What is the best part of working at the company?
Good cases great hours  the nurses and supervision was excellent they are reasonable and understanding of not only the workers needs but the patients as well

It wasn't anything stressful the cases your assigned to you make the best of it if its a stressful case and your unable to manage it I person feel your in the wrong field of work

Lack of respect from supervisor.  Most of them will offer you job when no one else will take it and if you refuse, you will be penalized.

The work environment is stressful 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day for me is great because, at the end of the day my client  is well care for and that's my number one priority.

I work in the office at Affirmed.  There is a true sense of teamwork and support.  Myself and my colleagues take great pride in what we do, with many years of combined experience. Although the company is only a few years old and is still adapting to life with a pandemic, we are growing and doing amazing things for those that we have the privilege of caring for.  Our caregivers and nurses are top notch! Great place to be valued and a positive work environment.

The company is fairly new but, it's thriving and expanding at a fast pace. This comapny is very fast paced and is perfect for people who are looking to grow within the company, people who have open availability and are looking to work. Perfect place if you're detail oriented, have excellent time management skills, have excellent communication skills, and looking to work for a company that geuniely cares for their employees. 

Long wait for a case after orientation. They text about cases and I reach out to the number provided and the message is left on “read” and no one answers. Then it’s weeks of waiting til another case pops up. Call HR to ask questions they say leave a message no one calls back. They make you feel bad and give nasty attitude for the one time I called out. Pay is ok.  Got offered $10 for travel when asked to work an extra shift n I asked if there was some incentive. $10 can’t even buy gas for going close to an hour away. Scheduler blows up your phone when they “need” you otherwise u wait forever with no case. 2/10 

Thought at 1st to be a good working atmosphere but, turned out the opposite. Disorganized organization, unplanned/unsupported training. Assessment forms were a mess
Case loads were overwhelming, less staff.
Unfair assignments/treatment



The  coordinators are disorganized and they never tell the truth about the cases they sent the Aides. They also favor certain groups over others. Not good.

The process was quick to sign up but there is never any cases. I can go a whole 4-5 weeks without any shifts.  I had my hours cancelled at the last minute so a regular nurse can get her hours. Definitely no job security. I feel like I have been tricked. I have over 10 years of nursing experience so it doesn't matter if your new grad or have experience.

They pay on time. You have to keep track of your hours. Many of the administrators are nice. No bonus, no employee of year, no end of the year holiday party.

I know how to be patient with the client talk to them sometimes read to them help with activities watching their favorite movies with them if that's what they want and so much more
