I’ve worked here for 7 years and have yet to see any advancement and I’ve undertaken extra responsibilities while maintaining an average QA of 95%(don’t even get me started on the QA they will find any reason to nitpick your score just so they don’t have to give you a 100) All the support staff and supervisors pick favorites and if you suck up to someone enough you can get prompted to a supervisor, Qa specialist or team lead; better yet they just come up with a new position out of thin air and slap a fancy title on it just so they can promote their buddies. You’ll take on all the responsibilities of a federal employee without any of the benefits IE-You always work Christmas Eve and Blackfriday even though no other federal employees work those days. Health care is a joke you’re gonna pay a co-pay $100 just to go to a Urgent Care, The pay is joke considering the type of training and information you have to know/use on a daily basis (Security is taken to the extreme) If it snows 5ft w/2 inches of ice on top you’re still expected to come to work, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR EMPLOYEES ( I have worked multiple days when the state of Maryland declared a national emergency weather related or recently the COVID outbreak; don’t get me started on how they handled that what a joke) One day a water line busted and they were so dead set on having us work they rented porta potties and hand washing stations WHAT A JOKE. You could have 80 hours of PTO banked up and call in sick on the slowest day of the year and still get an occurrence, PTO is hard enough to use as they never approve days off and you mine as well say goodbye to your pto if you wait until after September to use it. The scheduling is a joke, I can’t get a set schedule and still have to work a rotating schedule because of the companies “needs” Everyone claims to have a medical condition and uses FMLA but they seem to be just as able bodied as anyone else when they’re running around the call center with their buddies. All
In this is not a nice place to work, I strongly recommend taking your talents else where will

I genuinely enjoy this job, more than any other job I have had in the last 15 years. The management at my particular site is awesome, they're decent people who have realistic expectations of their workers, they don't overburden them with unrealistic expectations. They'll work with you when you have "real life" stuff going on, they don't just arbitrarily terminate people and its a stable employment opportunity, the job is not overly difficult but does require a fair bit of technical knowledge and attention to detail. The offered health insurance plan is not terrible, the employee premiums are are quite low and the deductible is practical. 

That being said, its not without its downsides, the pay is inadequate for the level of expertise one needs to excel at the job, and the 401k quite frankly is laughable, matching only .25 cents on the dollar for the first 4%. There is no feasible way that a 401k at the hourly wage they offer and the matching rate while an employee is paying the cost of living in the area could even begin to have anything approaching a stable retirement income to live on after a standard 30-40 year career.

Aspira Corporate should really be ashamed of themselves, particularly because the project I work on is a call center which deals with participants of a 401k plan that is vastly superior to the one Aspira offers to its own employees who are nothing more than sub-contractors. When I say vastly superior, I mean the 401 plan we manage matches literally 5 times what Aspira matches for its own employees.

No job is ever 100% perfect, but I am here to say this job is the best job I've ever had. I work hard, show up every single day and do so with a positive attitude. I love having guaranteed weekends off and paid federal holidays. I have worked my way up to 20 days of PTO and in another year or so I will get 25days.PTO. Communication is key at this job. As long you effectively and honestly communicate the management staff will work with you in any way they can. It is because of the amazing support staff and my own hard work, dedication and reliability that helped me in earning 2 promotions in the last 3.5 years I've worked here. The people I see leaving negative reviews leave me wondering if they put in the necessary effort it takes to be a good employee. What's more interesting is they are still currently employee with us. I would like to see the wages increase to match what we are seeing other companies raise to in our county. I stay because of the people I work with, the added benefits and bc I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I highly recommend working for outer Frostburg contact specifically. They feel like my extended family and I am forever grateful for the opportunities presented to me here. 

Work as federal government contractor as call center rep. During the Covid-19 outbreak we are deemed essential. During first two weeks of the crisis in March, there was near zero communication from anyone in regard to our status or working conditions with the exception of an email sent reminding us to clean our desks and wash our hands. It was business as usual in that building each day as the cramped conditions we work in made everyone more and more anxious.  As we kept hearing about temporary pay raises for other workers forced to continue, nothing from Aspira. Even under normal circulation we are making much less than those we are serving as even an entry level federal worker is making more than us with much better benefits. During a national crisis they need to acknowledge how hard our job can be in such a trying time. Most of us are still very grateful to be working, but no communication and no stepping up by our company has many of us feeling like it may be time to move on. Our jobs are not easy, the amount of knowledge needed to perform this job is extreme and things are constantly changing. After all of this is over I feel alot of valuable people who are very good at there jobs will be leaving.

