Advantage is a promising growing company that has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. My typical day involves all the duties of a PIC along with making decisions that help my patients with drug therapy and getting access to medications that are difficult to obtain because of insurance formularies.  We are actively working with the providers at MD offices to make their lives easier as well.  From administering Long Acting Injectables to corresponding staff for patient needs. The management is always providing us with necessary tools to be successful on a daily basis. The culture has grown and enabled the staff to bond and be like a family.

This company is one of the best places I’ve worked for. Was here for almost 6 years. You’ll be exposed to different aspects of pharmacy! A lot of room for growth if you put in the work. 
I will always be grateful for everything I have learned and was exposed to! Much respect to the management for always being supportive! 
This is a high volume company to work for and yes there is high stress but if you want to be a well rounded pharmacy tech in a retail setting this is the place you’ll learn from the most !! 

Yes there’s always room for improvement but overall this place is very special!

When I was employed with this company I always just wanted to have clients with lo ger hours,  otherwise all was well.

The environment was professional 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I worked inside of the clients home and only reported the company's office when i needed to turn in time sheets,  have meetings or training.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great environment if you like this type of work.

Sometimes people just doesn't heat you out or listen to your ideas

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good atmosphere. Hopefully you will have good co workers to match your energy.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is a learning experience lime no other.

Company is very unorganized, meaning no one knows who the manager/boss is. All the employees that have had years of working there feel like they are the boss and can talk and treat the new hires like kids. No respect. Pay sucks, they say one thing just to hire you but when your hired you have no clue when your getting your benefits, sick days, even your rights as a worker. Basically if you want to work here guessing all the time on what your doing if your doing it right or legal, being confused,mistreated, and over stressed this is the right job for you.

This company says they value you and their company standards. They do not. They value their bottom line and how to boost their revenue. They do not value feedback in any form that is critical or provides insight on how to possibly better manage different aspects of their company. Honesty is not a value they abide by. They will offer you a job that sounds great with great pay... however thats not what it ends up being. Be very wary of employment with this company. 

There is a blame culture. People only want to own things that others have done the work on.  Some of the friendliest people are the quietest, but those in the role of employee engagement are awful. Unfriendly. Giant act when the CEO is watching. Telling people they run everything, but they can’t even answer an email. Told that you don’t matter to them unless you’re a senior leader. Nothing is ever relayed until the last minute, things aren’t done and then they blame someone else. 

I’ve been with Advantage Healthcare Services for about five months now, and the entire experience—from onboarding to today—has been absolutely amazing.

The team and leadership are not only incredibly professional, but also genuinely kind human beings. There’s a real sense of care and mutual respect, and it’s clear that everyone is committed to helping each other grow and succeed in their roles. I feel valued, supported, and truly proud to be part of this organization.

Having 9 years of experience working in retail pharmacies as a pharmacy technician, this pharmacy by far has been the best place to work at. Working here has given me the opportunity to grow as a professional team player aside with a positive environment and pharmaceutical knowledge from the pharmacist. Coming on board to this company has change my life significantly because of the trust and support that has been provided.

The pay is so low and the pharmacist yells at you all day and doesn’t care what you have to say. I would cry at the end of all my shifts because the boss would make me feel so useless when I was filling 150 scripts a day and processing numerous insurances I left to go to kiaser and get paid twice as much. Don’t work here it’s haell — they work you to the bones and cause so much emotional damage
