I took my first travel contract with Advantis Medical last summer and I cannot say enough good things about the agency and especially my recruiter. The process was smooth, communication with my recuiter was excellent, and I came across no issues during my first assignment.   
 
Building a report with my recruiter gave me the confidence to continue working with Advantis Medical. I am now doing local contracts and am excited to have been with Advantis for over a year now! My recruiter has been a large part in making my experience great. Any hiccups that arise, she is always responsive and ready to get things resolved. I highly recommend this agency for first time travel nurses. 

Being a young company comes with a lot of growing pains and Advantis is not an exception. The benefits and culture are lacking, however, the productivity and push of leadership coupled with the tenacity and hunger of a primarily young staff have made growth a constant variable that continues to trend upward providing more opportunities internally. 

If traveling for nursing is new to you it's a very different world, if you come with confident well rounded experience  that is the least you need to worry about. The first week or two will take some adjustments with particular facilities details, overall practice, guidelines and protocols seems fairly universal-but sometimes different, as long as it's safe practice you just need to work with it and understand it . It can be challenging to earn trust from nursing and medical staff being an outsider in a traveling position but once earned you do receive a lot of trust and respect.
 

Currently spending my first year as a travel nurse with Advantis Medical. My first experience with an agency did not go well, but Advantis has helped me feel more secure about choosing to travel. Everyone has been clear, effective and timely in their communication, they made the onboarding process easy and straight forward, my recruiter still checks in on me even 8 months in, she and I have developed a great rapport and if I’ve ever had an issue it was addressed and resolved quickly. I am looking forward to continue to work with this company.

The engineering team is only a year old at Advantis, but we are doing great things. We have a great team that is cohesive, works hard and gets a lot done. We work together when we need to and work independently quite well also. We have a lot of autonomy in how we get the engineering work done and what decisions are made with tech. Overall we are solving interesting problems that are challenging and keep things interesting from day to day.  

Advantis Medical has followed through with everything they committed too during the hiring process.  If you are serious about Healthcare staffing this is the place for you.  If you are willing to put in the time & effort you will have no issues here. 

Management is there to support you but not to micro manage you.  There is no micro -managing here!

The staff/recruiters at Advantis are very quick to respond to concerns, update you on jobs, and make sure all your information for an assignment is up to date as quickly as possible. They make the experience enjoyable and quick. Their relationships with hospitals is great and gives a wide variety of job opportunities. The website could use some updating but the recruiters help you navigate to exactly where you need to go in order to update your information. 

Typical day at work is always upbeat, challenging and fun! Although there can be stressful moments, the culture is 100% what makes this company so special. Management is incredible, flexible with your needs and understanding. The most enjoyable part is learning something new everyday and being surrounded by people that genuinely care about you!

The staff at Advatis were there every step of the way guiding me through the travel nurse experience.  They made sure all of my paperwork was in order before I arrived, assisted me in finding housing in the area and checked to see how the job was going and if I had any concerns.  I would highly recommend this company.
