WORKPLACE CULTURE
In the rural community where this agency provides service for; the violence in the workplace is not an acute concern as you might fine elsewhere. Certainly, there is concern for being welcomed into a private home, and safety which is for all involved; client, PCA, and nurse. Interdepartmental communication between every department within the agency is critical and requires everyone's recognition and involvement. This includes all services that the client receives in their home. The agency actively reviews the home situation for every client before involving staff. Culture, family dynamics, diversity and age are part of the process in Home Care to prevent violence in the workplace/in client's homes for the client and nursing staff. All About Caring Home Care Inc has done a great job in investigating this before involving staff.  There is 24 hour communication to Management for any immediate concerns, emergency situations. Involving the company in your schedule allows them to know where you are and will get involved if necessary.

I learned so much here because I wanted to and was willing with small staff.  I loved my time with AAC and thank them for the vast knowledge they instilled upon me!  The benefits were lacking to say the least but the pay was fair.  Very willing to work with your time off if needed in a pinch.  Some opinions/points of view however seemed to be a little more important and or valued than others.  That can cause frustration and can make it seem as though people are being overlooked and like their expertise/experience is less valuable than others.  I guess it really does depend on which person you are in that situation though!  Overall great place to work!

Helpful staff and great co-workers!!!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I had no stress. Finding the right people for the job was frustrating. But other than that it wasn't stressful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Personal and friendly.  Any questions I had are answered in a timely manner. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to work and make my clients day the best day they could have and the staff also.

Great office staff, team work,  and collaboraton.

Staff calling off for shifts and waiting for replacements

Busy in an enjoyable way, time passes quickly

Great company to work for!  The owners really care about their employees & clients. They strive to be the best company they can in a very competitive market. It's an upbeat, sometimes hectic, always entertaining environment.

All About Caring is a fantastic company to work for! 
They have helpful and caring office staff that are always there to assist with any questions. 
They are extremely flexible with your schedule and the clients schedule, whether you work PT or FT.
They provide thorough training and have outstanding communication with all clients and staff!!!!!

I like that I can work 1 on 1 with a client, work at clients pace. I've learned to meet clients needs and assist when necessary. The management is very helpful and works with you when problems arise. The hardest part is saying good bye. You can get very attached to clients. I get to meet people I normally would not have and create new friendships

Working with All About Caring was like working with a loving family. They truly appreciated the work that I did and I received a decent raise after about a half year. They make sure to keep assistants up to date with training and strive to provide the best possible care for their clients.

So many . Working short all the time.

Fair depending on how is working with you.

This job is the best I've had, it's easy and my clients are all so wonderful and sweet. All About Caring is so good at finding you a client you'd get along with. They are also very accommodating to life issues and always work with you on a good schedule for you, and your client. Love this place, definitely recommend!
