Overview: Company offers WFH if needed, they have numerous clients so there's no guarantee you know what you'll be placed into until the interview, my program VIP Care had weekends of and worked 8-5pm EST, does allow out of state team members though I do not know the full list besides Texas, Tennessee and Alabama. My program training was two weeks in a classroom to go over who and what the client is operating the two main systems and other orientation items, following this you are placed on side-by-sides with other CSR's in a teams meeting to listen and observe their call, the allotment for this training is two weeks but the systems are pretty easy so you may be on the call load by the end of week one of side-by sides, this program offers two 10 minute breaks and a hour lunch.

Pros: Despite being WFH entirely when I worked here the training was superb I was expecting a level of disconnect but understood the material and thrived on the calls, leadership was always quick to respond to any questions and so were more senior team members, this program was full time with benefits.

Cons: Pay is way too low for the amount of calls, work, and stress for reference this position would equate to a receptionist in a medical office for refence there are close to 80 offices that you can receive calls from with more coming soon in Florida and a handful in Alabama while each office has different rules on what you can do typical call load is close to 30-70 calls a day depends on the day of the week with Monday being the hardest and Friday being lax, all for $12.50/hr at time of writing. Unless you hit the 90-day mark should you have an emergency and take off early you can't touch any PTO, PTO accrual is atrocious for refence November first-Mid February I only had nine hours saved. Bleeding staff members in December we had close to 15 people just quit and a few more scattered through out. Company doe snot have your back, the rules state that if a customer cusses you out you are to give one warning and then disconnect if they do so again, however when placed in to practice there was one coworker (I am not naming since she works there still) who received a write-up for following this procedure and I was fired because I was combative with the person after he cussed me out and followed the rules above.

TL;DR: Save yourself the trouble their healthcare client only pays $12.50 for medical office receptionist duties and working over 80 offices, company is slowly bleeding staff, if you want a job in the healthcare field go to VIP Care offices directly or elsewhere.

The amount you get paid hourly at Ansafone has nothing to do with your qualifications as a professional representative. Your wage will be dependant on the time of fiscal year that you are hired. This means that less qualified peers may make a higher wage than you. 
The job is extremely fast paced on most days and relies on constantly changing requirements, standards, and procedure. 
I worked with their LA CARE Health Plan contract and learned quite a bit about the health care industry. 
If you have any motivation or drive, you will quickly be put into paid cross training but you will not receive any extra wage for your increased workplace knowledge and credentialing. 
The Management is fairly suited to fit the needs of the workplace, but if anything bad happens or if the leadership makes any mistake, they will not hesitate to use LA CARE as their scapegoat. 
You may have to find extra time during your 8 hours of back to back calls to "fight" or appeal Quality Assurance scores, as the analyst may make certain mistakes which can cost your overall call quality if you do not dispute the call, then no matter the source of error, it will stick.
Very High turnover rate with this company. 
Lunch room with slightly overpriced food and drink within the facility. 
This is usually a go-to in a pinch, as it is very convenient. 
Very Flexible on hours, but overtime will be mandatory and there will be seasonal periods of 10-12 hour days 6 days a week so be prepared to have only 24 hour notice of increased hours the next day or week.
For High Call Scores and patient/client compliments , receive a "kudo" which is good for one snack item in the office - usually a soda or a small bag of cookies or chips etc..
Horrible parking - be prepared to fight for a spot or park down the road and walk app. 5-10 minutes to the office.
Food truck arrives from very limited times 11-12 each day, but serves good food.

The work life balance at Ansafone is almost non-existent. Employee absence is unacceptable; notes from physicians, emergency rooms, and hospital stays are not accepted. There is a point based system which allows an employee eight points. One absence is two points. If you miss 4 days, weather you were hospitalized or not, you can only have those points taken back if you can fill out American Disability paperwork and get accepted as disabled. If your child is sick you get points for missing work, If you are hospitalized you get points for missing work. If you need to go to the emergency room and bring back paperwork stating severe infection from an abscess tooth and that two days off are required for you to return to work safely you get points for those two days.
You are given 21 hours of PTO (paid time off) but the points are still applicable.
Work security is tenuous at best. If you are hired as a full time employee and the campaign you are on ends within three weeks you may be told that there is no work now but other campaigns are coming and they'll call you when they need you again. This is not a company to plan any kind of future with and depending on them for the payment of bills and other life necessities is unwise.
If the calls run out 4 hours into your eight hour shift you are sent home and this does happen quite often. We are sent on a mandatory lunch 45 minutes to an hour and a half after arriving for our eight hour shifts and then are often sent home two hours after clocking back in from said lunch.
There are two office locations. Multiples of us were given as little as a one day notice that we were moving to the second office for a new campaign. This has happened to myself and several coworkers. 
Your job performance is not taken into account where your point value for doctor excused absences determines your continued employment. This I have witnessed with nine of my fellow co-workers just since the beginning of 2020.

