I want to start this out by explaining the review summary. 

The ad listings for these jobs you see are lies. You will most likely not be going in and getting a customer service position. You’ll go in to the interview after having applied to one, but you’ll quickly learn that it is an outbound cold call sales position for various programs. Why do they lie in the ads? It was explained to us, referrals. 

Company employees get referral bonuses, employees get personalized links so that when you apply for the job through their link, that employee gets a bonus of $50 upfront and $50 after you finish training. So here are the facts about the job the way that I experienced them 

I applied for an inbound customer service position. Got a text message saying to call the recruiting department. I called and explained the position I applied for and was invited to come for an interview the same week. I came in and had to do a sort of assessment on their computer, this part seemed like a setup from a recruiting agency. 

The first sign that something was wrong was in the assessment there was a part where you had to read a sales script in to a mic. Next was the in person interview, and the staff themselves were very nice, no complaints about that. The interviewer explained that this was a cold calling sales position. At this point I was very upset with the bait and switch but decided to give it a try anyway. Which is exactly what they’re hoping for. 

Anyway, about the actual job itself. There were some great perks. 

Training was four days plus a day on the phones then a day off. The instructor was extremely nice and I enjoyed my training class as we all got along fine. 

DialAmerica utilizes a company called DailyPay to issue your paychecks and as implied by the name, there is an option to withdraw up to half of your check the morning after your shift. So you get paid essentially daily. 

The breaks system was also nice, you were the owner of your personal time. You could take your breaks (two paid, one unpaid (meal break) on an 8 hour shift for example) as you please after the first hour of your shift and before the last hour.  

They had several TVs thorough the office for you to look at which was nice. The entire setting overall was friendly. I didn’t have issues with any of the people and quite liked a lot of the perks. 

But there were issues 

During training, you’re given no hands on experience or training with the system used to house all of the accounts known as STARSS. And I don’t mean that as in the training was bad on it, I mean you won’t see it until you’re out on the sales floor. 

A lot of the training modules were outdated and out of place, as the instructor complained. So it’s a gamble if you’ll get a good experience in training. However there’s not really that much complicated information. The entire conversation is more or less scripted so a large part of training is just learning to navigate the script program

The scheduling system was very nice. My particular location allowed you to change your schedule every week or just leave it the same. All depending on your needs. 

One last thing is the pay structure. The amount listed in the ad is also a lie. You will not be making $12, $13, maybe not even $11 or $10. Their pay system is as follows 

Base pay is minimum wage. If you work 93% of your schedule they’ll include an extra dollar bonus on payday. If you work at least 30 hours a week you’ll be entitled to an additional dollar bonus on payday. Note that on DailyPay you’ll be able to withdraw up to 50% of your check before payday but that only reflects the minimum wage base pay. So this means that if you live in a state that has a  $7.25 minimum wage, you can only make up to $9.25. But if you live somewhere that has a $10 minimum wage, you can make $12/hr. 

Dress code is extremely confusing. I was told it was business casual, so slacks, dress shirt, black shoes. On the phone to confirm placement in the training class I was told polo shirts were also okay. On the sales floor people were wearing overalls, jeans, tie dye hoodies, t-shirts etc

You aren’t allowed to have personal belongings and desks are not assigned. Because of the way contracts work, the client will not allow you to have your personal phone, smart watch, or any kind of writing materials that may be used to copy down private information on your person. 

So you’re told to keep it in your car or place them in company lockers, which you’ll need to provide a lock for. (No assigned lockers, if there isn’t one open then you’re out of luck). Or at least this is what I was told. There were people on the sales floor who had their phones all over the place and just blatantly on their desks. As you may understand from my review, there is a LOT of rules given to me that didn’t apply to most other people 

The company works very hard to try and make up for the fact that the initial job ad is a lie and the word itself sucks. If you can learn to live with those two things then you’ll really like your time with the company. I personally could not get past the lies and will not continue employment with this company. 

