When I first started working for BioPlus, they told me if everything went well, I could go WFH, and that they were going to be expanding in the state I was stationed in.  They were very welcoming at first was a very pleasant experience. They advised there is NO call quota and that they treat everyone like family. They even had company wide meetings so we could see how the Company was doing. But in reality there is a call quota which changes weekly from to 70 calls a day or 100 depends on what the management think is best. If your computer is messing up and youve reacted out to IT, Management will say youre not working, if you need a personal call or for some who have medical reasons to need to use the restroom more, they make you clock out completely till youre back. They do provide nice benefits and nice lunches for when they tell you to cut your lunch  to help support the call flow. They have a hard time keeping employees. most quit or transfer to a better managed Department. The systems work off and on, they advise to get the Patients info and call them back and then advise once the system is up to stay inbound, but if you try to reach out to the patients youll be advised your are avoiding inbound calls. They will also ask you to get work systems up before your shift without pay as well as trainings to do on your own time and wont give Reps time to actually learn the process. 

There 2-Hour Patient Acceptance Guaranteed gave a quick response to prescriber's and patients for critical, time-sensitive treatments.

A typical day at work with my last position (Appeals Department) I would work from a bucket. I would call the insurance companies to make sure they received all the documents for a PA. If the PA was denied I would fax appeal letter along with supporting documents to try and have denial turned around to approved.

I worked in a Fast paced environment.

Management was great. They would see that you got the proper tools to do your job. They promoted within.

I learned a lot about Hepatitis disease along with other diseases.

The hardest part of my job was convincing the insurance companies that it was crucial for the medications to be approved.

The most enjoyable part of my job was knowing I was helping sick people and most of all when I would get an appeal approved.

what you believe you learned? What I’ve learned after being here for sometime that this place is extremely toxic. They have unrealistic expectations. Supervisor always shifting blame on employees when productivity and quality is not good instead of taking accountability for the fact that they cannot lead the team at all. Management is also a joke and so are the supervisor and the lap dogs they called team lead.Work place culture is as I stated  toxic. They do not care about mental health and will work you until you are completely burned out. 
the hardest part of the job is tolerating the incompetent supervisor and the most enjoyable part of the job is clocking out. They do not live up to their Core values like they claimed they do. Please for the sake of your mental health and self respect please go work elsewhere. 

There were several people that had parents pass away. Some were given over a week of bereavement and yet others had to fight to get their 3 days.  Supervisors are definitely biased and are very hard to work with. They don’t understand what they are asking because they don’t know how to do my job.  Consistency in treatment of employees does not happen. There are supervisors that berate and degrade the employee. They don’t verify licenses and has a nurse that wasn’t a nurse! All those awards and ratings are false!!  I heard more about my supervisor’s love life than any work calls! And if you want to take vacation, you have to find your own coverage because that supervisor doesn’t know how to do my job and couldn’t step in to cover any area that was behind. 

What I really appreciated about BioPlus is their dedication to promoting from within. There are plenty of opportunities to cross-train, gain new skills, and grow professionally. I was able to advance from Team Lead to Manager within five years, which is something I’m truly proud of.

However, the environment tends to favor those who align closely with established expectations. From my experience, if you choose a different approach or direction than what leadership prefers, it can potentially limit your ability to apply or move into other internal positions. Speaking up or setting boundaries wasn’t always encouraged, and accountability for management challenges could sometimes fall unevenly. 

Overall, BioPlus was a great place to grow and learn — but it’s important to understand the company culture before deciding if it’s the right fit for you.

When I first started working here, everyone made it seem like it was going to be a great job, however after training it was a complete nightmare. 
   From supervisors not wanting to answer your questions, giving rude sarcastic responses for everything, and always pointing out every little thing that you didn't do or do exactly their way. They tell you one thing and then the next day you get told something else. Its like they keep changing their rules to better suit themselves. 

The stress from this job was not worth it!  They also will get onto you for just having to use the bathroom. The benefits were not really that great either in my opinion. This job made me miserable and it got to the point where I felt like no one valued me or respected me, so I just left. 

A typical day was getting to work 5 to 7 mins early to get breakfast. Log in to telephone queue to answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls. I learned how to navigate through numerous computer systems and internet applications need to perform my job duties. My co-workers were fun, team players, enthusiastic and had good morale. The hardest part of the job was not being able to assist patients who's insurance was accepted. The most enjoyable part of my job there was being able to assist patients, doctors offices, clinics, jails, and hospitals with filling medications needed overnight for patients,

The pay is good and they offer quarterly bonuses, however if you don't meet 100% of the bonus goal you get NOTHING. We were off the goal by 1.28% and got no bonus, and they didn't even communicate that to us until a month after we were expecting to get it. Communication sucks. The system CPR+ is outdated. Mostly all of the pharmacists are contract and wait month to month for it to be renewed and can lose their job at any second. Managers have no idea what they're doing, problems occur and they're just as lost as we are...always trying to find a scapegoat. 

If only the CEO knew how the managers treated their employees. Managers do not respect the employees and do not listen to suggestions/ideas. Managers lie to the employees to placate them and if you make a mistake you are yelled at in front of your team. Everything is a secret. If I could give a 0 star I would. The company doesn’t deserve any stars for the overall rating. It makes me wonder how they got to be on the top 100 companies in Orlando. Salaried employees take more than 2-15 minute breaks a day and they also take more than an hour for lunch.

Working remotely away from toxic coworkers and management.

Dealing with toxic and poor management who do not make objects or goal clear and obtainable.

I worked remotely so I was often just by myself unless it was on team calls.

Mostly laid back and opportunities to work with or in the local communities that I supported and solicited to.
