I have been a C.N.A. for many years and have never seen a place with such poor management. With state in the building a nurse argued verbally with a hospitality aide. The nurses will refuse to help the aides even when it is part of their job to witness such. You will not be able to place this facility on your resume due to the overall negative reputation. All current aides are unhappy due to them buying the facility as it used to be state run and not honoring the former wages. Unless you want a job you will hate do not work here. I would recommend any other facility. They will try to bribe you with sign on bonuses and new competitive wages but it is a facade for unhappiness. All current employees I keep in touch with are leaving. The nurses are rude to the aides and will not even treat any aide like a person. The way residents are treated are deplorable. I never witnessed any aide document. Showers were rarely given. You will always work short and no other aide will help. DO NOT WORK HERE.

As an LPN, your day is always busy.  Staff assistance is nowhere to be found. No one will stay long enough here due to management. You only get spoken to if you make any mistakes.  Administration/Corporate only goal is to have a high census. They do not care about Nurse to patient ratio. They do not care about staff getting breaks or getting supplies that are needed to complete daily tasks. See for yourself and speak to residents that are awake and oriented that have nowhere else to go.  If you have a strong feeling, reasoning, or proof that the patient you are caring for needs to go to the hospital for evaluation - most likely youre getting a long message or phone call about needing to consult management first. 

As a new LPN, I was shocked by what I experienced here. Patients were left unchanged and not repositioned for hours, basic care was neglected, and support for new nurses was practically nonexistent. Orientation was inadequate, and I often had to track down my preceptor just to ask a question because they were rarely available. When they did show up, it often felt like it was only to point out a mistake rather than teach.

Ironically, when I started at another facility, I learned more in a short time than I did here. I never felt afraid to ask questions or like I had to chase down a nurse for guidance.

To top it off, there were roaches in the facility. If you're looking for mentorship, support, and a workplace that prioritizes patient care, I'd look elsewhere.


What is the best part of working at the company?
Leaving.. They put on a  show , tell you what you want to hear, and then put it off until it's unbearable.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No supplies and no help. Staff were buying snacks and drinks  for the residents

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Unless you are management, it is mainly Agency.. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sit and get myself together for the residents,  go in to a train wreck with almost zero tools to do the day to day tasks, and leave..

As a licensed individual, it is not a good feeling when you come to work feeling like you can lose it because of the poor management and patient care that this facility provides. Patient care is terrible. No staff ever on time for their shifts (without penalties too). Most of the time.. no staff period. Extremely insane how this facility is still opened. The patients suffer, the families suffer, and the employees suffer. Please do yourselves a favor and don't fall for the welcoming interview by the administrative team.

I've been in medicine since 1998. I have never worked in a place before where I have felt so welcomed before. The management was very welcoming and so was the staff. Yes, things do get crazy in medicine, but the staff that I worked with know teamwork. We would work together. They also not only care for their patients well, they are also caring for their fellow coworkers. The Unit Manager I directly worked under was the best I ever worked under.

i luv helping care for all the residents/paitints it the only place wear it a real learning experiense becuse i get to work with pepole of all ages and types. i find that the manigment realy cares about the staff and the residents. They keep improving and they actuly lisen to our recomindations and get us what we need for us to be able to give the bestist care posibile.
i am gonna tell all my frends to come work here .
also they pay so much and they ofer overtime and bonises that really help.

I have been with this company since the first year they took over. There is plenty of room for growth and family like feeling.

Just your average healthcare stress that you would find anywhere.

Welcoming and open-door policy for all from the Administrator down

Very tough place to work with minimal help offered. Management on all levels lacks communication and is very unprofessional. Obvious prioritization of specific patients based on their insurance reimbursement rates and who a patient knows.
