I have worked at C2 Group for more than a year now and it has been the fastest growth of my career. I am on the consulting side and I work closely with colleagues from other disciplines. C2’s lines of business span consulting, data analytics, program management, engineering, and field services, so clients get one team from strategy to execution and I get to work with experts from different fields. The work is fast paced and client facing, with clear expectations and real accountability. In return, I get experience, mentorship, and the chance to own meaningful deliverables. C2 Group has been a great place to grow and do meaningful work in the utility and geospatial space. I’ve been involved in both field and office projects, including drone-based inspections, aerial photogrammetry/LiDAR mapping, and data processing for transmission and distribution networks. My work focuses on improving workflows and QA/QC processes for inspection data, GIS alignment, and deliverables that support utility design, planning, and remote inspection platforms. The company values quality, innovation, and teamwork. The work can be technical and fast-paced, but the environment is supportive and forward-thinking, making it a strong place to learn, refine skills, and grow professionally.

Starting my design career at C2 Group has been a strong and positive experience. The interview and onboarding process were clear, welcoming, and well organized, which made the transition easy. The mix of skills and backgrounds across the team creates an environment where collaboration and learning feel natural. What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A lot of pre-planning and a lot of walking.

I love the fast-paced environment, the freedom to openly come up with creative, innovative solutions, and the opportunity to over-achieve one's potential when 
collectively working with teams of like-minded, goal-oriented individuals. 

Not a lot of Hours given the scheduling was a little funky. I wish there was more structured allocated to the team it was a lot of independent work which is great but with that comes no structure
