This is a great company for new engineers or field technicians to get into the construction industry. Work is very hands on, involves critical thinking and problem solving, and is a new challenge every day. New technicians go through extensive training and working alongside veteran technicians to learn the process and methods for conducting investigations. Engineering or other technical experience or schooling will help new technicians work through training many times faster and get them out in the field quicker.

The job has many exciting perks such as getting to be at a new location every day, working on some of the largest construction sites in the world, travel to other states (all travel expenses paid), technicians get to keep their travel miles, bonuses available for generating business and going the extra step.

It is a great experience for those without construction experience to learn how the industry works and get to experience projects in every single phase or for those with experience to hit the ground running.

My experience at Advanced GPR so far is nothing but positive. This great place to start your career in that will train you and be patient with you throughout your training process. What really appealed to me before joining them is the ability to be able to travel to different states and be able to work on various types of projects. They pay for all the travel expenses and will pay you to fly as well. When traveling to different states they give you per diem for food which is great. If you are looking for a job that is fun, exciting and on the field then this is the place for you. I’ve been seeing new things everyday on the job and that’s makes it exciting for me. Having an engineering degree helps a lot as I able to catch on to the training much quicker than the average person does.

Advanced GPR has allowed me to grow within the company and in my own personal knowledge. The owner is very smart and wants the company and you to grow, which allows for many bonuses to be given out such as cash, gifts, checks, etc when we work hard. Busier times call for more perks. Because it is a smaller company they do not provide medical insurance, although compensation does cover the cost and was easy to set up. They even gave me a contact for an insurance agent. The best part about Advanced GPR besides the bonuses, is the flexibility the owner offers me. Overall, if you work hard and have the same passion to grow the company you would love it here as I do/have in the past 8 months.

I've been working with the company for 3 years and have learned many different things about this industry. The owner has a lot of experience and knowledge and wants his entire team to be successful and to continue to learn. He really pushes safety and training. The company does a great job in acknowledging employees' hard work. I've personally experienced numerous bonuses and raises. The owner is very generous and fair.

This company has no direction and is by far one of the worst companies I've ever worked for. The owner is completely nonexistent and the most passive-aggressive person I've ever met.  He treats his employees like they are the scum of the earth. The company does not offer any type of benefits at all. No medical, dental, vacation, PTO, etc. When you interview he will tell you that you can earn bonuses that will far exceed the cost of private insurance but that is simply not the case. I highly suggest staying far away.

All around my experience at Advanced GPR has been great! I recently just started working as an admin assistant and I am learning more and more everyday. I went to a 4yr University and with my knowledge I have learned there, I have been able to gain more of an understanding being on the job. I am one who lives to learn, so I look forward to growing with the company. 

This is a small company. Multiple "hats" will be worn and expectations will be set high. Spontaneous trips out of state. This is great for someone with no family responsibilities or no need for a set schedule. Traveling is great! Sometimes getting stuck over the weekend in a place you are unfamiliar with was not fun.

I've been with the company for a year.  And my manager encouraged me to learn more about our trade,  skills and how to improve our leadership qualities.  I took over managing in January and we have implemented great ways to help our teams succeed. And we are growing.  

We have a family oriented team that is always implementing new ways to work smarter and not harder.  The management at Advanced G.P.R. truly care about your success and notice your efforts when you are doing your part, and doing it well. 

The owner of the company does a very good job of not letting any of his employees do any work without micromanagement, unnecessary 1+ hour phone calls or some other form of engagement from him.
