You are "in training" for two weeks, but the instruction only lasts about two days. Thereafter, you are on the phones and on your own. Your pay does not increase for two weeks, even though your responsibility has. Management is quick to castigate and rarely notices or commends a job well done.  You will be promised perks or prizes for exemplary performance, but these will not materialize as stipulated. The scripts are poorly written and misspelled and no critical thinking on your own is permitted, let alone encouraged. The folks we call can be outright abusive and obscene and you can hardly blame them, as they may have been called several times that day. It must be noted that some are quite endearing and a pleasure to speak to. We are instructed to mislead to the "callees" about how  the company (Accurian) obtains their names and numbers. (when you fill your RX, your RX coverage or discount card has an agreement to permit your info to be shared with others that you agree to when you use the card) I really liked my coworkers and it was disheartening to be part of a company that clearly does not value folks. And why should they? There is a steady stream of newbies every week, filing into the training room to take your place. Anomaly would rather have a high turn over, than be an employer who maintains a healthy work environs and treats employees with dignity and value. Often the breakroom was a mess, shared headsets and work desks with no method of employer provided cleaner in sight...bathrooms without toilet paper or paper towels...Yikes! You are instructed to have a supervisor assist with problems, but some behave as though you have asked them to have a tooth pulled without novacaine to be asked to come over to help. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, you will be required to work a split shift which will require you to drive into and from work twice on the same day. How is that of benefit to a call center? It's just an attempt to assert control over those who need the job. Often, you will be sent home as there is not enough call traffic. This is done by asking for volunteers first, then those who were late or poor performers are asked to leave. Correction is accomplished with belittling and sarcasm. People do not leave jobs, they leave poor managers. Avoid this place if you can.

No Benefits - very minimal PTO - even to Salaried and FT management.  Must work there for 4 years to just make your way up to 2 weeks - The first 3 years is 40 hours.

No Sick Leave, No Paid Holidays, No Overtime, VERY expensive health insurance, No Life Insurance, No Retirement - including any type of 401-K.  No career advancement plan.

Very little training - a brief 2 1/2 day training in a classroom - to the call floor for 2 1/2 days to sit with mentors and a trainer - then they start taking calls alone.  There are lots of bad customer service call styles - no training to correct it and many of the managers don't know how to coach for improved skills - other than to say - this is wrong so fix it.

Smooth Communication - non-existent.  It is rare that all members of management are on the same page, and the agents almost never have current information - sometimes the information changes very quickly because of the clients changing their minds - but no clear way to communicate the information.  No info screens on the wall - for updates, metric standings, call volume - no white boards with relevant information.  Bulletin boards not utilized very well.  No information inside cubicles.

The personalities of the management and the staff - aside from a few bad apples - is pretty pleasant and enjoyable to work with.  It is clear that some effort has been made, there is a ping pong table and giant bean bag chairs, large break room with pretty decent vending machines, a couple of microwaves and some beat up refrigerators.  

There isn't any outdoor break area - for smokers or non-smokers - no shade, no tables, no break from the weather.  It is in the far edge of the parking lot - and there is a light pole with a bathroom size trash can zip tied to the pole and 2 metal fire buckets chained to the bottom of the pole.

They do recognize employees of the month and employees of the week - with $25 given for the EOW and $100 for EOM - but nothing anywhere posted as to what the criteria is to get those awards - and employees have no way of looking up their own numbers.

Working at this company is easy and relaxed. There is nothing hard about this job at all. Training is about a week and management is very understanding and willing to work with you.

Concerns: When you work for a company whose owner is a millionaire and doesn't have to worry about his pay is a great concern. There is an issue with payroll every single week, from people not getting all their hours to not receiving paychecks. As an owner, you definitely want your employees happy so they can provide great service. We work all holidays without holiday pay and we bother people 7 days per week. While you are at home enjoying time with your family and friends, we are here continuing to make you millions. There are many of us who literally live paycheck to paycheck. So when there is an issue every single pay period it shows that the owner does not care about his employees. The email that was sent at the beginning of the year stating that he appreciates us doesn't hold weight when you can't get paid on time. 

The worst of it is that you leave management to deal with the issues and that is NOT fair. You don't care enough to apologize for the mistake. SHAMEFUL! There are people who have auto-payments, medications, gas, just bills in general and will not be able to take care of them because there is no paycheck deposited into their account. 

I will post something every single pay period until this is corrected. I will also address when it is fixed and if ownership for the error is corrected as well. You want quality people to work for the company but that will not happen until these issues are fixed. You waste more money training new people, than making sure your current employees are well taken care of and that includes, pay, holidays, and benefits. IT'S EASY WHEN YOU'RE RICH AND DON'T HAVE POOR PEOPLE PROBLEMS! PLEASE FIX IT!!

