A typical day at ACS is hands-on, structured, and meaningful. Each shift looks a little different depending on the client, but the focus is always on safety, skill-building, and supporting individuals and families during challenging situations.
No two days are the same.  Through this role, I’ve learned far more than just behavior intervention techniques. I’ve gained real-world experience. Management at ACS is supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in both staff and clients. Supervisors are available when needed, provide You never feel like you’re on your own. The workplace culture is collaborative and mission-driven. Team members support one another, celebrate growth, and share a common goal of helping people live safer, more independent lives.
The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing progress, whether it’s a client learning a new skill, a family feeling supported, or successfully helping prevent a crisis from escalating. Knowing the work truly makes a difference is what makes ACS a great place to work.

My experience at ACS has been over the top awesome since day 1. I always think about the fact that I will likely never find a company or team like this again in my life. Everyone at ACS is supportive and truly cares about your personal and professional development. Our bosses care about our mental health and work/life balance and always go above and beyond to make sure we have the resources we need to be successful and comfortable. ACS is committed to bettering the industry standard overall, and making positive and meaningful change in client's lives. They also know the importance of benefits and fair pay and are constantly striving to make sure we are supported in every sense. Another great thing about this company is the clarity of how you can get promoted and move up in the company and advance in your career. They will continuously train you, support you, give you feedback, and encourage you.

As I grow with the company it’s a constant path of growth forward. Each day I’m presented with a new task, set of challenges, or person/client to work with depending on the day. It’s all exciting and rewarding in its own way. The culture, cultivated by the management and, the team as a whole really, it helps create a welcoming environment to work in, and makes going to work with your coworkers pleasant. I’ve got to say there are some very tough days, but the company spends so much time training you, that it’s really just all in a days work when you get thoroughly trained and confident in your abilities. With that being said, the bad days hardly ever outweigh the good days, in my experience. A great place to work, friendly faces to work with, and amazing people to help live their best lives. Proud of the work we do to help change peoples lives, even if it’s one day at a time. 

I've been working at ACS for a while now, and I can honestly say I really enjoy being part of the team. The work is meaningful and rewarding, and I love working with the clients. The pay is better than most places I've worked, and the training is fun and informative.

There have been a lot of changes over the past year, but they seem to be for good reasons. The organization is growing, and they've also had to adapt to changes in California funding. Even with those changes, I enjoy working here and plan to stay.

The company has a great culture, supportive leadership, and an amazing team. Scheduling and hours can be challenging at times, but management has always worked hard to help me get more hours when things are slow.

Overall, ACS is a great company to work for, and I'm excited to continue growing with the organization.

At first, Advanced Crisis Solutions seems great.. Training is smooth and everyone acts friendly. But once you start working, you see how bad the environment really is. Supervisors play favorites, don’t offer real support, and give fewer hours than promised.

There’s constant gossip and cliques among BTs, and supervisors push you to “open up,” which just fuels more drama. Management gives vague feedback, never explains what you did wrong, and seems focused on writing people up before six months to avoid giving raises.

They also cut the 40-hour BCBA course, leaving staff unregistered. Most of the time, the job feels more like babysitting than real behavioral work.

A typical day of work consists of working directly with clients providing behavioral respite. Management will push case managers to maximize billable hours and schedule as much fieldwork as possible.
Management will not protect employees when conflict arises, and will use vague wording to cover themselves. The workplace culture is positive among the direct employees, but feedback from management is vague and passive aggressive. The hardest part of the job is not having the support of management, and being an at-will employee.
The most enjoyable part of the job is working with clients.

ACS is an upcoming company that continues to make changes as they evolve. This is the first job I have encountered that values the company culture and making sure their employees are set up for success. They accept our feedback and take all thoughts/concerns into consideration. Being able to spend time in the field and the office has allowed me to build connections with our clients on top of creating unique intervention plan that will best work for our clients. I can say I look forward to going to work everyday and being apart of this team!

A typical day looks like, unexpected changes expectations to notice change on less than 8hrs. They do not have to notify you. If you call out you are expected to give 8hrs they don’t need to. You will have less hours and bills behind due to inconsistency. You are expected to drive your own vehicle now make sure you never have any problems management will tell you it’s ok but will keep track of it to use it against you later. If you have children or a single income I don’t recommend this being the place for you.