I was out of work due to covid for a good year, finally was able to find a WFH through ResultsCX. You do not get to choose what company you work for, they just email you and tell you what company they chose for you. My company was Wellcare (Medicare Advantage Plans). Training was a mess, multitude of tech issues, broken links, non-working logins. It took us over half the training just to finally get in to some of the programs that we were told to download Day 1 due to broken links or programs. Management was everywhere, not really organized. I told them from day one that I am diabetic and have a very weak immune system, so when THEIR programs were messing up my high end PC, they blamed my equipment and told me to come on site. I refused going on site due to me getting sick super easy. 
I will go through everything I went through (This is specific to Wellcare through ResultsCX)
Training- Day 1 was about 40 of us, each eager to finally have a WFH job that seemed good. ($12/hr for training.) The position was for English Speaking CSR for the medical parts of Medicare Advantage Plans (We did not deal with ordering prescriptions or setting them up nor did we sell the plans, we were strictly Doctor Appointments, Claims, Questions about coverage and Material Requests we also helped them find Doctors, Pharmacies and such that were in their coverage plan). 
Training was every day 8-4:30 with two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch. But we were told to be in the Microsoft Teams Meeting by 7:30. Everyone had to be on camera, with full face showing, absolutely no distractions. We lost probably about 10 people the first day either through their own choice or by too much happening in the background (Parents taking care of kids or busy life). 
Most days were spent 8 hours of just going through power points, reading off slides. Taking notes, answering Knowledge Checks. After the first couple weeks of this and when we finally got in to everything we started doing roleplay scenarios. Trainer definitely chose favorites and a lot of people got left out or were chosen too often. So by the end of training for our "Call Certification" a lot of people just failed to know what to do because the trainer never chose them to be part of the roleplay. It took me a week and a half to get in to Citrix which is the MAIN program you gotta use to access literally everything for WellCare. I think I went through a dozen password resets "are you sure that's your password?" "did you put a capital symbol and number?" etc etc. Trainers/upper management were often rude and very close friends with each other so a lot of talking between them on/off camera. 

First Week of Work- By the time training was done and we were starting our first week, there was only 10 of the 40ish we started with. Everyone was split up to be under different managers after we got everything right. About 2 or 3 of us per manager. (First week is done completely with your people you graduated with before being split up). First couple hours of the day were spent preparing, asking questions and making sure everything is working. Then from 12pm-4pm was spent being on the phone, and we could message in our meeting if we needed help. Last 30 minutes were spent in a meeting discussing what happened (Again favorites were played and so they were picked first and took up most this time). Slowly they eased us in to our actual schedules and management even wiggled in that our pay would go to $14/hr. My schedule was 12pm-8pm every day with two 15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch, off Thursday and Saturday. Days consisted of non-stop calls. When a call was ended you had a 13 second break to catch your breath then the program automatically put you back to open for calls, which was usually instant. IF you were lucky on a slow day there was 2-3 minutes between calls. If the situation escalated luckily you could just transfer them to the MET (Member escalation team). Other than that, calls lasted from 2 minutes to 40 minutes. The program used luckily told you word for word what to say, but you just needed to know how to get to where you were going. 

Last Week of Work- Being locked in my office 8 hours a day 5 days a week is kinda numbing. Especially taking non-stop calls that pretty much were all the same thing "what pharmacy can I go to?" "can you send a new ID card?" "why do I have this bill?" etc etc. 
Maybe the insurance line of business just wasn't for me because it is absolutely heartbreaking to explain to an 80 year old person that they owe $9,000 to the hospital because they went to the wrong one. Or explaining that their life saving medication is gonna be $300 a month when they barely make that much on their fixed income. 
My manager gave me multiple wrong answers on very important details for the people I was talking with. I would always try to find the answer on my own through provided materials but eventually I could not find it and would ask my manager. She gave me the answer I needed, then about an hour or two later said "actually that was wrong THIS is the answer" long after that call was over. It probably cost some people their entire life savings just because my manager was unable to get the right information to me. 
In order to access the company programs and such, you needed to use a remote desktop. A week before my last day, that program decided to never work. A fresh install, resetting options, and just about everything IT threw at me did not fix it, after a while it just seemed to work, but this took days of calling out and talking with IT. Then eventually, the program used for the calls just gave me "Ghost Calls". I could not hear them or they could not hear me, or both. But of course that was my equipment's fault and not the program! 
Then finally after torment from hours of constant calls, program issues and unhelpful management, I just up and said "I'm seeking a job elsewhere". (of course I had another job lined up at this point). 

