The best part of working at the company was the frontline staff and coworkers who continued showing up for residents despite difficult working conditions. Many employees genuinely cared about resident care and supported one another through stressful situations. The role also provided fast-paced experience in staffing, scheduling, and healthcare operations that helped build strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part of working at the company was the workplace culture and lack of consistent support from leadership. Communication between departments often felt reactive rather than collaborative, expectations were frequently unrealistic for the staffing levels available, and employees who raised concerns often felt unheard or unsupported. High turnover and low morale also created constant operational strain and added pressure to already demanding workloads.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In my experience, the work environment was high-stress, fast-paced, and often lacked clear communication and consistency from leadership. Morale among staff frequently appeared low due to turnover, staffing challenges, and limited support when concerns were raised. While there were hardworking employees who genuinely cared about residents and supported one another, the overall culture often felt reactive rather than collaborative, with a stronger focus on authority and control than teamwork and leadership development.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day as Staffing Coordinator involved managing call-outs, filling open shifts, coordinating schedules, handling last-minute staffing emergencies, and trying to maintain adequate coverage for resident care needs in a constantly changing environment. The role was very fast-paced and often unpredictable due to turnover, staffing shortages, and operational pressures. Much of the day involved multitasking, problem-solving, and acting as a liaison between nursing staff and leadership while managing frequent communication issues and high stress levels.

I hit the floor running as soon as I come into work. I greet my residents and staff every morning with a smile and Good Morning, spend time with my residents room to room delivering the daily activity sheet of the days planned activities and The Daily Chronicles and have conversations with ea one. I have scheduled activities every day as well as the in-between whether it helping out my co workers or residents. I am busy, a good busy from the moment I get to work until I leave.
I love my job, Bridge crest, my Administrator and DNS as well as my TEAM. I know that Bigger and Better is coming and I am very positive and optimistic about it. 

Bridge Crest Post Acute is like many other nursing and rehab rehabilitation facilities in the area. The staffing is run by numbers rather than acuity and so we are constantly understaffed although the numbers say that we're fine. The CNA's have a ridiculous wrap that makes it almost impossible for them to take care of everybody. The nurses can expect to have between 21 and 23 post acute patients. There is nearly impossible to get all your tasks done in the eight hour shift allotted and then they're asking for us to manage Our overtime but then giving us more work to do. My coworkers are wonderful but it's very stressful here. There have been five management team since 2019.

This place is horrible. The management is sneaky and calls their manipulation “sales tricks”, they are dishonest and put profits over resident care. Unsafe staffing ratios and the workload is way too much leading to unintended negligence. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother working here and do not put your loved one here.

Toxic work environment, bullying, and managment not willing to help.

Toxic and stressful. Too high of a workload and not compensated for it.

Stressful, too much work not enough time.

Bridge Crest Post Acute is a truly positive place to work. As a staff member, I feel supported, appreciated, and part of a team that genuinely cares about both residents and each other. The leadership team is approachable and responsive, and they do a great job creating an environment where staff feel heard and respected.

Supportive management team with extensive training and support.

Admissions, but we all work together as a team to get it done.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Being here is like being with family. Management is supportive and treats everyone with respect.

I’ve had the chance to grow here, learn new things, and feel supported along the way. The coworkers are kind, and many have become real friends! There’s a strong sense of teamwork. Management is approachable. Never hesitating to step in and help when needed. It truly feels good to work somewhere that values its people and creates an environment where you’re encouraged to do your best.

Working at this facility has been a positive experience. The staff is collaborative, and there is a strong focus on resident care. Leadership is supportive, and teamwork is encouraged across departments.  Overall, this is a good place to work and grow professionally.

Their way or the highway. Management is new and doesn't know the building. Wouldn't recommend to someone who wants to advocate for patient based care and will blame the stsff and glas light in the end.
