I came to BCS from a large publicly traded physician group after working there for over seven years.  During the hiring process, I expressed the importance of working with a company where patient care is top priority, as well as the importance of my family and a work/life balance.  I was assured that their principles aligned with mine.  Well, almost two years later, I have to say that they were not over exaggerating.  There are too many ways to state how they have exceeded my expectations, but I will share one.  During these tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic they have kept everyone on, even though revenue coming in is just a fraction caused by restrictions put in place within our industry reducing the amount of face to face interactions within long-term care.  The owner and CEO of BCS understands that there are a lot of families connected to his business and did not want to disrupt their home life.  As for patient care being a top priority, BCS started a nonprofit to be able to provide services in rural areas as they feel everyone deserves access to care.  During this pandemic, BCS distributed tens of thousands of masks to facilities when there was a shortage to help with patient and staff safety.  Since our social workers were sidelined, BCS offered direct calls with seniors in LTC/ALF/IL for talk therapy knowing it would be difficult for residents to not be able to see loved ones. 

Our clinicians are not given quotas.  This allows them to practice at their own pace and gives them the freedom to create their own work life balance.  

The whole office, from senior management to administrative staff to our clinical staff, has been great to work with.  They took time to train me and are always willing to help. 

All and all, I am a creature of habit.  It was a difficult decision to make a change like I did.  However, I am happy I made the change and am glad to be part of the BCS family. 


I read a few negative reviews of BCS here on indeed and question if these are or were even actual employees. I have been a clinical psychologist with this company for over 12 years and during that time they have always treated me fairly and been very supportive. The company is very flexible in terms of time (I myself travel a couple months a year) and I Truly believe administrative staff will work with anyone when they need time off. 

BCS has grown a lot over the past 12 years it started with a handful of workers and now we have spread into several states. With that there can sometimes be growth issues but in my opinion the company is always making an effort to reach out to its staff, embrace quality improvement and actually make a difference in their employees lives- I know they have mine!

Actually, far from a profit driven company, this company’s growth and success has happened because of employee dedication and a team of professionals that establish positive relationships with the population and the facilities we serve. That said, I would encourage any professional or potential employee to consider seriously working for this company.  

I have been with the company for about 12 years, and I think it and I have matured in the ways I do my work and the way the company helps and supports the employees.  I think there were some "could have been better" times, but these seem to have been worked out and things do seem to be smoother.  Problems - especially during these pandemic times - are addressed quickly and with an inclusive look at what is best for the employees as well as the populations we serve.  I do think that I can go to some folks in the company when there are some issues, and I do think that they both listen and seek to find a fairly good solution.  I do enjoy working with most of the professionals and staff at the facilities.  I think that the company and management work well with a variety of people, and that is not always easy to do!

I've worked for BCS for many years now. I took the job because I needed a flexible schedule with my family demands. As my family grew, the demands grew and when I had to make changes to my schedule for any reason, the admin staff were very supportive. I came from a job where any interaction with administration/bosses was bad, and found that the culture of this company is completely different. Interactions with admin/bosses no longer cause a nervous reaction. The company provides thoughtful compensation and works hard to keep employees happy. 
Job responsibilities include going to a nursing home and checking in with the social work team. Usually they will provide a list of patients that need to be seen. Clinicians must see patients, write a note and submit the note via EMR. Because we use chromebooks, it is easy to do much of the work from home. 

I am very grateful for the opportunity to work for BCS.I find enjoyment in the work I am able to do and satisfaction in helping my co-workers as well as support from management. Several years ago I took a leap of faith to leave the only job I had loved (working in LTC). I knew that I wanted to stay in LTC, however, needed something new. Working for BCS has given me just that to continue working in LTC. This company has supported me and given me the opportunity to excel in my abilities and gain new strengths and knowledge. Working with amazing people is the highlight of it all. To know that you work with a team of people who support you and know that you are worth more than you could think. To know that my opinion matters is something I am truly grateful. 


Working for Bcs affords a clinician with a significant degree of flexibility and latitude with regards to when where and how they provide services. There is a solid infrastructure and good internal support which allows the practitioner to be able to work actively towards helping empower clients and customers. Leader ship consistently seeks to improve quality control as well as aid its clinicians in remaining prolific, ethical, and customer service oriented.  I have work for this company since it’s inception and have no plans to leave.  

I am an independent contractor for this company. The company is very flexible to work with. Everyone wants to see you succeed. The company provided for paid educational webinars during COVID. We were able to work via telemedicine during pandemic. The hardest part of the job is getting used to the charting/computer software program. Charting can be cumbersome and lengthy. I have to manage the amount of clients I see as the charting at the end of the day can be time consuming; but I have two days to complete the charting. The most enjoyable part of the job is visiting different nursing home facilities that have their own unique culture. 

I enjoyed the flexible schedule I could have if necessary. Hours were long, then I had to go home to complete notes. That was the most stressful part of the job. The highlight of my job was talking with the elderly patients. Most of the work places were, for the most part, nice, but there were some places that needed a change in management so the staff respected management as well as patients. I really wish part time employees were considered for PTO & compensation for any educational programs/conferences based on their time, reasonable phone & mileage/travel time.

Hired during Covid-19, therefore I believe my hiring process was a little different compared to most. Learning a new company and different facilities during a Pandemic has its challenges, however BCS has been right behind me and supportive with every step. Received caring phone calls from management after I contracted Covid-19. The typical day is flexible, which is great for a young family with school age children. Hardest part of the day can be the multiple emails that come through and coordinating schedules while trying to work the current scheduled day. 

Cohesive company, organized, sensitive to staff 
And patient. Friendly company, good response time to clinical support requests. Excellent continuing education opportunities. Very kind to offer staffs’ clinical skills by supporting enrollment in certified clinical programs by paying for these certifications. Main office especially María and Robbie are very supportive of requests and responds to calls immediately.