When you are hired, you are assigned to a "campaign" which basically means what company you will be contracted for.  Some have mandatory overtime, some optional.  Some are temporary campaigns (I watched several employees have HR tell them they were hired for permanent positions, only to find out AFTER training they were temporary).  Doctor's notes are not accepted for an absence.  If you were in the emergency room for example, you must show your discharge papers showing time/date admitted/discharged and reasons.  They often do not notify if you are terminated, they will simply turn off your key card and clean out your locker without your knowledge (again, watched this happen to countless employees).  Grammar mistakes are grounds for discipline in many campaigns, including termination after so many.  There were several team leads who would literally disappear.  If you can't find your team lead, you are out of luck for any questions, issues, or should there be any emergency.  If anyone has a family emergency, they must simply leave a message with reception (on a recorded line) and hope reception gets to the person in a timely manner.  It is often for employees to face campaigns ending/moving/downsizing and have to switch to another.  Dress code is fairly strict, so make sure you have plenty of casual business attire before applying.  If you are not scheduled for mandatory overtime, beware of your schedule.  2 common options for schedules are: 8 hours (7.5 paid, 2-10min paid breaks, 1-30min lunch unpaid) or 7.5 hours (2-10min paid breaks, no lunch).  Parking passes must be maintained monthly or you will be towed.  Parking is very limited onsite, and overflow parking is about 2-3 blocks over.

I had the chance to work in Ansafone Contact Centers.  I always got on time to work, I was doing a good job, I was very happy with this job because I was solving customers' issues or problem, as I repeat I was happy with my job.  On my third day I came to work very happy as usually, I got on time ready to start my third day to work, I remember I was going to work Saturdays, as I said, it was my third day and one of my team lead called me and walked me to one manager's office.  This manager is latin because has Spanish last name but looks like he doesn't speak well the Spanish and as I know Ansafone Contact Centers is bilingual and told me that I was doing a good job but he had to let me go because he didn't like my latin accent.  I remember one time I answered a call, the customer was from Baghdad, I introduced myself to the customer following the proper greetings but I couldn't understand well the customer.  When he gave his full name, I couldn't understand his first name and last name, for me was very hard to understand clearly his first name.  I asked him to spell his first name and last name out to me but was very hard to pick his spelling because that customer wasn't pronouncing well the letters.  I noticed I was taking within 3 to 5 minutes on the spelling to recently start to solve his problem.  I can tell that this latin manager based on that situation I had to determine he had to let me go.  I'm totally sure that this latin manager could have the same problem or issue as I had when he answers calls to customers from Baghdad, India or any other country from the middle east and you know these people are very hard when they speak, they speak very tough, is very hard to understand clearly these people.  I think that this latin manager deserves to be transferred to another contact center in another state

Just gonna say stay away from this place. Some managers and shift leads are the fakest people I've ever met. They play favorites at this company. I was fooled into thinking I was gonna be working in one campaign only to find out that I was getting sent to another team, without the greatest training in for what the job was asking for I don't believe the pay was worth it. I will say that the only reason I stayed here was because I needed a job badly. You will get told that you aren't able to repeat things under your breath if you are trying to make sure you are doing it right. You have to talk a certain way to callers (like I said the pay isn't worth it) the job you are doing is basically for the doctor's office and feels like you should've gone to school for all this. Ohhh, They don't offer holiday pay!! PTO takes a very long time to get, you'll be there for about 2 and a half months and only have 4 hours of PTO, also they use your PTO without telling cause you've been late a few times, and you get 40 hours of no paid PTO. They will change your time due to you having IT issues and they make it seem like it's the end of the world, IT is the worst here. Rude, not trained right, talk to you as if you don't know what the problem is cause I don't that's YOUR job IT.  Supervisors here, LOL are a joke, some of them but one of them who I wish I could name is someone who I would never want my ex to work for cause I've lost all respect for. If you need a WFH skip this place. Breaks are only 2 ten minutes and a 30-minute break which should be 2 15 and a one-hour break if they are asking you to clock in 5 minutes. STAY AWAY!!

