What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at this company is that they are one of the still personable companies around you can actually speak to a live person, they are located in an actual building, the still use actual paper. The managing staff are pretty respectable, for the most part. It's always felt like a family environment when I engage in contacting them which is so important to me. I believe that's what gives businesses longevity and a good foundation. I believe they operate by a " you reap what you sew, but with much grace", method. And I believe God honors that and that's key to anything that really survives! Thanks for listening.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I've honestly have never felt stress with this company . At times I thought I felt a little favoritism but I've felt that at every other place I've ever worked at in my life and I found it the least with them. And even if they've ever had to tell me no or yes about anything it's always been in a respectful manner.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Although I'm not sure whose all actually family there, Ive always felt a God fearing family environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not much to say about that because I just call or text looking for work and they respond with work.

- A typical day for me included coming in and starting with my daily payroll duties, once finished I would then move onto various tasks that needed completed that immediate day.
- I learned everything on payroll, finance, and customer service
- Management was amazing
- The environment was very warm and welcoming to newcomers and understanding in difficult times, easy to work with everyone.
- Hardest part of the job was the end of the month tasks and end of year getting ready for taxes
-most enjoyable part of the job was the people and the easy going environment.

I loved working for this place and still do however the hours are not solid and work is never guaranteed. It's a fun and comfortable company to work for. It gives you the ability to travel and to learn new skills from different places. The wages are very good they start you out at a very generous wage. I love their payment system you can get paid weekly or daily. All in all a great place to work.

This is the most unprofessional agency place to work. They go back & forth with u if u have a issue with anything, they talk 2 u very reckless because they know nothing going 2 happen with them even if there wrong. And they dont take any federal taxes out your pay, but then tell u were suppose to let them know what we want taking out ,even though u fill out the form like any other job 2 take federal out. This place is the worst .

Agency work is not for everybody. You will be treated poorly and 9/10, you will get the worst section and no help. Many times I would pick up shifts and when I arrived, they said i wasn't on the schedule, which cost me time and money. They do have "favorites" that they give hours to. People that work in the office are very rude and unorganized. Most days it looks like a daycare because they bring their kids to work. They charge the facilities $10+ more than what they're paying you and often times your check will be wrong.

Years ago when I started with this company they were one of a few. Now there are so many better staffing agencies. This places pays the lowest and truly doesn't care about you as an individual. The office staff is rude and its ran by a money hungry woman who knows nothing about nursing and drinks beers at the office meetings. Office staff are allowed to being their kids in but will dock us pay if we as nurses and stnas have sitter issues. 

American Medical Personnel of Canton, OH only Staffs STNA/LPN/RN someone wrote a neg. review which upset me since I know what a fab company this is. I've been employed here for 12 years and all 12 have been great. It's family run, with family values. The Scheduler's are great, the facilities friendly, great bonuses, great pay. I recommend to anyone I meet to come work for AMP.

What can I say its agency staffing. sometimes they have work, sometimes they don't. You take a chance of being cancelled if the company does not need you but once again its agency. The more reliable and steady you are the more calls you will get. Some of the facilities are great and the staff helpful, some are holes in the wall and the staff are rude. You must be comfortable in your own nursing skill or you will not be able to do this job.

Been with this company for 16 years, love the flexibility, support, professionalism, and most of all, the family feel.  If your going to work agency, this is definitely the one you want to work for. Office staff are personable and always have a smile. They also really seem to enjoy working with each other, and love their jobs.

Very flexible. Make own schedule and pay is great. Not a whole lot if negative things to say about this company. Oh and you get paid the next day on a card or straight into bank account.
