What is the best part of working at the company?

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The parts do not come out of the machine as good as promised the customer so you spend the time it takes to run the part then you could spend another 15 to 30 minutes deburing parts polishing and trying to do whatever you can to get your parts perfect!!! NO REWORK DEPARTMENT rework your own parts

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The pay is good benefits are not good no one wants to work the mandatory 50 hr. Work week and 75% of business is with one customer so when that one customer doesn’t order parts 75% of your revenue is gone makes the work environment not very efficient and first they cut salary people then they go after hourly 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on where you work for me in the beginning rates were set to high impossible to meet so I’m constantly behind getting parts finished 100%

C&S is a fast-paced environment and encourages team members to continuously grow and improve. Standards at C&S are high (in part due to producing product for highly regulated industries), but our teams work hard together and take pride in the work we accomplish. C&S is family-owned and we work hard to maintain a family environment even as we grow. 

I've been with C&S for 4 years and what I enjoy most is the opportunity to come to work and know I am working alongside people who share common values. My coworkers know my kids' names, have supported me in challenging times, and genuinely care about me. Most people spend more time at work each week than they do at home - it is awesome to be able to work with people who feel like family! 

I have loved my employment at C&S Machine. The family-oriented environment is very present as everyone is always looking out for one another and pushing one another to be the best version of themselves. I have built great relationships with those who I am surrounded by and it is as if they are my family. Managers and leaders throughout the company are always helping those around them and keeping a positive attitude.
C&S is ran productively and efficiently. The work spaces are top tier and allow for impactful work to always take place due to their cleanliness and organization. It is obvious that C&S cares about their employees and wants them all to strive. Working at C&S has been an amazing experience for me.

Management Is very weak, don’t have a clue.what’s going on. They’re just a bunch of barking dogs with no leadership qualities whatsoever. Training is a joke and the cell leaders belittle other employees. Lots of backstabbing, can trust very few people. Job is highly stressful making it an even more negative work environment. HR has an obsession with their “holier than thou” core values.  Fair amount of turnover so can see why they’re always hiring.

You will not find a cleaner, more organized and technology advanced machine shop in this area.  The plant is clean, air conditioned, air filtered etc. 

The machines are new and new Cells being added each year.  Love the opportunity to learn new things and have advancement opportunities. 

C & S Machine is a great place to work and there are alot of advancement opportunities as we have been growing.  The benefits, health plan, 401K, Wellness and Training / Development are excellent.

It is a fast paced environment with continuous improvement mindset.



The pay is very good. The rates of production are ridiculous at 90% of machine cycle time. Quite often you are running 2 to 4 machines and have a lot of hand deburr work to complete. Between short cycle times, hand work, inspecting parts, it is unreasonable. I made it 3 weeks short of a year. I could not convince myself to stay the last 3 weeks to earn vacation pay. I took a job for $4 less an hour and it was the right decision.

I have Interned the past two years, from in the shop to the office. I have never had a problem with another employee. Everyone treats you with the outmost respect. Real family oriented company with great goals an ambitions. Fast pace work environment, with great high expectations for employees. Company wants you to succeed as much as they want the company succeed. 

C&S is a growing company that invests in their people, equipment, building, and community. They work hard and with intensity to be the best so it's not for everyone, but it's a perfect fit for those that love to be challenged, grow both professionally and personally, seek a family environment, and like to be a part of a winning team. 

I enjoyed the facility on how clean it was. The training was terrible. No one wanted to train. Get only 1 break in a 10 hour day was kind of something I wasn’t used to. The work is extremely easy. I’m a machinist and I’ve never seen anything easier then this.
