Working at Always On Call isn't just a job, it is an active learning environment full of encouragement and amazing support. The job can seem stressful at times, however, the leadership team is always there to help you, AND allows you to take a moment to collect yourself if you are overwhelmed, which no other job has done for me before. This job is more than a position to me, it's a purpose to aid others in ways most don't think about. The company culture is phenomenal, the benefits are customizable, and we are decorated in awards for our excellent customer service. I learn new things every day, even after being here for years. Everyone is here to help you and guide you to be the best version of yourself for customer service, and it's so pleasant to see the teamwork come together. There is no I in TEAM here!

It is not a typical call center. It’s nice to work for a company that isn’t just based on numbers. I know and like everyone I work with for the most part. Even being family owned, the pay and benefits are just as good if not better than corporate. This place doesn’t have the employee drama and petty politics of big call centers. If you need anything, you can always go to management, but everything is in the handbook and they follow it to prevent favoritism. I am one of the managers now (started as an operator) and can say they are more concerned with providing a caring and professional caller experience vs other places I have worked who rushes you to take as many calls as you can.

Not a lot a patience for new hires, considering it’s a lot to learn, like getting shot right out of a cannon from the get go. Passive aggressive attitude in an office professional demeanor. You’re not given the opportunity to do well so much as you’re worked to the point where things don’t go as smoothly as they should as often as they should, if you’re a part time position. You’ll dedicate yourself to learning the process, just wind up being treated like garbage when you fail to become their view of flawless in short order. Don’t waste your time trying with this job if you’re not a desperate person in a hopeless situation, because it’s just not worth effort. 

I feel secure in my job. The training is thorough and trainers and management are helpful. Call times can get busy but there is great teamwork . Pay is decent for the industry and raises are given yearly along with bonuses sometimes.  This job does require reliability and punctuality . They also like to promote from within so it is easy to advance if you want to.. and once you finish your training in the office you can work from home . All in all it is a great place to work. I feel like management cares for their employees and recognize good work.

I enjoy my job here. The training is hands on and they prepare you for the job. Pay raises are regular and based on your quality of work. There are several different shifts Morning, afternoon and overnights to choose from. The employees are great and we are like a family. Management is amazing and has an open door policy.  After training at the office, you have the option to work from home if you qualify and most do. We all work together as a team which makes any high call volume easier. All in all, It is a great place to work , especially if you want something long term . 

I love being able to help the person calling that needs assistance whether it is someone without heat or air conditioning,  someone’s pet needing emergency help, someone needing directions or obituary information on a funeral home line. Being that compassionate voice on the other end of the line to help no matter what they are calling about. Treating callers and clients how I would want to be treated.

Love working for family owned company where you’re not just a number and they care about their employees.  They don’t allow rude or abusive callers.  Like any job, it gets busy at times, but the flexibility of working from home is great.  Great health benefits, shift differential, included disability and life insurance, 401k, and bonuses.  

This is such a satisfying place to work. There is room for advancement. The pay is good, the benefits are even better. The job itself, while not hard, is mentally demanding. Management is very approachable and friendly. While the business is professional, its a very family oriented environment. You can work in office or remotely after training, which is nice. 

This place was terrible! They are so unorganized. You get 5 different people training you 5 different ways. Shifts are first come serve but they make sure you work a weekend though!  Your pay is based off how many calls and the average of call they get a day. They are extremely messy in their group teams. 

The team is what saves this company and they still treat you like garbage. They do not care if you have medical issues and extremely sick. Even with doctors note each time. Trainings a joke and then they get mad when you make mistakes.
