Company is very unprofessional and unorganized. You are given a recruiter who updates you with open assignments when hired on. Recruiter texts you after respectable hours to see if you're available for an assignment and sometimes you are confirmed for assignments ahead of time and will receive a call from a different recruiter to see what your availability is to see if you can work an assignment they are calling you about. Recruiters call last minute sometimes to inform you that you aren't needed after being assigned an a weekly assignment 

The lack of communication is unacceptable and after being with the company since February 1st, I have realized this is not an agency I would like to work through.

Alignstaffing is a good place to work remotely. Employees have a significant amount of autonomy over their tasks. While management is decent, communication with employees could be improved. The company culture is pleasant, but building strong relationships with team members can be challenging. There is also room for the company to be more engaging with its employees. One of the hardest aspects of the job is dealing with temporary employees who may lack professionalism. However, the most enjoyable part of the job was working alongside my teammates.

The company is not perfect but strive to maintain a culture of work life balance. This is a staffing company which means that employees are expected to reach their weekly recruiting goals. If you are not goal and sales orientated Aligstaffing may not be a good fit.  Because the culture is relaxing an employee can be deceived that goals are unimportant..

1.) A typical day at work consist of, engage with each child for at least 5 mins until breakfast is served, change children after eating, supervise each child while at a activity station,lunch is now served, we try to allow  children to pick put their own food on their plates (gross motor). i then change each child or walk them to the restroom, lay mats and sheets down, day is over.


4.) The work place culture at align staffing is a positive work place, Everyone here cares about each other, and is a great place to learn and grow.

6.) Most enjoyable part of the job is seeing children learn, engage, and interact with each other.

A typical day at work was assisting a client with there basic needs and planing out door activities . I learned how to be even more compassionate  and how to motivate my clients dealing with life changing  disabilities , Management at this company was very helpful and concerned with the well being of there staff. My co-workers were helpful when needed and very caring , The hardest part of my job was watching my patient's deal with there disability,The most enjoyable part was when I could put a smile on the face of a patient.

This was by far the worst place I've ever worked! The work/life balance is unbearable as a recruiter! Your work phone rings all day and all night even after work. The candidates that the company hires to put to work are often promised positions that aren't permanent or worth the hassle,and with little pay. So Alignstaffing portrays this image that "we will get you a job" then sadly if the candidate can't make it to a job site, their fired!   The management has favorites and if your not on that list, GOOD LUCK!

In the beginning of my journey at alignstaffing I learned a lot under the direction of my first manager. She made it her goal to teach, encourage,  train, and lead. There is no real work life balance as a recruiter you get 1 and a half days off, that phone is glued to you daily, you start as early as six am and work as late as 10pm. There is no working from home (even though others were granted that privilege) . This isn’t the place for advancement or growth either.

This company is a OK company. It had it's up's and down's but the main thing you have to do is keep and open  mind and self motivation. If you get board and set and do nothing then you wont get good feed back when its time to be looked as staff. You have to watch the lead teacher to see what to do during down time, watch the lead teacher to see how she/he enter acts with each child, then you will know how to deal with situations.

I was a great opportunity for me to get some experience in teaching. However some of the children were very difficult and some times my placement for a day would be dedicated to only one specific child that had a disability or behavior problems. Sometimes I had to travel long distances to work and I wasn't always given a lot of time in advance to get there.

They could do better with contracting with certain companies and paying there employees better and acknowledging that. There based in Washington DC but most of there jobs are in based in VA so the pay is horrible. There not very stationary or consistent  with having there employees permanently stay at a clients house or even a facility.
