As someone who was new to Home Healthcare I learned so many things since taking this job and everyday is different! I love that I have the autonomy to run my market as I see fit, my executive leadership team is open to new ideas and quick to implement positive change. They're very supportive of my ADHD and my desire to continue uously improve inclusivity and understanding for our disabled staff and the culture is such that I never feel lile I have to mask who I am to be accepted. The hardest part of the job is handling all the emotions that both clients and staff feel due to the nature of the work. The best part of the job is having the opportunity to co next with so many amazing people, all with different talents and gifts. I learn as much from my staff as they learn from me and that reciprocity and harmony are incredible!

The coordinators are great they respond very quickly and are readily accessible. And the overall management is very organized, courteous and nice. But they forget about you if you don't keep calling and hassling them to get a case. And most of their cases are in long Island and far away places, based on my personal experience with them which is another con for me since I live in the bronx. I've been with them 3 years. And for a great money making private insured company, they pay a disheartening low minimum wage with NO other benefits, which I didn't know prior nor would expect based on the clients and cases they receive. Overall not a bad company but just comes with a lot of cons. 

Where do I start with this company? Let’s talk about false promises and fake people. As a recruiter for this cheap company, I went from having the liberty to pay good caregivers a competitive wage to being forced to offer them the minimum wage.

As a recruiter, I’ve seen people in my department (including myself) leave after a few months. Upper management likes to throw recruitment under the bus when their cases are not staffed or were poorly staffed ESPECIALLY when upper management chooses to accept cases that are practically impossible to staff.

If my job was dependent on finding a male RN in the middle of rural Westchester County, then I would have emailed my resignation letter in a heartbeat.

The company is small and growing very quickly, with a management that is clearly interested in keeping everybody aware and grounded of the company goals. The team mentality extends to the atmosphere here as well; positively minded and quick paced. Compensation and benefits are not competitive, and the hours are not very flexible, but I am not the best source on this, as I am still technically a contractor set to go full time at some point.

It was a good place to work. Very accommodating can say as a company it is an extremely good company. Each site would have its own culture and you would need to see how you as a person and professional would fit in that culture. I sympathize with the changes and modernization our latest CEO has brought to the organization. As any company, not everything is perfect. For the most part, there are mechanisms to make sure that things are done correctly from every standpoint, however, there are instances where these mechanisms are not effective

You are  allowed to  negotiate  your  pay b4 taking the  job  offer  for the  case

When  you are  calling   coordinators for  work, it takes a long time  for  them to  respond

Good, you are  not  forced to do anything  against  your  will 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The  day l went to  take  care of a  patient and I  had to wait for  an  hour  before I  was opened to  the  patient  room to  start  work

One day I had a patient on my floor  it was a lady, she was so happy because I did  good care for her that  mean; she was happy and I was too.The most important thing l learn how to make a dressing. They have a good management, every body respects theirs culture, the job is fine l enjoy every where l work.[
I enjoyed to care my patients. And be on time. 

Very tense and stressful environment. Constant changes occurring like job titles and roles and tasks assigned to you. Very overwhelming. There is no culture and though I can say they will try to do nice things for people no one attends or wants to participates because the feeling is that it is not genuine. So many people come and go it makes it hard to trust and get attached. Would not recommend this working for this small and chaotic company.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The company doesn’t have the capacity of home healthcare aides to service their clients leaving them without the care they need. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management not doing what they said they’d do. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Their work environment and culture is rather unimpressive.

This is a fast-paced growing business with great management and really nice people  

Awesome opportunity to learn about the booming home care industry as well as how a small business operates  

Startup company = days can be extremely busy but work hours typically range from 9am-5pm

Management truly cares about its employees and rewards them for outstanding work
