Top thing, the coworkers. Some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. 

Everything else was absolutely astonishing. The management would shout and berrate you everyday for stuff that, 97% of the time, was not the operator's fault. 

Management would walk around and make it look like they were doing stuff, but in reality they were chatting amongst themselves or arguing with operators and machine repair people on whether or not the machine that person was working on actually worked or not (which in my time there, i called Repair everyday and a lot of the time they took the machine down for that day or longer). 

HR was unhelpful and quite rude about any issues that would be brought to them and made the company experience into a "stay out of the higher-ups way" job with no one other than your peers to talk to, but that never helped promote change. 

You could be making anything from hockey helmets, to parts of power tools, to medical parts. At the beginning of the day you get your machine assignment and you could be making the same thing for weeks or you could be making something different every day. 

There was always overtime when I was there. I worked 6 day weeks more often than not so burn out is common. Be ready to work hard, often standing all day, and work weekends. The paychecks were decent because you get time and a half for overtime.

There's a high turnover rate, especially with the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Because of this and the fact that they employ temps, after you've worked there for a while you will often be training new people.

A typical day at work would be you have to be there before 11;15pm any time after that you were late, wen you get to work theirs a person telling you what number machine you going be on for the night, you work from 11:15pm to 7:45 am you'll learn how to work the machine you know what kinda parts youll making it would be a guide telling you what to do at your machine tells you how fast the machine goes and what you be making, the hardest part about the job is the people they people there are not friendly its like they try to get you in trouble then helping you, i didn't enjoy there overnight manger dave wartz is not a good manger, im looking forward to a new and better job, i want indeed to help me with finding  employment.

A typical day is get your work instructions and head to your workstation.
You can learn something new every day at work because most jobs are different than the last.
Management is nice caring and willing to work with you.
There is a very diverse culture of many different nationalities.
The hardest part of the job is when machine breaks down.
The most enjoyable part of the job is showing up at work happy and leaving happy and a smooth night.


It's my third day this is my early assessment.  The work isn't to bad once you pick it up, but there is hardly any training the higher ups expect you to understand what your doing by a getting an explanation from the guy working on the station before you  and off directories on a sheet and the shift supervisors will have you sing off on that you read the directions so they can be mean to you if something goes wrong. 
Fellow co-workers are nice for the most part though there is quite a bit of drama. I would only apply if you have thick skin or really need the money. And even then look fir a new job whole you are here 

Didn't work there for long... I was at the 105 Elmore dr. location. Long story short, I got the job through Remedy Staffing and Alliance decided they didn't want to keep me, for reasons unknown. The supervisors seem to have had some attitude issues, and were unforgiving when i made mistakes on my first 2 days. They also seemed to be bothered when questions were asked... I felt shade the whole time. And I just really didn't like the work. Very little room for error...

This company makes many different product for lots of companies. One day you can make plastic parts bowling pins and the next day you can be making helmets. The machines need to run so they are vey strict with attendance and rules. Overall most people are nice to work with and want to help you do your job. now that I have a job doing the same thing everyday I miss seeing all the different parts they made

Alliance was Formally Amplaco. 
Amplaco was a great place to work.
Family owned and very personable!
Easy to talk to anyone for any problem.
Many classes to all employees for training.

Training then speed was the way they wanted it. It was more important for Quality and the speed  would happen.
 
Amplaco would do a lot of cross training to eliminate too much of the same repetitive motion!!.   

Many classes on ergonomics!!  

I did not work for Alliance for to long after the bought the businesses.
They were doing a lot of down sizing

Like dog poo awful place font work there save yourself

You know just being treated like complete sh---it is awesome

Alliance was not a bad place to work overall. However; they tend to have a lot of favoritism, and poor raises, even for their best workers. I learned a lot of new skills while employed  there. There were no had jobs for me, being I mastered any job assignment I was placed on. My yearly review said; " I went above and beyond their expectations."
