I have been with Bookkeeper360 for a little bit now and continue to remain impressed. Being a part of a company in which leadership is very transparent makes me feel included. I do not feel like another cog on the wheel but instead a part of the solution and a driving force to accomplish our goals. I was just a part a company “town hall” meeting and our CEO provided full transparency into how we are performing as a company and laid out our goals. He even answered all of our questions along the way. To feel like I am a part of something is not something I have been used to in the past. To speak a bit about the management and culture: My manager is extremely supportive. We have one on one meetings and we align goals on team meetings. We have fun, engaging company chats also. I would say that the culture is very collaborative. We are all together to drive success for our clients! In addition to this we do some fun activities like game nights. My favorite thing to see is the conversation around and mentioning of our core values (DAHT). There is a lot of shout outs and recognitions of those that live out the company’s values. Overall, I am very pleased. I am excited to continue this journey we are on. One team one dream!

Work is well-structured with clear task allocation, open communication, and ample support from senior colleagues, making the day productive and organized.

• What you believe you learned:
I’ve gained valuable experience in managing time across various accounting tasks, working with different companies in multiple sectors, and adapting to various accounting software systems. This has highlighted the importance of clear communication and strong support systems in resolving challenges.

Management is supportive, with senior colleagues readily offering guidance and HR providing regular check-ins to ensure smooth integration and address concerns.

• Workplace culture:
The culture promotes collaboration, support, and inclusivity, even in a remote setting, ensuring a positive work environment.

• The hardest part of the job:
The occasional communication delays due to time zone differences can slow down progress, though it’s manageable.

• The most enjoyable part of the job:
The flexibility of remote work is highly valued, along with the supportive and collaborative environment created by colleagues and management.

In this role, one of the key lessons I've learned is how to manage my time effectively while balancing multiple priorities. Additionally, I’ve developed a more comprehensive understanding of financial systems, tax regulations, and the critical importance of precision in accounting.

Management plays a pivotal role in ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and that the team remains focused on meeting deadlines. Their ongoing support and clear communication have been integral to our success in completing tasks.
The workplace culture is collaborative and encourages continuous learning. Team members are always willing to share their expertise, creating a positive and educational environment.

The hardest part of the job is managing periods of high volume, such as tax season or year-end reporting, where the workload intensifies. However, the most enjoyable part is the sense of accomplishment when everything balances out, and financial records are completed accurately and on time.

Every week came with a completely different set of priorities and I honestly never had any idea what the actual focus was supposed to be, and asking around was pointless because nobody could clearly explain what the expectations even were. It felt like chasing a target that never stopped moving. You would spend days building something out only to get told it was completely wrong because leadership suddenly changed direction without warning or explanation. Not once was there any real understanding of what success in that role was supposed to look like. By month three I had completely stopped trying to get clarity because nothing ever stayed consistent anyway. Things would be one way Monday and completely flipped by Wednesday. Eventually I realized I could not keep functioning in that level of confusion and instability, so I started searching for something far more dependable.

Working at Bookkeeper360 has been a really positive experience. The leadership team is solid, and they know where the company’s going and communicate that vision clearly, which honestly makes a big difference. Even though we’re fully remote, the culture feels collaborative and supportive, not isolating. There’s a big focus on improving things (processes, tools, feedback loops), and it’s exciting to be part of that. I’ve seen real opportunities for growth here and have felt encouraged every step of the way.

I had a really great experience working with Bookkeeper360. The entire team, including the supervisor, was extremely helpful and supportive throughout my time here. I learned a lot and grew professionally thanks to their structured processes and encouraging environment.
The workflow at Bookkeeper360 is smooth and well-organized, making daily tasks efficient and manageable. One of the things I appreciated most was the management’s approach—there was never a sense of being overloaded, and they genuinely care about maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

I also enjoyed the challenging nature of the work—it kept me engaged and mentally stimulated, especially with tasks that required creative problem-solving and meeting deadlines, which I found both exciting and motivating.
Overall, it was a fulfilling and enjoyable experience working at Bookkeeper360, and I would highly recommend it as a great place to grow and thrive professionally.

We were completely overwhelmed by the nonstop flood of clients every single day. Understaffing was obvious since an eight hour shift could not even clear half the workload. Work had to be extended and while overtime pay existed, nothing compensated for the crushing exhaustion and constant stress. There were no bonuses, no perks, no incentive programs, and no training. It felt like we were hired to be used up because every time concerns about the workload were raised and the fact that long hours still were not enough, management ignored it outright. For all that effort and mistreatment, not even basic thanks or appreciation were offered for the sacrifices made and the long hours endured for very little pay. Basic human respect was missing entirely.

A typical day at Bookkeeper360 is fast-paced and collaborative, with constant interaction across sales, accounting, and advisory teams to support growing businesses. I’ve learned how to scale processes, lead through growth, and align revenue strategy with client success. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the speed of growth and evolving priorities. The most enjoyable part is building something meaningful with a strong team and seeing the real impact we make on our clients’ businesses.

60-70 hour work weeks are a thing of the past and the company does truly care about company culture/work-life balance. 

The Bookkeeper360 App is a cool piece of technology that is really starting to get traction with our clients.

Management is willing to get their hands dirty and help you through the challenging days that come with a fast-paced environment. 

My favorite part is the diversity of clients we work with. Being a past controller internally in a company you see the same things day in and day out, at Bk360 we have clients in many different industries and different lifecycles of their business. Some days may be challenges but hard work is always rewarded and recognized by management.
