Overall, Aftercare Nursing was a gratifying company to have been a part of. The Jamestown office consisted of a strong team with a foundation of “having each other’s back’s” and simply making each other laugh to get through the workday (or, at times, just to keep one of us from crying). Staffing can be a thankless job that is somewhat out of a Coordinators initial control on a daily basis. And without a confident, supportive manager and caring, goofy coworkers/peers it would be a job almost impossible to fulfill while keeping your sanity in tact. I am nothing but grateful for my time at Aftercare!

It is rewarding great place always willing to help employees never a complaint about anything fun looked forward to work everyday It was an adventure never a dull moment. This is a great company to work for only down fall is you get attached to your client then it's that decision to have to send them for more care.supervisiors are kind and curiosity to your emotions to the current situation you are so emotional support is a plus. The down fall would be not enough help but that comes along with the job and it is told before you are hired. So always show up with positive attitude and prepared for whatever comes your way. I never had any problems with staying over or when they called me I would always go in. Never a problem.

on call 24/7 salaried for 40 hrs, work 60. Cant have a part time job to make up for lost pay. no weekends off, no work life balance management is a mess,  they are rude unprofessional and only care about what benefits them. Interview had me believe this was a great place to work but in reality it was all a lie 
turn over is unbelievable , find another place to work. Not worth your time


I went through 2 weeks of training to them only firing me without working one hour with them. My friend that I went through with the training with quit without notice while I was on medical leave. After my medical leave they never call me for hours. I had to call them and still never had hours available. Two weeks later I get a letter in the mail for termination. Welp at least I got a PCA license out of that...

A typical day at work was very smooth. I love the bond that me and my client had. I was the only aide she opened up to. I learned about her life and she learned about mines. The only thing I disliked about this job is that you received a short notice on when you was being mandated. Some of the workers were not considerate of other workers and didn't even apologize for being late.

By far the worst company, they should be shut down. The schedulers lie to the aides and the family members of the patients. They do not try to find a replacement when an aide calls off, which is almost every weekend. 

I have made numerous complaints to Their supervisors and it has only gotten worse, they care nothing about the client or the clients care and safety

Aftercare nursing services was a nice place to work for the time being. But they are also very unprofessional and not organized all the time. I understand things happen and you have to stay and work a shift you did not plan on working but they tell you last minute and do not try to relieve you in a timely manner. They sometimes come across as not caring.

Working for Aftercare was very easy, laid-back work.  It was nice helping others who needed help doing things that they could not do on their own. The only thing is you have to deal with some clients who were mean and nasty but besides that the job is great.

I've learned to stick to the care plan and assist clients with daily activities to always communicate at all times with the nurses and managers and to always notify nurse managers as soon as any changes may accure.

What I Love the most is being able to be there for my client when no one else is and lend a helping hand when they are in need. When you can put a smile on your client face and make them feel relaxed.