Anomaly Squared is the worst place ever for employment. This company is telemarketing; it is not a real Customer Service job. It is almost like trying to bully someone into refinancing their mortgage. The scripting that they want you to use gives desperate people false hope. The management SUCKS really bad. Right now they have only 1 client and can only have 4 people on the phones. That is a far cry from a previous article in the Greensboro News and Record where the owner stated that he had 125 employees. They called and said we will call when we need you....THAT DOES NOT PAY THE BILLS!!!!!! The pay is lousy, no benefits off any kind. They told us on September 30 that they would not be offering any kind of insurance and hand us a paper basically telling us to get cover through the Obamacare. During the interview process they tell you that you will get a 25 cent increase every quarter, which never happens (The interview process is about 5 minutes, hands you a piece of paper and tells you to read it, then they sit you with someone to listen to a call after that you are hired.) This company can't provide benefits for the employees but the owner can bring in ping pong table, foosball table, pool table, and BEER for the employees to drink and get drunk while on the clock. The owner and his girlfriend bring their children into the  office area and let them run and yell throughout the entire office while the employees are on the phones. THERE WAS NOTHING ENJOYABLE ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE PLACE TO BE EMPLOYED!!!!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I first was hired for the medical side of the company. Training was short and there was no on the floor training. I was thrown out to the wolves so to speak. In the medical department, I was put on a campaign that I knew nothing about and no one meaning the coaches was willing to show me where to navigate in the system to look up information. This was disheartening to me as a new employee. I asked to be taken off the campaign and no one would. I ended up quitting and after I thought my check was wrong, it was then speaking to management as to why I left, that they put me on the other side and gave me another chance. I was grateful of this opportunity. I was excited to try a different area. There was no training for the other side. Scripts that popped up on the computer was not helpful/valid to assist the customers. The managers and team leaders had zero personality or managerial skills. Managers should be upbeat and willing to assist. There was one manager in particular that liked to play games while one was on the phone. He was loud and the rest of the department was loud too. I left because campaigns kept getting pulled and because of the unprofessional managers.  Also, paychecks were often messed up. Another big no no for me!

Honestly, this job was terrible. My second day there, first day on the phones by myself, the site manager in a group meeting literally pointed at me and said "Hey you, you're new, what's your name?", I responded, to which he asked a question. As I mentioned, it was literally my first day on the phones and I had no clue what the answer was. He proceeded to embarrass me and say "Can someone please answer the new person's question FOR her?". That day let me know just how much they care about their employees. That was the first time he had ever said a single word to me. Their employee to management ratio was significantly unbalanced, and their turnover rate is phenomenal. The way business was conducted made absolutely no sense. The hours were very unstable. One day you could come into work and work a full 8 hour shift and others you would show up and within 30 minutes be sent home with no warning. There would be times where you would go a week or more with no work. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform us not to come into work before showing up to get sent home 15 minutes later. Co-workers were the only reason I enjoyed going to work. I feel that the group and bond we all developed is what kept us all coming. Since leaving they have lost more than 15 other people.

Anomaly Squared is anything but a great opportunity.  When I was hired they promised us employees many incentives such as .25 cent raises every 3 months and health benefits,but after my 4 month stay at the company I realized how much of it was more of a lie than truth.  There are no 25 cent raises, health benefits will not kick in until next year that is if congress doesn't continue to push back the healthcare law.  To top it all off the business is ran terribly. There is no real authority figure and  when it comes to pay roll make sure to write down your hours because they have a tendency of screwing that up to.  The CSR's are treated like 2nd class citizens and the work we do is not real customer service it is telemarketing.  To make things worse they even decided to award people who get the most transfers with company items such as t-shirts and cups as to appease the overall resentment they feel from their lower end coworkers.  I could care less about any of that.  The only people that can enjoy working there are those who were hired in human resources but besides that if you are looking for a Customer Service Rep job I would steer clear of this place.  It is nothing but a telemarketing scam in the guise of real customer service work.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT , MESSING UP PAYCHECKS , literally having to search for my hours every two weeks will have you in 30 different campaigns and still be trying to say that you hours are “correct” and which they aren’t!! The week of my birthday was last month of Jan 2019 we did not receive our paychecks till almost 6:30 pm that Friday evening .. some of the other agents didn’t even receive their paychecks till the next day or Monday because it was real funny the payroll department went home early that day when checks were messed up ! I will not recommend ANYONE to work for this company it’s terrible , ghetto , and it’s not what you think it is .. the managers show favoritism I wish I could report them to somebody cause this is outrageous . Mind you people who have real life bills , children , and other things they need to do with their money we sit here for 8 hours a day but we can’t seem to ever get paid CORRECTLY OR ON TIME .. the lady at the reception desk is very rude , catching attitudes with the workers because they simply would ask what was going on with their money. And then another thing I don’t like is how we don’t have a time clock so you really can’t keep up with hours by logging into the computer.. systems are slow you can be on time and it still takes forever to clock in! I regret even working for this company I will tell everyone don’t do it! It’s not worth it

Traning is very short, 
Supervisors= some friendly some not.
Upper Management= Out of touch with reality. You model your business after Google, but you treat your employees like inmates. 
False / Misleading advertisement regarding flexible part time schedules, you should update your job descripton to include the following... YOU MUST WORK A MIN OF 20hrs per week to be considered part time. Or better yet use a schedule generator based on forcasting reports and allow employees to participate in a shift bid? Or at the very least allow scheduling to be a collaborative process ? If you continue to treat you new employees the way u do your attrition rates will continue to
Skyrocket. 
Your policy about pocketbooks on the call center floor is weird, Phones.. I can understand.
10 min breaks are stressful by the time u get to ur car to go in your purse to get money figure out yiur smart vend system 20 mins elapsed. I have never ever heard of giving people two ten min breaks for a 6 hour shift? 
You have a good litte set up the work is not hard the pettiness , extreme and unordinary rules and regulations make it unbearable. Upper Management should really think about the employees instead of what works best for them.

First off where do I start this is one of the worst call centers I have ever worked for. When I first started my initial position it wasn't that bad decent pay, decent hours, okay management and great co workers. Later after my return I was surprised by new management especially a new Site manager or operations manager what ever you want to call him. Absolutely unprofessional they try to act out and enforce this thing they call structure lol! Laughable the people who now work there are up tight. You practically get fired for almost anything there's constant rumors and talking behind peoples backs. The whole time ive worked there over a 2 year period they have layed/fired more people than I have seen at any job ive worked at. Overall I could go on and on. Was somewhat of a decent call center especially for people looking to get some first experience but what it is today I would never go back. No appreciation management will not follow policies etc etc. horrible
