I have had the incredible opportunity to work at this law firm, starting as a clerk and now as a practicing attorney. The journey from clerk to attorney has been immensely rewarding, thanks to the firm's commitment to providing substantial room for growth. I started working here with my expectations extremely high. I have been given great reviews about their great training and overall quality of workload. When i first started it was great and did receive plenty of training but as the time went on i started feeling extremely frustrated with their lack of communication and values reflecting on their actual performance. HR highlights the importance of team work but the supervisor raises her voice and gives you extreme attitude when you go to her. If she is having a bad day, you will in fact feel it too. They changed my position without even giving me an option altering my ability to balance personal life responsibilities and more. A simple conversation or offer would’ve definitely demonstrated more of a respect for their employees. The staff expresses a high level of frustration and burn out with the workload resulting from being given little time to even use the bathroom or other necessities since the system will NOT allow you to take a pause. And if you do it will be resulted as a No response leading to negative responses from HR or supervisors. I believe they need to definitely work on their leadership communication and focus more on a employee centered approach who supports and respects morals. 

A typical day at Alex Hanna Law as a PI Associate is fast-paced and demanding — you're juggling client calls, drafting demands, negotiating with adjusters, and coordinating with case managers and lien departments. You’re expected to move cases forward and think strategically, and your calendar is full — but never boring.

I’ve learned more in 2.5 years here than many of my peers at other firms. From settlement strategy to real negotiation tactics, I’ve been exposed to the full pre-suit and litigation cycle. You’re trained to think like a closer, manage volume, and make judgment calls confidently.

Management is responsive if you’re proactive and show dedication. Expectations are high, but so are the opportunities to grow. The workplace culture rewards performance and initiative. It’s not a hand-holding environment, but if you’re driven, you’ll thrive.

The hardest part of the job is keeping pace with the caseload while staying organized. The most enjoyable part is helping injured clients get results — and seeing your negotiation translate into real money for real people. Closing tough cases feels genuinely rewarding.

The leadership here got promoted because of connections, not because anyone is qualified to manage people. You can see it the second you start, no plan, no follow through on anything, and when something goes wrong management just vanishes. I spent a year watching people get completely burned out because leadership can't make the most basic decisions or hold anyone accountable, including itself. It's not about the work or the clients or the office location, it's that the people in charge are genuinely incapable of leading a team and that poisons everything. Nobody above you has your back when things fall apart, which always happens because of terrible planning from the top. I could've stayed longer but watching incompetence at that level and knowing nothing would ever change, it simply wasn't worth my time.

My typical day at work involves interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds. I handle a wide range of challenging cases and find great gratification in helping people—many of whom are scared and uncertain—by reassuring them that our team is here to support them and that everything will work out.

I’m proud to work at Alex Hanna Law, a firm that is highly respected in the community. I appreciate the firm’s organized approach to case management and the strong court advocacy skills I’ve developed through my training here.

Over time, I’ve gained confidence in representing clients in immigration court and have taken on increasing responsibility. My experience at the firm has significantly improved my litigation and negotiation skills, particularly in working with opposing counsel and law enforcement personnel. The fast-paced environment has helped me become more resilient, organized, and client-focused.


The workload is very heavy and often feels unsustainable over time. Employees are frequently expected to take on multiple roles without sufficient support or resources. Communication and organization from management can be inconsistent, which creates daily frustration and confusion. Burnout appears to be common, and when workload concerns are raised, they do not always feel fully acknowledged or addressed. High turnover and limited recognition make it difficult to stay motivated or feel valued. Messaging around “team culture,” “balance,” and “support” does not always align with the actual day-to-day work environment

Management: Focus on proper staffing, clearer leadership, and realistic expectations. Actively listen when employees express concerns about workload and burnout. Building a culture rooted in honesty, transparency, and genuine support would help create a more sustainable and respectful workplace.

A typical day at work is calling medical providers and medical facilities to reduce/waives for  client's medical balances incurred for injuries they sustained in their automobile accident /slip falls cases . I enjoy interacting with other individuals within the field. Management and culture of the firm is quite and pleasant, everyone seems to be at their stationed assigned to their work responsibilities on a daily basis.  Hardest task is just learning the computer system on a day by day and asking questions as I go along and learning from my manager and other co -workers within the department. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to communicate all day with other personnel outside the firm and within the firm to assist those clients in their legal needs and that they get compensated for their claims at my earliest opportunity.

Working at Alex Hanna Law has been such a fantastic experience for me. Honestly, the vibe here is just awesome. One of the coolest things is the way they handle time off – loads of it. It's like they get that we all need a break to recharge, you know?

And can we talk about breakfast and lunch? I love that it's on the house. Not only does it save me the hassle of meal prep, but there's something about sharing a meal with colleagues that makes the day feel more connected.

The people here are top-notch. It's not just about the job; it's about being part of a team that has each other's backs. The whole atmosphere is supportive, and you can actually feel the encouragement for everyone to grow professionally.

All these little things, from the PTO to the free meals, make coming to work at Alex Hanna Law feel more like hanging out with a bunch of friends. It's the kind of place that makes you genuinely look forward to each day.

Ive been working with the firm for the past year and a half. During my time here i have come to realize that this is a place like no other. Management here truly goes above and beyond to ensure that the overall work culture is a positive one. They are constantly following up with employee's for feedback on ways that the company can improve. The company's CEO often leads trainings for the staff multiple times a week. This is not the norm in most firms I've worked at before. Holidays here are my absolute favorite, they try to make even the most mundane holiday a special one, whether that be with a company lunch or just a special treat. As far as the pay goes, I've received two pay increases in my time here, and I'm on the path for a pretty big promotion soon. This is a great place to work, and id recommend it to anyone looking for stable career growth. 

I have worked in the immigration department at Alex Hanna Law for over two years. The work is fast paced and requires  good work habit but I have enjoyed working with my case managers and staff to provide excellent service with their immigration needs. The firm has been extremely helpful in assisting me with any  case issues and providing avenues like client relations to assist in cases when necessary.

Most importantly, the firm has a great work life balance and benefits which are vital as an attorney. Also, Mr. Hanna is always reachable for questions and provides training for case managers and attorneys in the department. 

I highly recommend the firm and have enjoyed  my personal experiences working alongside my case managers and other attorneys in the department.
