What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with the other assistant principals was great, and some of the students were really dedicated to learning. The teachers truly wanted to teach. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The extreme expectations on teachers and administrators created an environment of fear, mistreatment, and stress. There was no joy. The network basically forgot about the high school until it was failing and then the MD, who was a bully, and other network leaders expected the administrators - who were new - to fix what the network allowed to break in an unreasonable amount of time. The network leaders hate anyone who speaks up or calls them out, so they find ways to push people out unfairly for daring to advocate for themselves, for teachers, and for students. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture is incredibly toxic. There is no joy. They are always looking for a "gotcha" moment and for reasons to write up employees, so everyone lives in fear even when doing the right thing and working hard. The managing directors are on major power trips and micromanage.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was hired for one job. My role changed shortly after being hired, and that was ok because it was a similar role. I was then put in charge of both roles (two separate jobs which both were two separate salaried positions). I was then put in a third leadership role that was also salaried. They refused to pay me for any of my extra roles. It was awful. Every day, I was overworked, belittled, and grossly underpaid.

Management actually cares about its employees. The job can be tiresome but it’s very flexible and you make your own schedule. Benefits could be better as they only offer health without vision or dental.
