This job is associated with agencies. Which means they get people to work for this growing  company and they pay a percentage. One hand washes the other. It was nice at first. Until the dust settled. There is a no phones policy. For HIPPA compliance. Every. Single. Person. Including managers and HR are on their phones doing non work related topics. I am certainly no expert but I don’t think hair braiding is part of my job description, yet every day she gets her hair braided while the manger make me pick up the slack. If I’m the only one on the phone why are we both getting paid? Funny. My manager said she only answers to emails yet doesn’t answer mine, unless there is an HR’s name attached to it. I felt like the only one with my nose not in the air. I see the fake smiles just to get past me to sit at your dusty desk. Don’t you dare look over here, I can see you making 101 mistakes that I have to fix later. Why are you even at work? If you aren’t here to give 110% why come to work? So one hand can wash the other. No one cares about the quality of the work because it’s not as a big of impact as the profit they make off a head. Customer service is all about being happy to help. No one here is happy to help. If you ever have the displeasure of transferring a call, it brings your whole day down. The recipient sounds like a high schooler who just learned they have to work for a living to make a living. You can actually hear their dead spirit. You can feel it too. It’s a nice idea for a business. Sadly the customers are “tricked” into a lifelong subscription. “Tricked” I mean most of the callers I had never managed their blood sugar levels so they are mad to use our services to begin with. Now they are stuck paying for something they didn’t want in the first place and it cases them pain. They customers don’t care and why should they? We sound like we don’t care either. The easiest way to put this company is the American dream. An idea so simple the American population can obsess over and forget the real reason they needed this service in the first place. My last note is the head staff. I feel they should be held more accountable. If they really wanted results, they would have them. Not just playing solitaire or checking emails. Also if they get paid more, why? Tenure? Be aware. Everything you do is being watched. People have x in the office. Everyone looks like they either drink whisky or smoke leaf. If someone had a problem with personal hygiene, be that person to help. I saw it with my own eyes. Most people here will just watch the office burn, and why not. I made just enough money to starve in my apartment with the lights on.

Oh ADS, don’t work for them, just don’t. I literally was scolded in our work chat room for going to the restroom. The procedures were always changing, CFO was overbearing, and management only cared about sales. We were expected to hit goal every month which is understandable but what’s not okay is pressuring employees to work overtime. Every last day of the month they had us come in at 6am and if we didn’t hit goal by 4pm we had to stay until 6pm. 

Now for the main reason I left. I have struggled with my mental health for awhile and explained that I was overwhelmed and wanted to commit suicide. Yes, LITERALLY SUICIDE. I was on leave for about a week. I provided a doctor’s note and communicated I still wanted my job but I needed some time for myself. I let the manager know I would need about a month off. I was ignored for several days then when I finally got a response the manager said she would check with HR and get back to me. After several more days went by without an answer I finally caved and emailed my letter of resignation. I never received a response from any of the following people: the HR head rep, the CFO (small company her cubicle was across from mine), none of my leads, and lastly my manager who was my main point of contact. I received my last two checks in the mail. I was never contacted in order to pick up my items from my cubicle. In one of my desk drawers I had a textbook rental for my neuropsychology course that I had to replace because they went silent and refused to speak to me. 
ADS LITERALLY IGNORED THE FACT I WAS SUICIDAL. They don’t care. If they didn’t care about me possibly dying they sure won’t care about you.

The ONLY thing that was good about this place was some of the coworkers. This company is the worst company ever. The management sucks, and the people in management shouldn’t be managers or supervisors in the first place. You don’t get trained properly and if you don’t know how to speak up for yourself you’ll fail, and they’ll hate you for it even if you do. They expect you to make zero mistakes and meet your daily goal yet they don’t train you and hold it against you if ask questions and/or for help. NO one takes accountability and management will throw you under the bus. Plus they make you feel like you can not take any time off. When they interview you and ask if you have any appointments in the next 6 months and you say no, you better be able to tell the future because if you ask they throw the fact that you said no in your interview and won’t approve the time off. Not to mention they overwork you. I’m talking 10 hour + days of mandatory overtime including weekends. Not to mention it’s temp to hire but they don’t actually hire you. I was working for almost 7 months and they wanted to wait 3 more months before making a decision. Yeah, I don’t think so. 