TL;DR If you are desperate for something to work from home, do this. Otherwise avoid like the plague due to disorganization and incompetence. 

At first I thought The Results Company was a dream job and I was so lucky....NOT! The group I was hired with we were hired for the first over night shift . Once we were done training we were to then go by our regular schedule that we had picked in the beginning. Yep that didn’t happen because the first night we showed up we were told they forgot to hire us managers and the schedule that I specifically chose ( that worked with also my children’s schedule and able to have baby sitters and etc ) we were told at the very last minute that we could not go by that schedule now and we had to now go from the 10 hour shifts 4 days a week that we now had to work an 8 hour shift 5 days a week which I could not do due to not having a baby sitter for the one day I was suppose to have off and because they literally told us the same night I thought I was starting my regular 10 hour shift 4 days a week ( so literally at the very last second ) which I could not come in that 5th day and got punished for it. You also have to deal with the unprofessional team leaders & supervisors that if you aren’t their buddy or a favorite of theirs you will literally be harassed every day just waiting for the stupidest thing to write you up for. Also from HR to the supervisors nd team leaders they had no idea what they are doing. You could ask them al the same question and you would get 5 different answers. So none of them knew what the heck was going on in this darn place. A bunch of quacks trying to run a business with their heads up their butts. You would get written up for not having long enough sleeves and exposing your bra strap but at the same time they are writing you up their little buddy will come up with her butt and crotch practically showing and not a darn word would get said. This is the most unprofessional racist group of people that are suppose to be managers and team leaders & supervisors who you looked up to and to help you become better at your job but yet they all are incompetent & practically useless and they’re there to literally make your life a nightmare. I would run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of this NIGHTMARE they call The Results Company!!!! Literally from supervisors/team leaders all the way to HR is horrible & seem like the place is being run by a group of people without THEIR BRAINS!! This company doesn’t look at you like an employee. They look at you like your scum, like you’re at the very bottom and we are in higher positions than you. But what they need to realize is “WE” are the key part of their business success because “WE” are the ones who day in & day out talk to the customers & resolves their problems and keep them coming back which puts money in the companies pocket & keep it a success. This company is just disgusting and full of a bunch of arrogant monkeys running around with authority they let go to their head. Get your stuff together THE RESULTS COMPANY! Look at us employees as humans & like we are apart of the business and success instead of a bunch of easy replaceable little robots!!!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A JOB AT THIS COMPANY. I PROMISE YOU EVENTUALLY YOU WILL REGRET IT ( unless your buddy buddy with the higher ups, then your job will easy as can be and you’ll get away with murder & probably won’t even have to work barely. )

Before the new management things were fine. Now your hours get cut if you miss a day of work and will remain that way for 6 months. There is no flexibility at this job what so ever. Even if you’re sick or have a emergency they still don’t care and will cut your hours regardless. They said you can make these hours up but that is not  Guaranteed  to happen because they would need open availability to fit you in for extra hours to make up what hours you lost. Under this new management ResultsCX have went downhill and their turn over rate is horrible. When your supervisor pulls you for a QA review, you’re told that your calls are auto fails for not saying something you had no idea you had to say because they do not announce these things before deducting your points for your QA score. I can tell that they have no idea what it is like to be a customer service rep because they have a ridiculous call handle time frame of 8 mins but require so much work done within those few mins. ResultsCX are horrible and don’t care about their employees, they only care about the members and it’s not always about them. I thought I could see myself working at this company for a long time because It seemed like a good catch but after being at this job for a year and especially after they changed their management I don’t even see myself lasting to December at this job. This is job is strictly just for you to gain experience to put on your resume, nothing more. They require so much work but do not pay you good enough for all the work load. There benefits are horrible and they only give you 4 days of PTO per year but you cannot miss any days for that whole year to get your full 4 days of PTO. Even if you have PTO available it is almost impossible for you to get them to approve your PTO. Also, if you have unpaid time off leave, they still will not accept your request to have the day off. I would love if the old management comes back but unfortunately that will not be happening. This is ResultsCX first year of having agents work from home due to COVID. So it’s safe to say that they don’t know what they’re doing either or how to conduct a business. They also have a lot of software issues. So they stopped allowing us to remain logged into their system so they won’t have to pay us for their system issues. Today, we were made aware that we can get penalized for taking bathroom breaks that are not taking on our lunches and breaks, which is highly ridiculous. This company literally wants us to be robots. When they schedule your hours per day they change based upon call volumes per day. I have many days throughout the week where my schedule does not allow me to have my first break until 5 hours later. This company is so unfair and unorganized. When things go run your supervisor blames it on you so they won’t get in trouble. The only good thing about this place is you get to choose your hours if you request for a change early but other than that everything else is horrible ever since they’ve been under new management. Once I get another job I will never come back to this one. I hope this review helps anyone who is currently or in the process of working for ResultsCX. Good luck to you all. 

