You have to worry about the managers talking about you behind your back. They only use you and show no appreciation. They act like they care but only care about how much you can do for them.  The drama there is so unreal. They make you feel bad if you don't want to do something. You will definitely be doing things way out of your job description. Also they claim to work as a team but there really isn't a team there. If you do get a job there don't expect to be trained properly and then you'll get in trouble because you weren't trained right. The place is a huge joke. Don't waste your time. There is no making a living there. The only thing you're going to get from that place is high blood pressure or a charge. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The residents are the best part of this job. And you get free breakfast,lunch or dinner

You might have to work short staffed. You are expected to do your job plus other people job that either sit in Manager's office or just refuse to take of some residents 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As long as you don't complain and dont questions why current people are not doing their job you won't have any problem.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Usually when you go in you will have to do your job plus other employees jobs.

This assisted living facility faces the industry-wide challenges of chronic understaffing and underpaid, which leads to overwork and high turnover. The situation is particularly difficult at evening/night, where a single nurse may be responsible for all residents, aided by only four resident assistants. This creates a demanding environment, especially given the high acuity of many residents who require significant care.

On a positive note, the management team at this London location is reasonably flexible and understanding. The residents are a mix of the lovable and the challenging, and while the facility itself is beautiful, it often feels like that beauty is only surface-deep at time. 

Upper management is all about the money, accepting residents they aren’t equipped to care for just to fill a bed, keeping hours as low as possible even if it means a short staff, hiring staff and giving little to no training… etc.
Nonetheless, the people who work with the residents try their best to provide them with care, some going above and beyond. 
But with a short staff, untrained new staff and a management who is not understanding of changing schedules, employees being sick etc.. it can be a difficult job. My advice would be only work here if you want experience or if you’re really in need of work. 

Poor management.. ! Awful uncaring owners that don’t not care about there residents or coworkers. The can’t keep people because of there negative attitude towards there coworkers or lower paying jobs. All about the money and fake image. Looks good on outside . But completely a mess Inside. Not enough aids to do laundry or even showers . Half the time no nurses. And residents pleading for there meds and pain pills while the director of nursing does nothing . It’s all a complete mess .. ! And that’s only half of it.. while there hiring all the time and for every position!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not a pleasant place to work at as it is understaffed and they do not care for the people that work there and they tolerate bullying and it goes unrepromanded

There is a consistent hostile worplace environment as employees gossip about each other consistently all the time.

Not good on any aspect whatsoever

A typical work day is busy and very stressful

The management here let the employees do whatever they want. And the employees bully each other, management doesn't care if their employees smoke in the residents room and take frequent breaks, they come late to work and leave early and their work isn't even complete. Management always has and excuse that they were busy, but they really weren't they either be on their phones or taking another break leaving the hard working employees to pick up their slack. Management knows and sees this but doesn't do anything.

Each day brings something fun and new, it is never boring. The management team and owners are wonderful and real people.  They will always take time to listen to you. The culture is one big family. The hardest part of the job is losing people that you grow attached to and their families. Seeing the smiles and joy you can bring to the lives of the people that live here is the BEST part of all.

This company has nothing but themselves in mind, it’s all about the money FOR THEM. They do not give raises,  they do not care about the employees, they have very high turn over it is rediculas!   Management shows  favoritism to both nurses and aides, which make a difficult working environment.  Not paid your worth at Bluebird!!  You would be better off looking somewhere else!!
