Working at this company is a complete nightmare. Management is absolutely incompetent and consistently treats employees like they're disposable. Communication is non-existent, and any time someone raises a concern, it's swept under the rug like it never happened. They don’t care about employee well-being, and if you think you're ever going to get a meaningful raise, think again. Raises are either nonexistent or insulting. They dangle the promise of advancement or pay increases but never follow through, leaving you stuck in a dead-end job.

On top of that, the workplace culture is toxic. There's zero support or recognition for hard work, and favoritism runs rampant. If you're not in management's inner circle, you're basically invisible. Morale is constantly low because the company refuses to address glaring issues, from staffing shortages to outdated equipment. They'd rather let things fall apart than invest in solutions.

Turnover is through the roof because no one wants to stay in such a miserable, thankless environment. If you're considering working here, do yourself a favor and don't. It'll drain your energy, kill your motivation, and leave you wishing you never applied in the first place.

Company does not follow its own attendance policy.  Clients are able to go weeks without attending sessions and nothing is done about it.  There is a never-ending cycle of therapy dates with no plan to ever discharge a client.  There is no support from senior staff if you need treatment ideas.  Evals are not completed properly and the goals are unrealistic to carryout.  They will load you up with back-to-back treatments with absolutely no breaks.  The company also does not offer any type of additional pay or incentives for working for them.  Would never recommend this company (also formerly known  as SLPtele) to any practicing therapist.

Every day is a new day.  I have fun while working,  but always remain attentive to the clients.  I enjoy mentoring and educating co-workers in other work areas that they normally don't deal with.  I believe my co-workers genuinely care about my well-being as I do theirs.  My job is not just my job, but everyone's as we are PRO TEAM here. I also appreciate the flexibility in my schedule that allows me to volunteer at my child's school or sports activities. Work, life balance is very important to me. 

The hardest part of the job, is making do when the EMR is down.  Everyone is always working on their skill of having patience.  :-) 



Overall, this job offers a positive work experience with several advantages, including a flexible schedule, no micro-managing, and good support from the team. The pay is competitive, and there are opportunities for growth within the organization. Cons: no compensation for documentation time and no pay for client cancellations if you're a 1099 contractor. Additionally, the documentation platform can be glitchy at times, although improvements are in progress and it has great potential to be a great platform for both documentation and therapy activities. Despite these issues, the benefits and potential for advancement make it a worthwhile opportunity.

I work remotely; therefore, relaxed and supportive 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Conducting speech evaluations from 4-8 pm PST to children, adolescents, and adults. Writing evaluations and submitting reports within 24 hours.

The support I receive from manager and co-workers is amazing. I can really feel working as a whole team rather than just having colleagues and a boss. I enjoy helping patients and other clinicians and this company allows me to do it. Being able to work around so many different specialists, gives me the opportunity to learn something new every day! I am very grateful for the diverse population we serve as it gives me to continue working with bilingual families which is one of my passions.

We are a fast paced company that provides incredible care mostly to children with special needs. I love that my non clinical work makes an impact on our patients/clients daily.  What I really appreciate about the company and leadership team is that we are always striving to create the best experience for both patients and clinicians alike.  

Recently started doing random observations, even on 1099 independent contractors. So beware, even if fully certified SLP, you will receive 'recommendations' on how to improve your sessions based on 30 minute observation. Colleague was told by Senior SLP that observations were to be 1x month regardless if W-2 or 1099 status. 

High turnover of staff. No raises or increase for cost of living- the unfortunate standard for all therapy jobs. If you are a 1099 employee you are not paid for no-shows or late cancellations. The company however does charge the client, you just don't get any of the money- which is unfair. Decent work life balance being remote when compared to other speech therapy jobs.