DialAmerica is a telemarketing company. Their agents conduct outbound sales calls to both current and potential new customers across the US. My experience was conducting "New Prospect" calls, but I do have some knowledge of what's known as "Customer File," calls made to those people who have already bought from DialAmerica.

DialAmerica sells magazine subscriptions over the phone. Its almost as bad as it sounds. The silver lining is that a portion of these sales go to one of any number of worthwhile charities such as Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Special Olympics, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As well as some not-so-worthwhile charities like Mothers Against Drunk Driving (I invite you to do the research into the bureaucratic money sink they've deteriorated into). I think its about 15% that goes to the charities.

The job isn't fun. Its dull. It can be frustrating. Fortunately, you have a pretty detailed script to follow for nearly every conceivable situation or objection you could encounter. And... the script works. I have an extensive amount of sales experience from cars to timeshares and everything between, but people responded to the script read letter-for-letter more positively than any ad libs I may have used. I give DialAmerica a lot of credit for that.

Shifts are typically 4-5 hours 5 days a week. Pay is an hourly base plus commission that actually can get pretty high. I befriended an individual while working there who happened to be the top New Prospect sales agent at our location and he routinely earned commission that brought his hourly pay to as much as $22. That said, I would estimate the median hourly base + commission to be closer to $11/hour.

Management is friendly, if a bit close-minded. But their script works, so I can't blame them too much for religiously sticking to it.

The biggest problems I had were of a moral and values nature. There were many instances in which I was instructed to intentionally mislead a customer regarding the methods and amounts that a charity would be receiving as a result of their commitment.
When I started hearing more and more people tell me how much of a problem they had with a charity that I had mentioned, I became curious and researched the issue. It turns out that some of the charities that DialAmerica does business with are not reputable or are not nearly what they once were. It became very difficult to convince people that 15% of their $29.99 subscription would go to help people in need, when in reality it would likely be less than 1% that would make it past the salaries of executives and other operational costs to the people that are actually in need.

To put it in perspective, I used to sell timeshares and felt great about it, but working for DialAmerica severely ate away at my conscience.

I really don't like leaving negative reviews, especially since the company isn't entirely bad. However, if you're an adult looking for stability, this might not be the right place for you. The hours are inconsistent—if the company is overstaffed, you might be sent home or have your schedule changed last minute because they don't want to pay for shifts. I've seen schedules altered with less than 48 hours' notice, and it's not uncommon to end up working just two or three days in a week due to their poor management.

In addition to the unpredictable schedule, the company has a high turnover rate because of their lack of organization and consistency. They're always hiring because of this, and it speaks to the overall management issues. The pay is also misleading. They advertise $13-$17 an hour, but the base is actually $10. You only earn the extra $3 for being on time and working weekends. For the $17 rate, the base is $14, and the additional pay is still tied to punctuality and weekend shifts.

If you have a family or bills, it’s tough to rely on this job. The pay fluctuates based on how many hours you get, and with constant schedule changes, it can make it difficult to support yourself and your loved ones. It's easy to get hired and earn a paycheck, but unless you're aiming for a management role, team lead, or training position, it may not be sustainable for long-term financial stability.

Additionally, there is an expectation to upsell, and no matter what role you’re in, you’re required to follow a script and provide rebuttals if customers decline an offer. You can’t just accept a “no”; you need to get two “no’s” before you can move on.

