They talk about doing gods work, making a difference in people’s lives, the talk is great. But when it comes to getting them the treatments, care, or services they need. Nope unless it with their preferred vendors or services no one else is allowed in. When a company renting space in the building is treated better than the employees that speaks volumes, when they are giving access to the company crm and software way before employees what does that tell you. They don’t value their employees, your thoughts, beliefs and opinions mean nothing to them but a company giving them $200 in rent means more. They say a man or in this case a company is only as good as its word. Well they talk a big game but it’s just talk. They don’t care about the well being of the residents. They just want their money, if they get care or services then they go if not oh well. 

Pretty sad from a company whose owner supposedly worked as a high up person for LCS. You would have thought he would know how to do the right thing. Make a difference in the residents lives not ignore their needs. 

The place is absolutely terrible, the management are terrible with communication with employees and residents, the whole corporation and management are connected and you can't even report management to corporate about their attitudes, you'll be overworked to the bone, management and corporate don't care if you're overworked either, they always diminish your facts and blame you for residents leaving, not doing enough care, and make you feel guilty.  Also having you work by yourself on the floor with two medtechs which takes 90% of the shift and you'll already be done with the hard parts, and you have to do laundry in your shift, take care of memory care residents and bedridden residents, you're pretty much working at a nursing home
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that no one works for this scummy company, it's all a sham, you will be mentally and physically drained, very unprofessional, doesnt even communicate about residents having Covid, they'll tell like an employee and expect that employee to relay that to all the others 

The residents are amazing and they are flexible on scheduling. If you are looking for anything else in a job don’t work at angels senior living connerton. Management will harass you to pick up shifts, will not give raises if you don’t pick up overtime, hire people after you at higher pay & wont even give you the time to talk about a raise even after you asked. On top of that management “works” about 3-4 hours a day they have no appreciation for their employees. They let people walk all over them & call out all the time leaving you by yourself with no help. If you are sick or have an emergency they will give you a bass tune about calling out even if you never do but they allow certain people to. All of management has family working there (favoritism). They expect people to work 8-16 hour shifts with no breaks. They will only be your “friend” if you pick up overtime. They don’t care about the residents or you as an employee it is disgusting how they run this place. 

I have been with Angels Senior Living for a few years now and proudly exemplify the company's greatest attribute. That attribute is the forward and upward career progression is available to those that work hard, have success, and want to grow. These personal growths are facilitated by an organization that has grown leaps and bounds in just a few years. Importantly, the owners are involved on a daily basis. They truly learn their staff and understand strengths and weaknesses for team building. The only negative is sometimes things can happen quickly or without much structure. This is due to the growth the company has experienced. While things run smoothly overall some people have come from other organizations and their personality does not quite fit with the entrepreneurial nature of this organization.

This place tries to portray itself as something it's not. they claim it is a "Resort Like" environment for the residents. What a complete lie! These residents pay a minimum of $5000 per month and the price goes up from there depending on the amount of care needed. They do nothing for the residents. It's absolutely shameful. The management is unbelievably unprofessional. they sit in their front offices all day yucking it up about their personal issues. They never interact with with the residents unless it's for a photo op, or if there's a major
 issue (and, if they can pry themselves away from their gossip session). All they care about is the bottom dollar, not the residents. They screw their staff over on a regular basis. I have been in healthcare for 40 years. This is by far the worst place I've ever worked at. I feel bad for the residents that have to live there.

Zero leadership and upper management and the owners not caring too

Very stressful..no structure...no leadership and not having what was needed for the residents..including meals and supplies for them...upper management Always cutting hours and budget

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Doing my job and helping others do there's because we we're Always shorthanded..worked 2 years with no raise and paid out of my pocket buying items needed for the residents..kitchen etc and using my car/gas too

Im not going to go on a rant here but I will say that if you work for this company prepare to be very overworked and underpaid. The management staff has no idea what they are doing and plays favoritism with the staff. They always claim that they cant hire more staff (it's usually one med tech and one care aide per department which is ridiculous) because "the census is low" but yet the census being low literally had nothing to do with the workload, its always way too much for two people to do efficiently. I used to enjoy working for this company but ever since the ED moved on to corporate this place has gone way downhill with the new ED because she is inexperienced. Also you wont get any overtime so dont expect any. Work here at your own risk

This facility has the worst management in healthcare! They hire administrators in training for the AIT-program, only to use them as floor staff- & never actually train them to do anything! The revolving door for staff/AIT/residents is astonishing!! The residents struggle to receive their meds and proper care, due to lack of support to the floor staff from management who sit in their offices LOL- about drinking/dating or go outside to smoke. Staff never get breaks! Yet all 3- hens in the offices get breaks that last upwards of an hour! Corporate has been made aware of these issues but show no care! Some the ED brings in $$$ 

I was hired as an Activity Director for the Lutz location. I never had email access, I never had printer access. No access to my budget . Most of the time I paid out of pocket. 
Census is low because the care staff are not trained and the D.O.N doesn't care. After all there's a whole network of Nepotism and Cronyism going on and it's impossible to have purpose and meaning in your job when your staff are underwhelmed by performance issues. It's a constant turnover because those in charge lack the SKILLS and know how to restructure so THEY STOP LOSING RESIDENTS. 

Run...from this Job. Trust me.

Locally owned private company.  The owners are just a phone call away if there is an issue.  No corporate bureaucracy to bog down change or progress

Lots of work,  long hours, but which real job isn’t

Good rapport and team work.  Growing changing company

Arrive, clock in, access any changes from last shift.  Start taking care of orders and staff
