The job is pretty straight forward. The team is getting bigger so you do have to raise your hand if you want to learn or do other stuff. You do get to see how it all works.

The team managers are pretty cool and there are frequent happy hours or events which is good. The office has an open floor layout and an area with fun stuff to do like ping pong and shuffle board. 

Almost everyone works a lot hours probably closer to 50 hours a week. I think they should reconsider the hours.

They were working on setting up an HR team. I've personally never had an issue myself but I think that's important.. There is some flexibility with some things. Some things do need clear policies.

In working with BluShark, the majority of my time has been spent working alongside the CEO. He's an incredibly ambitious individual and it's quite evident in the work he does and expects from others. I really appreciate how he's pushed me to strive for better and for his direct involvement in the work I've done. He has been extremely understanding and accommodating with a personal issue that arose that prevented me from physically working in the office. Not only have I been able to continue working from home but he has made sure that I have all the proper tools and equipment necessary for me to succeed. His guidance has directly aided in my growth within the company and I am very thankful for the role that he has played in my career.

I have worked for BluShark since their creation, on a remote, part time, flexible schedule. The work that I do is constantly enlightening because the world of SEO is always changing. This creates a fast paced atmosphere, but the company also does a good job providing the team with training opportunities to best utilize the newest tools available. They also have a great network of people across the country to provide insight and tools to manage SEO. As a start up, there is room for growth and upward mobility; there is also room for collaboration and fun. There is a great company culture that enjoys outings regularly.

BluShark is a good company to work for those looking for a positive freelancer experience. They have a good system to send out articles, and when you need to edit your work, their directions are clear and easy to follow. The pay is good as well. My one major issue is that I took a one month break to study for the Bar Exam on their promise that I could resume my work after. When I returned a month later, they did not follow through on that offer. I understand the freelancer world is fluid and they had no legal obligation to hold the position, but it was an unfortunate end to an otherwise positive experience.

The company is growing and adding more people which does open up opportunities for growth.
They train people at different levels of experience if you show interest and the ability to handle bigger projects.
Coworkers are energetic and fun. People help each other out and hang out pretty often.
There is flexibility with your schedule but you do work a lot. Most people work 9 or 10 hour days.
The stuff you can learn ends up being very valuable.

Love working at BluShark, its a fun environment, you get a real tech start up feel. As with all newish companies things can change quickly and sometimes you need to adapt but that is what makes it interesting and provides for excellent career opportunities.

I have worked at BSD for 4 months and find everyone I work with highly professional and team-focused; they all highly engaged and keep each other accountable.  Management is very open to suggestions, new ideas and strategies.  

The work was very boring, and not very rewarding. There is a great work environment, mostly comprised of young adults (21-27 y/o).  The hardest part of the job was staying interested in the work and staying motivated. The work associated with SEO is very dry and very easy, and when you are doing it for 45-50 hours a week it becomes very boring.

I have really enjoyed working with my team at Blushark. I was relatively to this industry when I started and have learned so much from my team. The leadership here is really helpful and transparent about what it takes to succeed in the industry. 

Blushark Digital has been a great company to work with. I have been working with them since before they started and it has been fun helping and watching them grow into a successful small business. The staff is professional with great communication.