On the positive side, they pay weekly, but that’s about the extent of it. My goal isn't to bash the company, but I hope they can improve their approach to better accommodate adults who are supporting themselves and their families.

I'm not trying to bash the company, but if they want to improve employee retention and performance, they need to recognize that we are people with responsibilities and families to support. It's hard to meet our goals when there’s so much instability, poor management, and inconsistency. Additionally, the training is rushed—only lasting a week—because the focus seems to be more on getting people on the phones to generate revenue rather than properly preparing employees for success. It often feels like the priority is the company's profits instead of setting employees up for long-term success.

As a company, please don't view this as a personal attack, but rather as constructive criticism. I encourage you to re-evaluate your business practices and make necessary adjustments to build a company that supports its employees while still generating revenue in a sustainable and effective manner. I do hope management reads this review.

Fair warning to anyone who is considering a job at DialAmerica- do not accept this job unless you are already financially stable and just need something to get you out of the house, are looking for a little bit of extra pocket money, or are a full-time student. This is not a job that will give you the means to financially provide for yourself and your needs. The truth is it is extremely unlikely you will ever make more than $9 an hour here- it will not offer you a liveable wage. You also don't get any type of benefits that could compensate for the poverty-level wages here. No type of insurance, no PTO, sick time, nothing. 

This is the only job I have ever had where the longer you work there the less you get paid. Pay is constantly changing and the people in charge of payroll are consistently lowering incentives and base pay because they do not know how to properly run their business and keep going over their budget. Incompetent management poorly affects the employees here. 

They will push you to do certain programs you have no interest in doing under the premise of receiving an extra $1/2 hourly raise. I spent weeks studying for an insurance license and taking multiple tests. For awhile I did receive an additional $1 extra. I was informed a few weeks ago they would no longer be paying that out as they are going over budget. Again, you are constantly punished and put further into financial ruin because of mismanagement.

When you are hired, you are hired under the premise that most employees are making $15-$18 an hour, when in reality, it's a maximum of 3 total employees in the whole building who even hit $13/$14 an hour, regularly. To make decent money at this job you need to get in a good amount of overtime, which is rarely even offered. 

They offer certain incentives for schedule adherence, working night shift, etc. You will never get them. Every week I am in the site manager's office chasing my check, pointing out the discrepancies in my pay. Every week they are having to correct my pay and even then they never end up paying me the full amount that is owed.

On top of the horrible pay system, it's also a fairly toxic work environment.  The leadership here lacks completely. The supervisors are either old and completely out of touch and don't know how to properly assist their agents, or just completely rude. There is a very large number of agents who have had to file grievances over a particular supervisor's incessant bullying. 

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it's very flexible with your schedule. You basically have the ability to set yourself any schedule that you want. 




I usually don't do this but someone has to tell the whole and ugly truth. Management treats you like a 15 year old who snuck out to see her gf and then snuck back in at 2am. While I enjoy The Results Companies in whole, I don't appreciate how things were managed this year. There's a lot of immature mentality in reference to clicking up. This is not high school or prison and abuse of power deserves disciplinary action. None of the supervisors agree on how to handle anything nor do they give straight answers when you ask them anything. There is definitely changes to rules from the time they come from corporate to the time they get to the floor supervisors to benefit their personal will rather than that of the company. There is no benefit to the clean room ideal. While I understand the seriousness of protecting PHI and HIPPA, it is clear that the clean room was a wasted effort. Supervisors still give you printed out info, which goes against the entire idea of a clean room. Not to mention that if I were a single parent with no outside help and I returned home to find my child was murdered, I'd be highly upset. This is not the 1930s. Furthermore, one can not properly manage their time adherence without being able to have access to time i.e a cell phone. If I'm going OFF the floor with my cell phone in my pocket, I don't need to be pulled to the side and rudely told that i should buy a watch to keep track of time. First of all, who says I can afford it and second, it shows complete disregard for the employee. That puts me in a situation to either sit constantly at my desk or ask my supervisor to come and get me so I'm not being put in a financial bind. Im pretty sure my supervisor has more important things to do than play father time for me. We must do better and progress forward in time, not backwards. Also, the lockers were a wasted effort. Nobody trusts them, some people didn't use them and others didn't get one at all. Moving them from downstairs to upstairs 3 weeks before the expected termination date (dec 7th) made no sense either. Why bother at that point? Lastly, do not waste my time, the trainer's effort or the companies funds to train me in multiple skills if you will simply put me on outbound every day all week long. Furthermore, there shouldn't be special treatment to any agent just because AEP is slow. I worked hard as well and deserve to be treated equally. If you're offering commissions for enrollments, it should be for ALL sales agents, not just the agents in Pittsburgh(and I'm not talking about $1 either because I can pretty much guarantee that's not their commission). That's favoritism and it makes you look bad as a business professional. Do NOT work for Highmark 065 at The Results Companies

