They hired me immediately, which at first was great. I loved and developed connections with the clients we serviced. But, I soon realized why turnover is high at this "company". The management (if you want to call it that), proved to be very unprofessional. They don't provide benefits and the main language spoken here is Tagalog. Prepare to be talked about in front of your face in a different language!

I was often forced to work over 12 hours, my longest shift lasting 21 consecutive hours. I’ve watched as myself and other staff lost severe amounts of weight and having health issues due to how much we were working and stressing about work. The residents were the only things that made leaving hard. Many residents who needed 2 staff at all times only had the help from 1 staff instead.

Aspen doesn't care about you or their clients, they just care about themselves. Everyone you call ignores your messages, you express the need for help and they don't give it to you, people that are "veterans" breaking policy right in front of you on training day. They mess up your pay and don't care. Bless the clients hearts for being under the care of people who ignore and neglect workers/clients. Honestly, don't work here man and don't put anyone you love under their care.

I love working here, putting in effort everyday to provide the highest care for some truly wonderful and deserving individuals.  Though there are definite areas of improvement, the reward of knowing we make a difference in the individual's lives is worth it

The job is good just need to have two people in each shift instead of one because if anything goes wrong , the employee mostly gets in trouble even though they follow the guidelines.

If you are searching for a positive work environment, integrity, and honesty... Please be cautious of this position. There is a high turnover here! .....

Pay is low ($15/hr), and no matter how hard you work, or how good you are, you'll never get a raise.

They did give me a job quickly, however, and I got overtime.

Only apply if you're desperate for a paycheck. Management lies on you even if you did nothing wrong. The clients are the main reason to stay. Pay is not that good.