The work environment and company culture really depends on who your boss/supervisor is and the site that you’re at. I worked in the Bronx. The work load was unevenly distributed in my opinion. Some of my coworkers at the time did not fairly contribute to achieving our daily tasks. I was constantly being left alone with 20 kids because my different colleagues would leave the classroom. The immaturity levels were high and the apathy was apparent. My needs were dismissed by my boss at the time and mostly everyone expressed dissatisfaction for the management. Daily operations were carried out in a way that made no sense and I felt overwhelmed working here. Support was slim to none and my boss eventually got fired for incompetence and negligence a year after I left. Despite the negative, I’ve had some beautiful moments and memories with the children that I tutored and supervised. It was always a pleasant experience planning S.T.E.M. lessons for them in the summer and having some of them in my arts & crafts group. Field trips with the children were always great (exhausting but great) and working with them for their summer showcases was always rewarding.

The call center manager is racist to certain ethnic groups , she willwrite you up or pin wrong doings without cause . the people the lead aka big heads are even more horrible to us PSR , and dont think about the fact they once sat were we are now even if what was yesterday. It's a shame because the main reason they have people walking out on them is because of the call center management. Now if you are just looking to earn a couple of paychecks go for about maybe a month , after that you will see who they really are . And no use speaking up it only makes the situation worse .  If you dont mind how your boss treats you and enjoy being mocked and lied upon , this is a perfect place for you. I was so happy and greatful when i got hired but my happiness didn't last to long especially seeing how my once coworkers were also trated and decided to leave. It's sad , i believe thats why they have so many classes thats so they can keep filling vacancies.

Multiple sales of the company occurred over my employment period, resulting in frequently changing responsibilities and regulations. What started out as a fairly solid, dependable position with a reasonable workload devolved into an enormous workload dealing with non-stop customer rudeness and arbitrary complaints by picky troublemakers. Additionally, policy changes gave the impression that upper management was fickle and could not be relied on to keep the welfare of the company or its employees in mind. Changes to existing policies resulted in infractions on employee records being incurred retroactively, causing personnel to lose their jobs with little to no warning. 

i wouldn’t say i hate the job. it has been VERY convenient & it’s an extremely easy job. take the call, do the verification, & help the part. the pay was good enough to get me my first apartment in a really nice neighborhood, but it’s barely enough to keep me afloat. i got a .29¢ raise. what the h? am i supposed to do w/ that? i truly don’t understand. i think that management has an unreasonable expectation of going back into “ready” after the call ends. calls were coming in so fast & so much i didn’t have time to catch a break, so i sat for a minute. i took off 2 fridays in a row b/c it was too much. i was on the verge of crying at work. there’s no paid maternity leave. you’re forced to take the vaccine (which is why im leaving). again, it’s a great job in hindsight but it’s no longer for me. i do thank them for welcoming me aboard. it has been a great experience but on to better things.

It’s a call center like any other, co-workers are pretty cool and sociable but there is always some drama brewing somewhere. The job is EASY just have to remember to say everything on every call as learned but the information also changes almost daily. 
You are micro managed all day, constantly watched, hooked to the phone!! Very little idle time have to leave breaks and lunch early as to be back on the phone at exactly you 15 or 30 min mark. Or risk getting wrote up. 
The pay was 14.50 which is not a livable wage in TX without some type of government assistance or I mean if you live with your parents 

Aspira has been through some ownership changes over the last few years.  And with each there have been talk of improvements and little ones here and there.  I love the open door policy all the way to our CEO.  I find that in my division Outdoor that management is friendly, depending on the team there is a real sense of support.  I do feel that morale can be low and that wages for employees are very low and out of line with comparable positions.  I have been with the company 5+ years, and I am hopeful that Aspira will make the improvements, that will make us an amazing company to work for