Five months hence, Results-CX finds itself navigating turbulent waters, characterized by a trajectory of operational changes that have regrettably steered the company towards a state of disarray. What once stood as a bastion of stability has, regrettably, deteriorated into an environment fraught with uncertainty, prompting an exodus of personnel, both voluntary and involuntary, amid escalating levels of workplace stress.

One glaring concern pertains to the absence of sick leave, a foundational pillar of any comprehensive benefits package. This deficiency places undue burden upon employees, compelling them to rely solely on accrued paid time off (PTO) for essential medical appointments. However, the capricious nature of PTO approval, coupled with frequent denials despite adherence to established policy, only compounds the frustration and disillusionment experienced by staff members.

For individuals grappling with chronic health conditions,  the absence of adequate support mechanisms within Results-CX raises legitimate concerns regarding the impact of workplace stress on personal well-being. The apparent lack of concern exhibited by upper management further underscores the need for a reevaluation of the company's approach to employee welfare.

Amidst these challenges, the opportunity to work remotely and the camaraderie fostered within teams serve as notable silver linings. However, the pervasive sense of neglect emanating from higher management, reminiscent of a high school-like environment where substantive issues are often trivialized, tempers these positives.

Additionally, the cumbersome process associated with securing promotions and the inconsistent fulfillment of promised salary increases serve as further points of contention. The arbitrary nature of rule changes compounds these frustrations, contributing to an atmosphere of uncertainty and unease.

In conclusion, while the prospect of remote work and positive team dynamics may hold appeal, prospective employees are cautioned to exercise discretion before affiliating with Results-CX. The absence of sick leave, unpredictable PTO practices, and a pervasive culture of disregard for employee welfare necessitate careful consideration before committing to employment with this organization.

As most people expected when the pandemic began remote work was some thing everyone liked the idea of but we all knew there was no way of knowing what would happen about coming back on site. I began this job at the beginning of the pandemic and towards the end when vaccines were being given out is when the company started grading calls in a very petty unrealistic way. “You stuttered fail. You did it right but I don’t like it fail. You sneezed fail” I had anxiety to take calls eventually because it was obvious they wanted me to fail. Once they want you to go all they have to do is fail all your calls. Training from day one was awful. Apparently we were one of the first teams to be trained remotely and they were very unprepared. We couldn’t hear because we got a batch of recalled headphones that was A joke the screens would go out and you couldn’t see so you weren’t able to follow directions and they just expected you to finish the training and go to the call floor with what you knew. Your calls would be graded as fails no matter what. Your lack of knowledge was no excuse you failed the call. Repeat training was not an option. Supervisors couldn’t make up for that and had no empathy for you they obviously were just doing what they were told from their boss. At first for about six months there was some leniency but towards the end nothing and it seems a lot of people were let go because of all the fails or told if they couldn’t come in for training they couldn’t work. Best work life balance I’ve ever had in my past I did retail that’s the first time I’ve ever had weekends off and a Monday through Friday 9 to 5 they were very flexible and had lots of different schedules but in the end it really didn’t matter if they couldn’t show you the right way to do your job and it’s awful feeling like you have no control over being able to do your job right no matter how hard you try. Got kids and that’s why I took the job work from home so I couldn’t come on site. I really never wanted to the reviews for it are awful. Pay was decent and the client offered bonuses for working OT benefits where amazing but it all won’t matter if you can’t do your job right.  
Take responsibility for your lack of training and don’t claim your employees for your poor choices. Invest in training and your investing in yourself and the employees. Learn how to balance constructive criticism with praise and encouragement.
