I got the job, and the owner offered me the salary I was looking for . being that I was coming from Accounting. The manager they chose , seemed a little bitter. I mean she was like a hog. hounding me everyday , she was weird , she even sat me right next to her lol. so i knew what was going on. i put my best foot forward and did my job. I was in the hospital due to my Graves’ Disease that management was well aware of . considering that I still exceeded my goal. Now the next week i get fired with out reason. not only did i feel harassed everyday. i also felt used . i did my best and performed for the company only to get fired. this company hires people they can take advantage of and humiliate . they show favoritism . the people that work there seem to not have important goals outside of their every day job , and im just not one of those people. sad that i had to part ways, i felt motivated while doing my job. its just that big man looking lady as a boss that runs that place , i believe when running a company you should not have any intimidation or jealous bone in your body. 

I really enjoyed working here. The staff was helpful and pleasant. It was a positive work environment and when I became ill they were beyond accommodating for my doctor appointments. The job itself was fairly easy. I think they have advancement opportunities, but I think you need to ask for a promotion to be considered. They like go-getters for those positions and I was happy just doing my regular 9-530 shift so I am not sure how easy it is to get promoted. I didn't speak with the boss often, just the office manager and supervisors and they are pleasant to deal with. I think this is a great job for people who want to work and make decent money. Not a place for trouble makers. They are clear from my first day about that and they mean it and that is refreshing.

I've been working for AvanteUSA for 5+ years. The employees are like an extended family. The manager is a fair and accommodating.  Like any call center we do have a high turnaround but the employees that stick it out would agree that the office is a positive place to work. We work Mon-Fri with all weekends off. The call center environment is changeling but this is not uncommon with debt collections. I would say the hardest part of the job is how routine it becomes once you get comfortable. Most days are enjoyable because my coworkers are amazing.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great people to work with.  Management was very supportive when a family emergency came and i needed to take time off. They will always work with there staff. Great Christmas party as well! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It’s collections! Prepare to get yelled at! Just stay grounded!!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They had just moved to a new building . It was a little tight for me. But nice building 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
One call after the other.  Never a dull moment!  Lots of laughs.

The best way to describe working for AvanteUSA at the Salem, Nh location from my experience is toxic. Little to no benefits, no direct deposit paper checks only and sometimes arrive a day late, no pto until after a year then only 5 days paid until the following year then you get 10, I have witnessed and experienced for myself many employees unhappy with management 


While allowing for business to be done in a seamless fashion. AvanteUSA also believes it is important to provide timely reporting that will allow management to have, at their fingertips, data as needed. Our custom reporting capability provides clients with the data they need in any format required. While recovery and successful completion of unpaid claims is the ultimate goal, AvanteUSA prides itself on its ability to go "above and beyond" when servicing our clients.

The most enjoyable part of my job was meeting my quota when people paid faithfully.

It is a great job but don't get sick because you will more than likely get fired even if you have documentation! Also there are too many people that try to be the boss there when there is clearly supposed to be 1 manager. The manager will tell other employees about your job performance when that is supposed to be only between the 2 of you

The job itself is fine but there is so much favoritism and employees are not treated equal. Management positions are family related and the sister who is a supervisor is so rude, unprofessional and talks about everyone who works there. If youre looking for confidentiality you wont find it here. Any conversation had with mgmt is repeated to other employees. The atmosphere is full of drama and toxic.

This is by far the best company I have ever worked for they help you succeed.  The bonus structure can double and triple your income and is very obtainable. The hours are great and the owners are amazing, I have worked here for almost 8 years and have always been treated very fair, I work very  hard for this company and the rewards have been amazing.
