What is the best part of working at the company?
Willowbrook is a home for our residents that feels like a home with caring employees that are suited for their particular jobs. All of the employees are caring and hard working. We make sure all of our residents needs are addressed and we provide activities that stimulate all the senses. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When a resident has an issue that is out of our control as we care for them deeply and we want the best for them. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Team work/ family / home style atmosphere. We  provide lots of gatherings throughout the year and on holidays with the residents/ families and employees with food and live music from local musicians and enjoy our time together. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
First we come in and greet our residents marking sure their needs are met. I am a medication assistant so I start going through there medication and organize before I start making rounds. I go to each room and find out how they're doing while I prepare their medications and personal aid. When I am finished with rounds I go to the kitchen and check with the chef to get ready for our dining experience I go to each table and find out what they want to drink and see what choice of meal they prefer. You will get to know each resident and there preference and if they eat a lot or a little. I will bring out a dessert tray and then clear plates and glasses and make sure those that need a walker have them so they are free to go off in the directions that they want. We now get to have a home cooked meal with our team members and discuss things of importance and see how everyone is doing. After our break I  go back to the medication room and get the next round of medication for those who are scheduled. I will check to see who needs laundry done and make sure it gets done. We check on our residents every couple of hours to make sure they are ok and their needs are met and by about this time it's time to go to my home.

Working as an Administrator at Pioneer has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. A typical day is fast-paced and requires balancing multiple priorities, supporting staff, ensuring quality resident care, managing operations, and staying connected with families. No two days are the same, which keeps the role engaging and meaningful.

In this role, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability, strong communication, and leading with compassion. I’ve had a wonderful experience working with AmeriCare Senior Living. One of the things that stands out most is the genuine family atmosphere. Team members truly care about one another, and that sense of support extends to the residents as well. It creates a warm, welcoming environment that makes coming to work each day meaningful.

I have to say I do not have very many stress times, probably just wanting to be more and do more.

The work environment at AmeriCare Senior Living is warm, supportive, and rooted in a true sense of family. It’s a place where people genuinely care about one another, both personally and professionally, which fosters a rewarding and uplifting workplace.

During my time at Ashbrook.. the residents are what kept me going. Management is very lazy and will ORDER you to come into work to cover a shift. Will not come onto the floor. Allows employees to work after proof of unsafe working environment and no repercussions. Residents are paying a ridiculous around of money a month to receive mediocre care because Turnover rates, poor management, and pure ignorance. Staff expected to do their titled job, as well as others jobs with no compensation. I.e CMAs work in Dietary, housekeeping, activities, nursing, and are also required to complete various other tasks as well as provide exceptional care for your residents. Unfortunately, the facility is labeled a Assisted living facility and does not adhere to those standards as they accept residents who should be in a skilled facility. We were not properly trained to provide care for the more equipped residents accepted into the facility. 
Management cares little to none about personal health and issues and does not provide employees with the tools and resources to be successful just resorts to Yelling and Degrading their employees and expects them to “just know” things. When coming forth with a complaint you’re told something will be done and it never is. When state comes in you have to change everything you’re trained to do to adhere to state guidelines. If state is there for a filed complaint, you’re expected to make it seem like nothing when it actually is something.. 
Overall I would rate this place a 2 and that’s only because the residents know more than management thinks, and were always so kind and supportive knowing that the staff is not treated how they should be. 

No day is the same and we get to work with multiple families and make multiple connections. Knowing that many families put their trust in me regarding the care, life decisions, recommendations on what is the right fit is rewarding.  I have learned a great deal on how to converse with my seniors, especially those suffering from memory issues.  If I knew 10 years ago what I know now, I would have done things much differently with my loved ones. It is comforting to know that management is there anytime I shall need, whether it is a work question or personal question.  I never have to wait long for any advice or help.  I am always encouraged to take care of my own family first and praised and encouraged on a daily basis.  Americare is all about family and that carries over to working with everyone is the community on a daily basis.  Pay is on par with the industry, and the benefits provided with paid time off, the ability cash out vacation hours for extra holiday money,  tuition reimbursement programs, and many other benefits far exceed expectations. Coming to work is a joy when you care and enjoy the ones you work with. There is a vast difference in working with family than working with coworkers, and it shows everyday when I am at work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Here at Moran Manor the staff is very friendly and supportive, creating a positive work environment. The department leadership team is excellent and always willing to step in and help on the floor when needed, which shows strong teamwork. The workplace is also very family-oriented, making it feel welcoming and understanding. Another very rewarding aspect is the opportunity to work closely with residents and their families—building those relationships has a meaningful impact on us as caregivers and makes the work we do feel truly important every day.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Frequent staff call-ins can sometimes create challenges with coverage and increase the workload for others.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is  supportive, and very team-oriented. Staff members are friendly, and leadership sets a great example by stepping in on the floor when needed. The culture is very family-oriented, not only among coworkers but also in the relationships built with residents and their families. This creates a meaningful and rewarding atmosphere where caregivers feel valued and connected to the people they care for. While staffing challenges can arise at times, the team works together to support each other and ensure residents receive quality care.

The residents truly are the best part part of working at Heritage Hall.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
One of the best parts of this job is the coworkers. I’ve been lucky to work with an amazing team that is supportive, hardworking and always willing to help each other out. Having awesome coworkers makes even the most stressful shifts more manageable and creates a positive environment for both staff and residents.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working at Heritage Hall has been a very personal and eye-opening experience for me. Everyday I get the opportunity to care for residents who rely on me not only for physical assistance, but also for emotional support. Building relationships with them has been one of the most meaningful parts of my job-I’ve learned their stories, their routines, and what brings them comfort, which makes the work seem purposeful. I take pride in being someone they can trust and depend on. Whether it’s helping with daily activities, assisting with their recovery, or simply sitting and listening, I know that even the smallest actions can make a big difference in their day. Moments like seeing a resident regain strength or smile after a tough day remind me why I chose this field.

A typical day at The Arbors would consist of making sure arriving on time receiving report from previous shift begin to make sure all residents are taken care of ( their needs) being on your feet exceeding every task or accomplishment and thriving t o make even just a small difference in someone's life for that day and to do it all again the next day and so forth. I have learned their comes alot of pain in helping others whom struggle to keep what knowledge they have left. How it can all just go away so fast. Management here at The Arbors is outstanding I absolutely love them all here so helpful and will listen and help stratigize in what can be done to make life and work place better. They include us( the employees) in everything we do and will help in whatever situation is at hand.  They actually care for you and your well being! Great team Work. 
The hardest part of my job is watching everyday how some of our residents  slowly  slip away their mind  leaves them some for a Lil some is permanent it's a very sad thing to see. It hurts your soul. The most enjoyable part is knowing I have made impact, a mark in their lives and that I can be there to see that they enjoy the rest of their time while they are here a smile tells a thousand words it is a wonderful  thing.
