I love working at Alteris! Overall, it’s a relatively small, flat and agile company full of great people and a strong culture of excellence and trust. The level of structure is generally less than average (particularly in regard to roles and responsibilities), which tends to work best for people who are comfortable being self-driven problem solvers (such as myself) and makes it possible for them to grow quickly. Project teams are typically interdepartmental, scarce on silo mentalities and full of team players.
My direct supervisor is a phenomenal leader, particularly in terms of being proactive about scheduling, two-way feedback, professional development, work-life balance and even salary increases.

I was fortunate to have an internship with Alteris Group LLC. for the summer, and learned an exceptional amount from the experience. This company truly cares for each and every employee and goes above and beyond for both clients and staff. The culture and work-life balance are truly a breathe of fresh air, and create a great collaborative work environment. The upper management is understanding, driven and motivating. This company truly strives to deliver the best possible work/services to their clients while maintaining an unrivaled family-like atmosphere. I was constantly inspired, engaged and amazed by the people and at the work that is done here.

My manager was wonderful and understood her team and our needs. The most enjoyable parts of the job were the collaborations within my specific team and learning from others. 

The most challenging part of the job was what makes all agency work challenging--helping clients understand what the agency does for them. It's part of every agency experience...not just Alteris Group. 

Workplace culture was kind. Smart people with lots of integrity and innovative. If you are a self-starter, you will enjoy the atmosphere and the culture.

Alteris Group is a very family-like organization that appreciates their employees. You are treated like a person rather than a number. Every employee counts and can make a difference in this organization. There is a lot of growth availability even if this is not currently in your line of work. Besides professional growth, it is also a great opportunity to grow personally. They provide you the tools to do that. 

Overall they are just an amazing company, one that you don't come across very often. I love working here!

Self directed and program management driven at the same time

This company had the worst work/ life balance, was extremely boring and had outdated working conditions. Pay was fair but that was it. Vacation was minimal. They still stuff people in cubes for 8 hours a day, had double standards for certain employees, and some employees talk colleagues down to build themselves up. 
Company lacked communication with employees and isolation was common. 


Alteris stands for accountability, leadership, teamwork, excellence, results driven, integrity, and solutions-oriented. I enjoy not only these things about Alteris but the flexibility and variety of projects at Alteris.