I worked for the solutran campaign and if you like getting yelled at and belittled by old people for 8 hours a day then its the perfect place for you!! Both of the managers are jokes. Neither of them give two about anybody but themselves and THEIR personal problems. The point system is extremely ridiculous and almost humanly impossible to work with. You get 8 points a YEAR. If you call out, thats 1.5 points as of Dec 2019. So realistically, if you call out more than 5 days A YEAR you're in grounds for termination. And they will not hesitate. This company's policy is absolute s and god forbid if you sit in somebody's “regular seat” 

I had to go to the ER one day and I was told by one of the floor supervisors to bring back a note and I wouldn't get any points against me.LOL well i brought in my doctors note and apparently they dont “accept dr notes anymore” AND i got 1.5 points for leaving 2 hours before my shift ended. I was basically told it was my responsibility as an employee to push through it. So i guess the campaign supervisors think their employees arent human and TOTALLY control what happen to their bodies LOL they kill me! And GOD FORBID YOURE EVEN ONE MINUTE LATE OH NO. dont do that yall, thats .5+ points right there EVEN IF YOU CALL IT IN! Aint that crazy yall?

There is EXTREME lack of communication between staff and management. 
Needless to say, this place is a joke. Dont waste your time here,if anyones telling you its great, its really not . This place is a disgrace to phone companies, and should honestly just be closed down

It is my job, along with the other trainers, to teach our customer service agents how to successfully handle phone calls for our clients. Instilling and reinforcing the skills, knowledge and positive attitude necessary to be an asset to our clients' businesses is of the utmost importance. In my time with this company, I've learned a great deal about interacting with different types of people, both in person and over the phones, and I always strive to find the most effective ways to share knowledge and experience.

In looking at the overall management of the company in its day-to-day operations, it often seems to be the case that "the left hand doesn't know what the right foot is doing." It is not uncommon to receive conflicting information and direction from management from one day to the next. That aside, the most difficult aspect of this job is in dealing with poorly worded, poorly spelled scripts which our agents must try to use when dealing with their customers.

What I most enjoy is the teaching aspect of the job. I am a skilled and effective communicator, and I derive great satisfaction from my ability to find the best way to instruct an agent, give them confidence and see to it that they can deliver a great customer service experience with every phone call.

Like most others, when COVID hit I wanted to work from home. I was excited to work at Ansafone. They provided required paid training on site in Ocala. Training was fine, it was just boring like all other companies. When you’re out on the floor you can have a book with you to read if you run out of work. On the floor you are still on site until they provide you with the equipment to WFH — I saw some people wait a few days, some waited a week or two. I loved working at home. However they micromanage VERY badly especially when you’re at home. and when I sad badly, I mean bad. I had to get up to use the restroom when I was sick and I was threatened for it. They said I can’t get up, that I need to keep a bin by me. They watch your times like hawks and if you spend even 30 seconds not on a call, you’re in trouble. The team leads (depending on your project) aren’t the best. My first project, I loved my team lead. She was helpful and super kind. The next project we had 2 team leads. They did not answer questions and were VERY rude to a bunch of us. I ended up quitting after finding a better WFH job. This new job allows me to get up if I need, and has helpful management. Basically if you like being micromanaged and sitting at a desk for 8-9 hours a day, this may be the best bet for you. If not, I’d stay clear. 

A typical day at work is trash, you get two 10 minute breaks. You get a 30 minute lunch, if you have system issues, leads adjust your time, but it affects your work adherence. Training was 2 weeks, then you had side by side nesting  which is when someone whose successful at the job, trains you while taking live calls. You must have perfect attendance for 90 days, after 90 day probation period, you get 40 hours of (unpaid) PTO which is when you can call out for any 
reason and won't be penalized, but you also don't get paid. Paid PTO accumulates like a snail,
 you will barely have 8hrs of paid PTO before 
any major holiday. Metrics is when your calls are graded passing score was 90% at first, but then went up to 95% in order to pass. You get paid $13.50 if your not bilingual. Before I got the job, they said the call volume would be 40-50 calls with Monday being the busiest day and Friday the slowest. That was a lie, my average call volume would be 56-70 calls a day, especially if your faster at handling calls. The pay is low, the job requirements are high, and there is no stability. One minute you have a supervisor you like, and then you get a new one. I think retention is high for this company, but no one  talks about it. I would take this job only if I had no work experience or in desperate need for money.
