not a bad place to work. only a couple of drawbacks-first one was the coworkers they have training you are not really concerned about showing you how to do everything, only what they need you to do for them to complete their work and that's it, nothing beyond and nothing detailed, only what they need you to do to keep them from falling behind and they don't explain it well. Second, you better be fast at becoming part of their click within because you're either in or you're out, no in between or lagging. it's kind of an attitude from some that have been there for a while that you are either with them or against them, no neutral ground, that makes you an automatic enemy. other than that it's not bad at all, several coworkers are very friendly but once you see a line drawn in the sand it is just difficult to relax and become comfortable. always feel like you are being talked about or judged if you find yourself on the wrong side of that line.

Client population is wonderful.  Arisa will get providers a caseload.  Mine is far too big (100+).  A lot of people seek help there.  This may be due to lack of choice.  Policy does not support providers.  Company views direct service providers as replaceable.  Compensation lags behind competitors.  High turnover is present at the clinic where I work.  They don’t support life/work balance.  Bonus is available as long as you bill over 5 hours a day and bill above and beyond for days you don’t work like holidays and PTO.  Benefits are ok.  Not great but do exist.  Company seems top heavy.  On call and crisis service is required and quite a production.  Better hope the local tech provided works or it’s a bigger production.  Crisis screening during clinic hours will interrupt service provision and you will not receive credit for what you were forced to miss to get to a jail or hospital.  Work culture is fair if you manage boundaries.  Training is adequate and usually poorly organized.  

Arisa Health works with the most difficult and at risk clients in the community- the ones who have the most needs—this is what keeps me motivated and fulfilled working for this agency. This past year leadership has made significant changes such as updating technology- no more flip phones, better laptops, etc. Productivity expectations have been reduced in order to have direct client workers achieve bonuses easier AND the bonus rate of pay has increased. Our healthcare plan has changed to BCBS. During inclement weather days you can now choose to use your PTO or go unpaid- which encourages the use of PTO when staff want to use it. Overall, the executive team has made significant improvements to push a culture of a better work life balance AND they have heard the feedback that employees have AND have made changes that matters to staff. 

Arisa is a company where real life change can happen for clients to succeed in treatment. The program is bulletproof and wouldn't fail any client or employee that is affiliated with the company. The superiors are very supportive to the well being of the mental health care for the provider and tw client. There is no failure presented with in the establishment. There are some pro's and con's to the position such as compensation for the amount of work being performed. Overall it's a top tier company to work for if your goal is to help the mental health clients that are needing service. From my experience I've witnessed a 180 degree turn around with the clients I have been in contact with. Arisa is a growing company to better the future of our mental health issues in this nation.

I have worked at Arisa Health/Ozark Guidance for 4 years. The opportunities for growth, benefits and bonuses, as well as the support in achieving my professional goals are just a few of the many reasons I choose to stay at Arisa. The mission and vision of Arisa to provide quality and sustainable care for clients in AR is something I can get behind. I have numerous colleagues, supervisors, and other staff that I can reach out to for guidance and it very much feels like a familial atmosphere. While the work in community mental health can be challenging, the impact that Arisa Health makes in our state is crucial to help those in need.

Upon taking over Midsouth Health Systems, alot changed for the better. However when covid first came, I was on the front lines as a case manager the entire time making risky home visits and making them money. But when given the choice to vaccinate or not, they pushed those same individuals that worked during the covid crisis out the door if we didn't comply. And instead of calling it a termination they made us "resign" even though it was against our wills. Its not fair to make people choose between their health and their livelihood but hey whatever it takes to keep the dollar. No matter what, I enjoyed my job all because of my clients and the joy they brought into my life.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Arisa was great place to work, I enjoyed the people I worked with and felt like I was making a difference in someone's life.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with people going through a rough mental state is always tough.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In the Bentonville adult clinic the atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Generally busy, either the phones are ringing off the hook, clients are ready to schedule the next appointment, or you need to work with one of the therapist to assist in getting a hold of a client.

I worked school based so from day to day I didn’t really interact with leadership/Arisa management. School based can be very isolating as a therapist and there’s not a ton of support from leadership in that aspect. 
 I will only speak from my own experience when I say that when you ask for help or support you often get backlash. You get snippy email responses and feedback is often perceived as you questioning authority. 
I loved working in the school and working closely with the school staff.  The flexible schedule and freedom in your work is nice but the way you’re treated by management is unfair.

As a bilingual CSR the work gets to be a little overwhelming especially if management does a poor job in the division of work. You can voice your opinions and concerns as many times as you’d like but it will result in nothing. Good for office/healthcare experience but definitely not a long term job. For a mental health clinic you’d think they’d care a bit more about the associates, that are the backbone of the company, but sadly that is too much to ask for. Set pay, no raises ever. Had to resign before I finished losing my mind. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The supervisors are awesome to work for.  The hours and pay are good as well.  I highly recommend this employer.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is nothing really stressful about the position that I had at all.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a very relaxed work environment.  The supervisors are very nice, helpful, and understanding.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I would go in and drive the morning route, go home, and go back to drive the afternoon route, and be through for the day.
