Management does not care about employees, supervisor is covered by the director and doesn't make supervisor resolve issues in their own department. Supervisor helps other department on who knows what while their department suffers. Director discourages and belittles employees that are trying to speak up.The culture at work is the same as high school, we are supposed to be grown ups. People who don't have social skills get promoted to supervisor positions. Enjoyable when there was another boss that actually cared about working as a team and supporting their department not brown nosing. There are a few good people.Some departments get throwned other departments work out of the blue. PTO request are 2 weeks in advance and if you get sick they write you up. Supervisor may disregard writing you up if they like you.

The hardest part of my job working with Alameda Alliance there was so much work and the 8 hr hours wasn't enough time to complete the daily task that was expected.
The most enjoyable part of my job we had a lot of managers, other department, other working partner to provide support for my daily duties to be completed. Working with patient and meeting with their health care requirement gives me a lot of pleasure.

My typical day would start by auditing that health protected data had been received and loaded correctly into our data warehouse. My department then performed Q&A reporting to ensure data integrity. I would receive calls from multiple internal departments as well as trading partners in order to resolve membership, eligibility, enrollment  and encounter data issues. Being able to assist our community on a daily basis with there medical needs brings me a great sense of fulfillment.

Coming into the office logging into the computer checking emails, listening to voice mails. Fulfilling all management task. Complete various task such as drafting documents, providing excellent customer service. What I learned is how to public speak and how to run a successful team. The work place culture is very enjoyable knowing different types of ideas. The hardest part of the job is a the beginning when you are first hired because you have to get to know all of the companies procedures. The most enjoyable part of the job is open direct communication, constant growth and loving what you do.

Working at Alameda Alliance For Health was a wonderful experience. Management keeps a very work friendly type atmosphere, staff there very friendly, and willing to help others type of attitude. Claims department very high volume work, and operated under solid management, and leadership. I really enjoyed my tenure while working there, would recommend for anyone looking to pursue, and continue career in healthcare.

Customer Care representative in charge of daily interaction assisting customers with benefits and eligibility.
•	Assisting members and providers with benefits and eligibility.
•	Researched HMO claims history. 
•	Thoroughly research member’s plan for eligible issues.
•	Navigate various applications for providing assistance with authorizations and referrals
•	Processing Kaiser request for assignment
•	Assist customers in the office as well as on the phone

A good place to work for all the  employees.I worked as a contractor 
for four months .
Work enviroment is also pleasant.

The Alliance is small company that is continuing to grow. It is under new management with a lot of changes happening so it will take some getting use to and could lead to some frustrations. However, the Alliance is learning as they go and trying to help employees strive to create a better work environment.

A typical day for me is to work on my assigned duties, assist team mates on things they may need advice on.  I've learned that not everyone in certain positions truly know their work.  The hard part of the day is when there is no structure I place for training of new staff.  The most enjoyable is the friendliness of the staff.

This environment is one that mocks High school. The training supervisor is extremely controlling and aggressive. She talks to new hires as if they are children and her training methods are effective. Extremely stressful environment to thrive in. Unrealistic QA thresholds for MSRs. A lot of nepotism in this agency. Everyone gets their friends hired. Stay away from this health care agency
