There is no stability and can be taken off a case with no notice and may not work for a month before they find another opening, then it may only be 10 hours a week. Caregivers are responsible for keeping documentation on clients as well as hours worked and rate of pay, call your hours in every week, plus provide the original paperwork before they will release your check and that's IF they "got your call in" otherwise you'll wait another week before you're paid.  Management is nonexistent and will ignore your calls and texts no matter how important your issue. After almost 3 years with the company, I chose to give my notice of resignation after my supervisor ignored my concern with a weekend caregiver, who decided to start vicious lies about me. Lies that could cost me my license and reputation, all so she could try to get my position. When I gave my notice, it was ignored until my last 2 days, and still didn't talk to my supervisor, just a text from her assistant. 
If you're ok with working an unstable 10 hours a week that you may or may not be paid for in a timely fashion, and never have a reason to talk to supervors, then this is the place for you. 
I could go on and on naming the things I've dealt with since being employed there. They should get new field supervisors, not use ex caregivers to handle pay roll and be a little more selective in the caregivers they hire, and would be great if state certification would be required for EVERYONE! They need to start over.

Providing companionship and conversation, stabilization and assistance with walking, preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items, providing medication reminders and appointment reminders. Performing light housekeeping tasks, washing and ironing laundry, running errands ,accompanying clients to appointments, assisting with bathing, grooming toileting and incontinence issues. Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds, ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach. Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions, ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect , ability to adapt to various living environments and locations, ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
I have learned to care for those who can't care for themselves or have limited range of motion.
Co-workers are friendly, always extending a hand when you need help.
Hardest part of my job is leaving my patient for long periods of time and not knowing if they are being properly looked after.
The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that I am helping someone continue to live life without them feeling alone or left out of the world.

As long as you were willing to go above and beyond for the supervisors (and everyone in the Bristol and Johnson city office thought they were boss) you got plenty of hours and patients but the first time you had a problem or was confrontational about your work load or if you had a problem client, they cut your hours. The office staff were all related by blood or marriage and if you complained they cut your hours. The equipment to clock in and out on was always hit and miss when signing in or out and if it wasn't perfect, the guy over it would call and belittle you for being stupid and threaten not to pay you or fire you (even though it wasn't your fault) then they would cut your hours.

A typical day working for AT Home Health Care: go to client's home to perform personal care, cleaning, maybe an errand, maybe cooking , laundry.If you have time left, then you just sit around till time to clock out.

I have learned a lot from working with this company. Hoyer lift training, dementia care, got my CPR certificate , which has to be updated every 2 years, airborn pathogens and protective equipment,
falls.

The hardest part of this job is the heavy lifting you have to do sometimes, or the rolling the heavier people to change them and wash them.

My most enjoyable part of this job is meeting new people. I have meet lots of good people during my time with this company.

This company is an absolute disgrace! The management and HR staff is unorganized,unreliable and UNPROFESSIONAL! They have poor communication skills and it's a lot of confusion as well. You have to basically BEG for work. They say one thing and then turn around and say they don't recall what they have said to you. Also, they barely give you any information about the members they send you to  alot of the times you are going to a home not knowing what to expect.  I have also voiced my concerns about certain aspects of my job and of course they assure you they will take care of it and never do.I have NEVER had an issue with a company I worked for until i worked for this company.

Office staff tries to work with your personal schedule and availability. I enjoy meeting the various clients and helping them to live more comfortably by assisting with their daily activities. The down side is that a case isn't ever permanent, a client could no longer need services or a schedule could change. Also shifts and clients are placed all over Nashville. As a healthcare assistant a few typical tasks include: cooking meals, cleaning residence, bathing the client, feeding the client, helping with exercises and much more.

If you like EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED MANAGEMENT WITH HORIBLE, VOLATILE, ATTITUDES THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! If you would like to receive next to nothing in payment in exchange for a broken back....then this company is for you. I could have demanded serious compensation...considering the fact that they sent me 5 foot 130 pound to a 300+ pound individual who was non-ablatory with no lift, sliding board, or help. I hurt my back when I was refused any help...I was out for over a week with NO compensation! There were so many HORIBLE things about this company...I can not even begin to express the issues. DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME OR BODY!

Typical day was crazy. I learned something comical each day with clients sister. Management wasn't stable. Co-workers were friendly when I seen them. The hardest part of my day was dealing with client sister as she was real picky with her brother, however, I did as she asked. The enjoyable part of my day was seeing that little man smile when he was put back in bed.
My other client was a lady which I had taken care of before with another company, she was a handful and a typical day with her was crazy but full of events. We stayed busy from the am to the pm. A sweet young lady that touched my heart.

I love taking care of people, so home health was a great fit for me. I get along with everyone, and help in anyway I can. A lot of the homes I was sent to though, were very unsafe and uneasy environment, and for that reason, I was not comfortable putting myself in those types of situations. Bed bugs, fleas, possible drug addicts, etc. so i resigned from my position at At Home Health Care. I still love to take care of people, and want to further my career in the medical field as soon as I am finically stable to do so.

Very unprofessional work place...The people in the mane office are very rude...They act as if their employees are super humans and they dont have a complete understanding with each other...One supervisor will tell you one thing just for another to tell you that they were telling you wrong...Neither supervisor has a professional vocabulary and the homes of residents are unhumane...Residents are left without supplies that is needed to be given care and poor work hours for underpaid aids
