They will make you feel welcome at first.  People act friendly to your face, and you can do what you are requested to do, follow all the rules, use your vast knowledge, and be easy to work with, however the second someone in a key position decides you are targeted, that is the end.  This is a place of backstabbing and manipulation.  I would not treat my worst enemy the way I was treated by management.  I did my job, I thought people liked me and was very betrayed.  My life was ruined by joining this company.  No amount of free food was worth this.  They will lie to you and sell you up the river.  You will be surprised one day by being eliminated.  

Good technology and fast growth of the company. Overall, good staff. However, with expedited growth of the company, the HR evaluation/vetting and hiring of new scientists and managers has been poor and needs an overhaul. Leads to increasing toxic culture within (ex. infighting, hostile scientists, retaliatory managers, etc.). Psychological Evaluation of candidates may be helpful. 

Start up with many opportunities for growth and advancement.  As with most smaller companies one must wear multiple hats but every individual makes a difference. 

They draw you in with great pay and benefits, tell you everything you want to hear, and then set you up for disappointment and failure. Toxic staff, management, and HR. 

Terrible management.  Couldn't even tell you what my "boss" did for 40 hours a week, except take credit for other people's accomplishments.  No one at this company cares about you as a person, but they will sure pretend to.

But overall if you’re looking for a decent career, it’s a good place to start. Not much promotional opportunities in my department but the company does do promotion hikes every now and then.

The in vivo department is not run very well and the people who dont do the work do nothing about the obstacles you come across. Great benefits and Holidays off.

It’s okay. A job is a job. Can’t complain to much other than it seems like you are just a cog in the machine. But I think anywhere you work you might not been see for anything but your work
