wish to provide a positive impact in their life, you will be frustrated working at this job

When you walk into our office, its mostly open with a few offices on either side...but the great part is that the communication flows along with the office layout....transparent and open.  We share ideas, our thoughts, the best way to move forward when an issue arises, collaboration is key!  I felt at home here by my third day...I have never experienced such a welcoming environment.  The gentle jokes kick in early though, they want everyone to feel at ease, so be ready!  
ACP is a company that is driven by patient care.  Our amazing nursing team, and the corporate team that supports them cares about what is best for our patients.  Working for ACP is always a double win, you gain an exciting career, but the real reward is the impact you make on someone's life...their smiles are enough to fix everything wrong in this sometimes crazy world.

The ideology behind ACP and the work they do is incredible and they reel you in with that. This works in their favor so you will receive less pay, almost like a non-profit and even feel "good" about it. All while certain higher-ups/Directors and above make so much more money than everyone else and the CEO walks around in Louis Vuittons and a overly expensive diamond ring.
This is the worst company I have ever worked for, in my 20 years of working within numerous companies. 
They insist on having a family culture, which means a dysfunctional family where everyone just does what "mother says" (the CEO) without any concern or care for what is best for the company, company goals or the employees.
The disparity among the way they preach their culture and how they actually treat their employees is night and day. 
Do not work here. They do not care about anything but money and ensuring their own personal gains.

I've been with ACP for over 1.5 yrs.The team, from CEO to clinical Supervisors goes above & beyond for you. They don't just say it, they do it. Recently, I visited the office for skills check and the CEO came to the class to thank us for our trust and commitment to ACPs mission. It was nice to hear from her where the company is going and the continuing investement they are putting into our training, I am proud to work for a company with genuine and caring leaders. ACP offered us vaccine and I gladly took it. Now I can work with my patients knowing that I am safe, and they are too. If you like homecare nursing, there is no other company like ACP. 


I’ve worked in quite a few different environments and I’ve never felt so supported or like a company truly is a family who cares for one another, as much as I do at ACP.
They go above and beyond to ensure you are as successful in your career as possible. I’ve grown so much with their free education, management style and their trust they have in me to be the expert in my position

You get no benefits what so ever with the company as a CNA. You get no raise. They max your pay at $12. In most cases you will be the only CNA working with a patient. No breaks. They want you to work all these hours but not willing to compensate some type of benefits or pay raise. They also require you to do vitals each shift and provide no tools to do so. Support coordinators try to insinuate abuse on your patient constantly. They tell the client family one thing and turn around and tell you another. 

A Nurse from this company gets work based on whether or not the DON and coordinator like you. It is not based on your skills and knowledge. I called for shifts but they would just hang up on me. I thought ok, maybe they were trying to transfer lines but I was wrong. I called twice more and they hung up each time. Why hire Nurses if you are not going to give them any cases to work? it was a waste of my time and a waste of the agencies money to hire someone you never intended giving work to. I would not recommend due to unprofessionalism, low pay, lack of benefits, no communication, no cases to work.

Great company to work for! You are able to work either on a flexible schedule or a routine schedule. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes the client's family members.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly, helpful, and the company has review classes every year. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Make daily initial assessment, followup every hour assessment, document clients' progress  every hour.

Advanced Care Partners is a small home health care company. At first, I thought it was a really great job, but that changed when my manager left two weeks after I started. There have been several CFOs and people quit constantly. They micromanage a lot, and I don't think they treat their African American employees fairly. They show favoritism; certain higher-up people can work from home, but the clinical team can't. It's not fair, and there is really bad communication within the company as a whole.
