As a long term employee I can definitely say that the Medicare unit is hopping. These usually are people from the community with high expectations and needs. Management " inspects what they expect". While some may see this as punitive I see it as they care about the clientele and the care we give. There is team work with management. For example the owner/administrator participles in manning a dining room as all managers have a meal assignments to pass hall trays at meals.We have never ran out of supplies and use quality products. 
While using agency staff is not optimal, I appreciate the fact that they have continuity with one agency and we almost always have the same agency staff. I have worked in other buildings that refuse to bring in agency and staff and clients suffer!
I know we had a near perfect survey and that it speaks volumes for the care we give here. 
In any work involving health care it is usually stressful. The key is to ride it out and not give up when we hit a rough patch.

There are many horrible people at this place. They might seem friendly and all, but boy do they know how to talk bad behind each other's back. As an NAR I was still learning when I was employed here. I felt drained and often insulted and I cried on my first of work due to so much expect ions from the nurses I worked with. MY FIRST DAY I felt that i was expected to know every little detail about the company, how it runs, and what the residents like and their routine. I even have a nurse who made an insulting remake while in front of the resident she insulted, lucky her, this resident is hard of hearing. Do I need to say more? My fellow NARs cried in front of me and all of us wanted to leave this place once we get certified. Speaking of being certified, this place expects you to have your NAC even though the state kept on extending the NAR four month rule due to COVID-19 and state testing being closed. How can someone get certified if the place they're supposed to get tested at is... closed? 

I had a very disappointing experience working at this facility. As the youngest employee, I often felt undervalued and unsupported, with little to no guidance from management or senior staff. There is a clear hierarchy in how employees are treated. Respect and support appear to be based on rank, and lower-level or newer employees are often overlooked. This created a work environment where concerns were not taken seriously, and staff were largely left to figure things out on their own. I also experienced frequent unprofessional behavior from some nurses, who would project their stress onto others in the workplace. This contributed to a tense and uncomfortable environment. Management was not very responsive to concerns and did not seem actively involved in supporting staff or improving workplace issues. Overall, I would not recommend working at this facility, especially for those new to the field or in entry-level positions.

It’s a good place to work. You have a chance to improve your skills and advance. Good leader ship the owner is fabulous. Who is also the administrator

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The lack of nurses and CNA‘s, which is nationwide at this time, but they always hire Agency and never leave their stuff short

Their fair and impartial and encouraged teamwork to build a great communication based facility

The main focus of Bothell Healthcare is patient’s care and safety

Independently working is most definitely the best when it comes to working for this company! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not enough communication around here. You survive by patience for those of authority because they make their stressful last minute  problems yours

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Normal as any other job would be I guess lol it has its up and downs but sticking through is worth it!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Clock in, stock cart, clean bathrooms, kitchen areas, and then the patience rooms. Plus many request during the day to fill in- between periods

I see why they are so short-staffed. This is not a well-stocked facility. 
Expect to bring your own vitals equipment because they either don't provide you with any or theirs is faulty.
Linens are always in short supply so you'll have to walk the entire facility looking for them. They need to buy more linens or do the laundry more often. 
The nurses are unhelpful because they're also extremely busy. 
The charting system they use here is also awful. You have to stand and chart at one if the 4 touchscreens. There are times when you have to wait for another CNA to finish charting and it resets the second your shift ends.

They pay well compared to other facilities but they don't give you the tools you need. 

Work-life balance
Busy and no respect for cna staff. Supervisors and some nurses treat cnas as machines

Pay & benefits
company insurance. Check the numbers on every pay check sometimes they take money from people

Management
management sucks mostly when they work on your checks they won't pay you for your sick leave when you request paid time off unless they feel like it. And now with covid no paid sick time leave

Overall
If you like to work really hard and fast paste and like to be mistreated and work your butts off like a machine then you can work here. Hardly get any break time and or lunch and theres no team work at all. The supervisors say they would help but the truth is they dont

Management is terrible and does not value the employees whatsoever. There's a reason that turnover is so high at this place. Don't bother voicing your concerns because no one in management will listen. They are very confrontational and belittling toward staff and will try to blame any and all mistakes on them. The admins were always hiding in their office and were very closed off. This is not a welcoming environment whatsoever and the culture is all about blame and shame. One of the worst work environments I have ever experienced. And another thing -- there's CARPET in the facility and I know for a fact that they are not very clean. 

Bothell Health Care was a great place to work for a first CNA job. Made a lot of friends and have fond memories there. However, having it be my first job, working on evening shift was necessary to take decent care of the residents. And sometimes, my set would easily become overwhelming with no end in sight due to bad management. The residents motivate you to try harder and most people at work were a joy to be with.

I got experience working there, but I don't think that is how a standard health care facility runs. You got to be tough to survive. 
Work place culture is very poor, there's the "higher-ups" and the "regular" staff. Just like oil and water. They rarely mix unless the later is being called in for questioning on very oftenly extremely trivial issues. Only enjoyable part of the job is the hard earned 30 minutes break and clocking out! 
But very poor leadership whatsoever!