Good place to get  medical billing experience.you start as a temp and are hired on. ** they don't pay any holidays UNTIL AFTER 9 months from your start day also no sick time must use PTO**   Daily work includes following up with insurance companies in reference to unpaid/ underpaid / denied claims.  The accounts  are all messed up because they have such a high turn over rate. Makes it EXTREMELY  difficult and frustrating  to work. Department gets new people every week. Company needs to compensate employees fairly  if they want to cultivate a good team. You learn a lot, although there is no order or structure. You have to figure things out on your own. They expect you to know everything and get mad when you dont. They are more about QUANTITY over QUALITY, it shows. Other teams mess up like crazy and their leads don't accept fault. They point the blame on everyone else. Very high-school mentality with a lot of gossip and cliques.Don't stay here too long. Learn as much as you can and move on, you can get a higher paying position using  the experience you get from ADS.

HR is EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL.

I've worked in the treatment industry with people that have been incarcerated, been to mental health wards, and who have been mentally unstable. At that job, I was threatened and put in danger every day. Working at ADS is by far a worse experience. Management plays favorites and every week someone has either been fired or will be fired next week. People come and go more at ADS than at a Casino gambling. Management encourages misandry and oppression. You are tied to your desk by your phone making 100 plus call every day on software that you aren't properly trained on. Anything you ask management is used against you as a way for you to get fired so that another temp can fill your job. Everyone comes in as a temp worker and everyone can be fired before you get any health, dental or vision care. To get health care you have to stay on a year long probationary period. I would never recommend this job to my worst enemy.

I agreed from the previous comment, i loved the job itself, however if you dont find your click there your mostly likely to be fired or you'll eventually quit.the position is temp to hire however they're very strict when it comes to tardy they dont care if you got in to accident or something like that..as long as you're late you'll be on the director's s list. They dont care if you're doing the best you can, and dont ask for too much help, they're going to think that your dumb and you dont know your job eventhough you just wanted to make sure that your doing your job correctly so it wont fired back at you. Also, favoritism at that department is at finest, next thing you know the person right next to you is a lead with a whole team even though this person were just hired and basically just took a week frm vacation and hardly have any contributions to the team.if you want to work in that kind of world...ha ha ha! Good luck with that!!

The first week I started, I knew I'd love it here. The onboarding process was a great way to get connected to the company and immerse yourself into the culture. And even since, the company prioritizes finding ways to connect employees including those that are remote like myself by hosting geo-pod events and virtual meetups. A core value of the company is "We Put Our People First". I've learned firsthand, ADS doesn't just say that, they show it. 

I've also been so impressed with how everyone is so receptive and easy to work and collaborate with across business units. The culture really shines through when you're working on projects together. This includes working with leadership. I truly do feel empowered and supported by leadership to accomplish needed tasks. By getting that support, I feel even more of a sense of pride and ownership of my work.





What is the best part of working at the company?
They have amazing training. Their managers are available to ask questions. If they are not, you can easily ask team members questions on their chat. The nurses and doctors you speak with are smart and usually very helpful. So, even though you have many calls, the clients are nice 99% of the time.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The only stressful part is to meet the calls each hour. But they still assist you with your goals.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is team oriented and you can learn a lot very quickly.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You are calling out to Doctor's/Nurses to confirm information and updating corrections/completing information for customers to receive prescriptions.

A typical day at work was a busy day we had about 2,000 patients who was split upon 4 employee's so each one of us was in charge of 500 patients. i learned to manage an important patient data base as well as how to bill certain medical insurance to collect payments for supplies the company had shipped out. I learned to be organized and a fast learner and to always keep patients information confidential. Management was great they always wanted to be on top of how employees were working and what could make our job smoother. co-workers all seemed to get along inside and outside of the job. The job always went smooth as long as you did your job properly. The most important part of the job was that the managers were always looking out for you and how to help you exceed.
