They practice does a good job of collecting young, intelligent, and innovative people who could be a great team when managed correctly. You will learn a lot about what to do and not to do from the colleagues around you and make friends for life.

The practice is also amazing to their patients. Patients do get better while the staff suffers in other ways.

Upper management is borderline abusive to their employees. They expect you to be all for the company without work/life balance or that is a great excuse not to let you grow. Each day employees are cursed at, talked down to, publicly yelled at/embarrassed (even in front of patients), having their job threatened to be replaced, or just being told stuff like"you're stupid" or "we never should have hired you". Upper management is also super uncomfortable to talk to for any reason both physically and mentally. People are scared to stand up to this behavior because of the environment. When people make noise about how they feel, they will offer something and then go back to the same behavior a week later. There is also no trust given to any employee. One person, in particular, will change stories around to always look like they are doing better than the masses to the boss, who also is constantly in an angered state. 

They will ask things of you that may cause discomfort or unnecessary stress, which they take as "not an excuse”. Your job description can change at any moment in time to job requirements that you do not know how to do and are vocal about not doing. 

Patients see how the staff feels about their work environment and do ask what is happening behind closed doors. The majority of employees have the same things to say but upper management refuses to listen to the masses, and instead will not change. This causes a revolving door or great and intelligent people to come in and out. 

My day normally starts with checking emails and going over my list I have for each provider- gather the proper documentations and send them to the insurance companies if need be. Once that is complete, I move on to my next task which is following up with any patient's insurance to see if they have met any of their capped visit limits. 
I learned that you must pace yourself in doing your assigned tasks and always making time for everything since there are times you might have more than one thing to do at a time- multitasking is a must!
When it comes to management, not all of them are friendly and that is okay- a little good with the bad. The managers I previously had before the pandemic were the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Post pandemic- I did have some issues with the new supervisor I was assigned but thankfully I was switched into another department and office altogether and my current manager is amazing! 
The current workplace culture at this office is definitely more relaxed and a lot more free-spirited than the other offices I was in. This office is willing to do that they need to do to make the patient's happy and keep a healthy work environment going, they truly are a tight knit family looking out for each other.
The hardest part of my job would probably be communication across the board with admin conservative and medical, therapy providers and medical providers- not everyone is always on the same page and it can cause some confusion on the back end.
The best part of my job would be the people I work with and genuinely doing what I like to do when it comes to work!

Picture walking into the office, coffee in hand after your usual commute. A little tired from the morning drive? 
You enter, and you're greeted by enthusiastic co-workers, people who you actually like, not just like, but admire. People who ask you about your weekend, know you as a person, can tell if you're having a rough day or an on point day. They are PTs, OT, Chiros, ATs, exercise physiologist, Acupuncturist, medical doctors, and care coordinators.  Up beat music starts playing as you exchange quips with fellow coworkers. The next few minutes everyone will quickly discuss any concerns for cotreats. Patients trickle or sometimes flood in. Music bumping, patients and staff joking, all while delivering the best care around in a professional manner. Here you will have mentors, friends, and technology to keep you developing as a a provider of care. Here you will come in early, and work late. The expectations are high but so is the progress with patients, and results in personal and professional development. This is not a job for everyone, I will be honest. This is not a job for people who want to be good, this is a job for people who seek greatness. We demand excellence in patient care, and resiliance in efforts to get people better faster. You will be tired, but you will love what you do, and be effective. If this sounds like what you're looking for then apply!

I would not recommend anyone to work at this establishment. The way upper management talks to employees is definitely something to be ashamed of. You are treated poorly for a very low wage...Overall it is not worth the stress you go through for such little money you make. The only good thing about working there just like the other reviewers said were the providers as well as the staff. I definitely have made friends for a lifetime and I wouldn't have had this if it weren't for NJSW.

Their Slogan is "Get Better Faster" but if you need to go to an appointment and cant make it in or call out they will make you feel bad for it and the next day you will have to do twice as much work.

