I would NOT recommend this job to a friend, relative, or someone I didn't like. Management is not there to help in any way, shape, or form unless they want to drag you down. They play their favorites for sure and do not appreciate the value of an honest and good-working employee who shows up on time, works past their time to complete their work, and has not once called off sick despite a disability they have.

From this job, I learned that no matter how hard you work, even in a team, there is ALWAYS one person who is untrustworthy and one person who will NOT have your back. I also learned that good work is NOT appreciated. The workplace culture is just that, not being rewarded in any way for a job well done, for an improvement, or anything like.  The only GREAT part of this job was that it was remote, I have MS, and I perform so much better in the morning, dare I ever ask to change my hours, NO.  But they pushed me to answer more calls and make more outgoing calls. 

This, of course, made my disability worse. Did I raise a concern? NO, NOT.  I believe that I will have to shop around a little more for a job that is not as abusive as this and that does not play favorites.  They did not supply me with a computer, did not supply me with an additional monitor that they insisted I have, and did not supply me with good earphones that I was required to have.  They never gave me more money, and because I was part-time, they never increased my pay, offered to move me to a new supervisor, or gave me additional time off because I did not take their benefits.



The work-life balance in this role is extremely poor—there really isn’t one. Productivity expectations are consistently pushed to a level that leaves employees feeling overworked, stressed, and exhausted. Advancement opportunities are limited and do not appear to be based on knowledge or performance, but rather on favoritism and personal connections.
Training is minimal, especially when starting or transitioning to a new team, leaving employees to figure things out on their own. While PTO requests are generally approved, the workload is not managed during your absence, causing work to pile up and making time off more stressful than beneficial. The company offers only six holidays, which is below industry standards.
The benefits package is one of the weakest aspects. It is very expensive, with high deductibles and coinsurance, and limited coverage for prescriptions and procedures. Many treatments require pre-authorizations that are frequently denied, adding to employee frustration.
Overall, the organization prioritizes productivity over employee well-being, and leadership tends to favor certain individuals when selecting team leads and senior roles.

I’ve worked some difficult jobs before, and surprisingly, those still felt more manageable than this one.

Every department is in disarray, with little to no meaningful interdepartmental communication or cooperation. The IT team receives almost no clear direction from leadership, while executives spend much of their time in meetings that rarely lead to productive outcomes. Priorities constantly change, risks are not properly addressed. 

I did enjoy my direct team-they were supportive and try to make the best of the situation. Unfortunately, the larger environment was toxic, directionless, and at times demoralizing. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Annuity Health does a good job of promoting from within and throwing tasks at you. There is no shortage of work to do, and we work with new and emerging technologies. The team is very solid internally and we have a good work life balance. I have been consistently challenged and experienced growth in my position, and there are plenty of opportunities to work with interesting technologies. I started at this company as a helpdesk technician, and have been able to grow and learn with the company into my role. The IT supervisor is easy to work with, explains his expectations directly, and is usually available to help. The culture is normally fairly laid back unless there are major deadlines that need to be met. 

The management within the organization is ineffective, with unrealistic expectations and a low salary structure that does not reflect the demands of the role. The workspace lacks professionalism, and the IT Supervisor, in particular, would benefit from being replaced by someone with stronger leadership experience. There was a consistent lack of clear communication and direction from the supervisor, making it difficult to meet undefined expectations. Additionally, a high turnover rate within Human Resources is concerning and may signal deeper organizational issues. Employees should be prepared to take on multiple responsibilities but face significant challenges in achieving meaningful results.

I spend most of my day finding and talking to job candidates, setting up interviews, and working with hiring managers to fill open roles.

I’ve learned how to find the right people for the right jobs, how to communicate clearly, and how to manage time and priorities. My managers are supportive, give helpful feedback, and are open to questions or new ideas.  

The culture is team-oriented, respectful, and focused on helping everyone grow.  The hardest part is keeping up with urgent hiring needs and making sure we still find quality candidates quickly.  

The best part is helping people get jobs and seeing them succeed in their new roles.


Went through literally one full week of what is considered training.  Then thrown to the wolves.  Everything is about hitting numbers, no quality.  Every day you feel like you might be that number that gets picked to released because you’re not meeting numbers daily.  After a the first week of so called training you are given accounts to work and challenging because they are old but you get called if you don’t meet the numbers, weekly.  Don’t matter if you are new and getting your rhythm.  Very unrealistic approach to collecting and getting resolution.  Seems like a set up no support or you feel stupid or like a burden.  I wish I had never walked away from my job for this.  Many regrets. 

The ability to work from home is the biggest (and pretty much only) benefit of working at Annuity Health. It offers flexibility, which is nice, but the overall work experience leaves a lot to be desired.

There’s no real workplace culture—you feel more like a number than a team member. Communication from leadership is poor, and management lacks the skills to support employees effectively. There’s little transparency, and getting clear direction is often a challenge.

Annual raises aren’t guaranteed, and job security is very shaky—you might be let go without much warning or explanation. It’s hard to feel stable or appreciated here. If you’re looking for growth, recognition, or a supportive environment, this probably isn’t the right place.

Management was horrible very rude and unprofessional. All you hear is “Clear the calls” or “why is no one on phones do we need to turn up the call volume” . You can step away from your computer for 1 sec and trust that you will receive a message asking why. You are made to feel more like a number than a team member and I was not placed in the position that I had also originally applied for and was told that I would be getting. If they put you at the last shift you can not clock out until all of the calls are cleared and the lack of support is insane.

This company doesn't care about their employees at all, they didn't give their employees a heads up before letting them go. Some people had bills to pay, mortgages and kids but they just fired them 4 days after Christmas. Very unprofessional and I don't recommend anybody working here. They don't care about the employees at all.   The nerve of this company to put every one that they were firing in one big group chat on Microsoft Teams is absolutely insane.  The people in that group chat didnt know how they was going to take care of their families after that and what a way to bring in the new year. Dont apply for this company.
