Has won top workplace four years in a row and it shows.  The president is very in tune to the field and office, great to work with.  They listen when something is wrong and act on it, our manager recently left and our new manager is doing well.  Their safety program is really good and office is clean, colorful and modern.  A large kitchen and place to eat with tv's in center of building and breakrooms in every corner of the building.  We have outside events regularly (ice cream truck, food trucks, etc.) and just hit 900 employees, they continue to grow.  

Upper management needs to break up the nepotism. When everyone in HR is related there is no accountability for their actions. Allowed to show up late, abuse sick/vacation time and make questionable ethical decisions. Stuck in "we've always done it this way." syndrome.

Baker Group is more than willing to go above and beyond with benefits. They pay even more by going through the union. The safety all across the board is refreshing that a company is willing to put in the manpower and hours of meeting to do so.

Company had desire to grow and increase customer base. Was conscious of ship and completion dates and requirements for equipment. Sometimes didn't seem interested in using all skills of employees.

This is a good company to work for. There is a lot to learn and lots of people that are willing to teach others. This is a company that cares about their employees and helping them advance.

Baker Group is a family environment type of employer, very friendly, open and supportive of their employees.  Their corporate management structure is down to earth and frequently solicits feedback from the workforce.

Work was great compensation was good benefits were outstanding management was fun to be around and co-workers were really helpful an overall good experience and a great place to work

There are a lot of good things about Baker Group, I think they genuinely try to support the field people. Overall the company is moving in the right direction, but it’s grown so rapidly there are some issues.