These are the cons of the job:
Schedule is constantly changing
Your job duties are constantly changing and more work everyday with no compensation/appreciation for all the work you do
They are constantly hiring because of high turnover, so you will be hired within a day or 3 minutes into your interview
Management is the absolute worst, they curse at employees, and if something doesn't change they will keep having turnover
If you enjoy being treating like dirt and working in a toxic environment then this is the place for you, I have never worked in an establishment as badly run as this practice..Good Luck!

Healthcare is an every evolving industry, and sometimes as a clinician you are only as good as the team around you. This is where NJSW excels, bar non. Without a doubt this company, and the people within it, will advance you as a healthcare provider. The people you work with will become lifelong friends and mentors. You will seemingly learn more than you ever did in you academic career, and most importantly you will experience the thrill of watching patients progress and become a healthier version of themselves due to your effort. I cannot sing the praises of my co-workers enough, and if you are new into a healthcare field, looking to learn or looking just looking for a healthy work environment, than NJSW is a great place for you. Every company has their weakness' though, and with NJSW it stems from those you don't usually come in contact with. There are some company policies that seem fairly counterproductive, and historically employees have had issues with management. I hope to see more positive changes coming from this side of the company as they do seem to be aware of these problems. Wages are also a concern, but if you put in the time and effort I believe this company will reward you, just need nudging in the right direction.

This department I worked in was one of the most toxic places I have ever been. You are expected to work long hours with very little pay. Employees are consistently needed to stay in-office well beyond office hours. If employees put a hard deadline on leaving the office at the actual work hours, management bullies them and shames them for doing so and has one on one talks stating that they are not “working hard enough” or that they need to work harder. Previous employees have stated they began to exhibit early signs of depression. Company has no concern or compassion for dedicated loyal employees. No upward mobility or concrete career development. Management picks and chooses favorites. Work is not distributed evenly. Management will literally set you up if you are not constantly kissing up to them. They are more concerned with the quantity of claims rather than the quality. Employees are too busy trying to make a quota for the day instead of getting the issue resolved. Training is very minimal, management constantly gossips about other employees. 

Of all the bad companies this is by far one of the worst companies to ever work for. They will single you out and treat you unfairly if you try to stand up for yourself or complain to HR.  All staff members are not treated equally and you will see this for yourself within the first few weeks of employment. Certain employees get away with stuff that other employees would get fired for. Management is vile. When asked questions from management you will almost never get a clear answer. Management literally sets you up to fail on purpose. Productivity is always low because employees don’t have the materials to meet their quota and when brought to managements attention the blame falls back on employees. If employees are getting along and forming genuine friendships management doesn’t like it, so they create drama between employees by setting them against each other. Gossiping at all times.  No compassion or really even personal interest shown from management at all times. Please consider this and determine whether this environment and culture is for you. The stay here seems to be about a year or two this place isn’t worth it at all. 


You walk in to work, and everyone is happy to see you. Everyone is saying hello to each other and genuinely glad to see one another. You clock in, and prep the day with collaboration about patient flow and patient care, getting ready to set each person that comes in on the path to success. Once the patients roll in, the upbeat music is BUMPIN'. The energy is high all day long. Patients and staff are having a great time while remaining profession and focused on patient outcomes. Everyone is working together and communicating about the patients. You have frequent meetings and mentorship throughout the week with senior/lead staff members, and directors to assist with personal growth. You are treating and learning with a full marketing staff and call center who know you personally to make sure your schedule is full of patients that fit your niche or interests. Anything you need from equipment to advice is at your finger tips.

NJ Spine and Wellness has helped me grow so much as a person and as a leader ! You constantly learn more and more each day at work. I have learned so much from working at NJSW - from insurances / authorizations to taking a deeper diver to understanding patients injuries and what I can do to help them achieve the best possible outcome. Management was always helpful and there to lend a helping hand. I learned a lot from my managers and directors, from learning how to properly do tasks at the front desk to  understanding more of the medical side of all situations. It can be a stressful, high paced environment, but it a rewarding job when you see patients getting better and knowing you were a part of it. The staff is great and you start to feel like a second family. Every location has their own vibe, but all employees are always in good spirits and there to help each other. I have been with the company for a few years and I am grateful to work in a company that puts the patient first and does good by their employees.
