The company's overall has a great culture. We are in the middle of time square so its an accessible commute. The views are amazing. The happy hours are always fun. And if you are lucky, management is very helpful but overall people here are very helpful. We always have fruits in the kitchen, tea, and coffee. We also celebrate birthdays once a month. So there are always some things to look forward to. It is a recruiting firm and like most recruiting firms, the hours are long. It also is a new firm too so the hours are understandable. It is more about if you can really do these hours. The only con for me personally is pay. I believe they can really up their game on that. Honestly, when it comes to culture (personality fit) and hours, you just need to know whether it's worth it. It is a new company, and it will grow, and the opportunity to grow is there.

After spending the last 2 years with Atlas Search, I only have positive feedback. I came from a corporate background and took the leap to move into agency recruitment and haven't looked back. The partners encourage healthy competition, my director enables me to move forward and continue to push myself, and my team creates an environment that makes me enjoy coming to work every day. 

We also have great firmwide and divisional events from happy hours to beer pong competitions to karaoke nights! 

I have no intentions of leaving Atlas Search any time soon but if I ever do, I have a feeling this firm will be the best professional experience I will ever have.

Everyone knows your name!  Walking into the office everyone is always friendly and happy to be there.  People work together and cross-functionally to help with the continued growth of the firm.   Many firms have an intense culture, here the partners work with employees to make sure they are on the right track to be successful and happy.  Recruiting has ups and downs as part of the business and it's great to feel supported during both as it's a rewarding career.  To work with and help people find new positions and provide career advice.

Its 10 hour days, so its very draining mentally and physically. Adding commute time to that (office is in Time Square) that leaves you no time to get anything done during the week. Most of the people are nice, and they have a really good company culture, but other than that, there is nothing else holding you there. The pay for entry level is horrible, its basically minimum wage for work that is beyond entry level. They won't raises salaries too much, and yearly bonuses are discretionary, not solely based on work, but other factors that have to do with how the business did that year.

I have been in the recruitment business for over 6 years now and I am grateful to have found a home at Atlas Search.  Things that I look to avoid in a recruitment business are micro-managing managers who are metric driven and lose sight of helping the clients in need.

Atlas Search has a relaxed culture, but also has a group of hard working, driven individuals that come in each day wanting to better their life by bringing an abundance of passion to help their clients.

I look for Atlas Search to be my career long home and would recommend this company to anybody looking to join!

Atlas Search invests in its biggest asset, their employees.  The firm offers exceptional hands-on training and leading recruitment technology to help their employees be successful, grow and learn. The culture is very collaborative, everyone is working towards the same goal and the Partners are involved in all day to day activities.  As a company, we enjoy playing in a Softball league, competing against each other in Fantasy Football and relaxing at a Happy Hour.  It's an organization, that will make you feel like you are family when you are here.

A typical day demands being a self-starter, visonary, good communicator, project oriented, strong closer, good negotiator, along with handling various projects at one time.  Skills in the  full cyle sale is necessary.  This includes finding  your clients, identifying their needs, presentation to customers, negotiating and closing.  This process is lengthy but very rewarding due to the extent of skillsets required to accomplish the end result.

Overall more cons than pros. Serious lack of work life balance. Pay not aligned with amount of work required. Heavy micromanagement from team leaders. The place has a young, fun, work hard - play hard environment and nice equipment for every employee. (Dual monitors, headsets, etc.) 

I've been at Atlas for over a year and love it. The culture here is excellent. We like to laugh and have fun while getting work done. It truly is a work hard play hard environment. You can earn a lot of money, and you can learn a lot and work in a fast-paced environment. The office in a high rise, open format, with a fantastic view of time square and the Partners are very generous in all areas. If you work hard, you will succeed here.
