Typical day at work:

-Disorganized; schedule changes throughout the day
-The smell of fish/daily vitamins comes with the territory

Environment:

-Spiritually unhealthy; broken people; broken/outdated equipment
-People settling for broken promises (miscalculated paychecks, very low/no raises)
-Company advertises 24/5 schedule but are actually 24/7
-Mandatory 6 days ALL year and sometimes 7, not 5
-Good become the downtrodden
-Management extremely dishonest/disrespectful
-Employment targeted toward the underclass or people with a history
-Nationality preferences not uncommon
-Favoritism/Discrimination not uncommon
-Favoritism on who can/can't miss work
-Definite cross-contamination, hygiene, and housekeeping issues
-Penny pinching the PPE
-SOPs not followed
-Logbook/documentation carelessness
-Bring your own tools/PPE, especially non-slip shoes
-Huge turnover; too many bad apples
-Lack of communication and proper training

What is the best part of working at the company?
I was treated good. But when I was let go I only had one warning. And apparently the guy who said I treated him bad was my friends at the time. Never argued with him he always brought me food to the back. And I was accused of tripping him when he had tripped me. But it was all fun and games until he secretly went behind my back and made it seem I was mean to him. Love the place and people. But I was don't wrong

Having to finish all shifts works

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Most people there are nice and easy to talk to.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?

Focus on the company and your individual experience while employed there.

Inexperienced colleagues was promoted to Supervisor and most colleague I knew left including myself. Supervisor is self centered. Director gives no sense of appreciation. No sense of enjoyment allowed such as little brief communication along peers, micromanage, and supervisor acts like boss because catered to director. Cannot get a clear answer when in need of help. Assist manager, supervisor, and director gives out three different opinion to do your task.

Best part of this department is, management only see your wrongs and corrects you for it other than that the amount of work done is meaningless like you were hired to do what you are suppose to do.

Hours constantly changed, shifts were added or taken away depending on the demand being placed on production.  Production forecasting was iffy at best, and overtime was to be expected.  An 8 hour work day was almost non existent.  Hours would constantly change at the last minute.  It was not uncommon at all to be asked at noon, after coming in at 4:00 am, if you could work until 4:00 p.m. or later.  It was not unusual to work a 14 or more hour day.  Among other things was wearing too many hats and being asked to do things that were way above the pay grade.  Lots of confusion on who to report to also occurred frequently.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Best part of working here is not too many pressure and stress I was offered a job as a sanitation technician and I can't complain and every paycheck gives you 3 hrs of time vacation which is pretty cool 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The stressful part is not have enought time to complete the task at the end of the shift but rarely happen 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Environment is good clean facility except sometimes the capsules they make is strong and minty so the face mask is always a must whenever your inside the production area

While working there, the senior director of QC gossips about your personal life to others in the QC department. I had a coworker come to me to vent about learning how the senior director talked about a personal life issue to another coworker which bothered them too. Also, the expectations are unrealistic. Everyone is way behind, a senior chemist left along with five other chemists, and the senior director plays favorites. Especially with questionable promotions. I would never recommend working here in general. The company needs to replace all of the management teams, especially this senior director. BEWARE!

Theres no direction in the maintenance shop, everyone does there own things. New employees are lost because they're no proper training provide, other employees are not willing to train new employees and theres a big language barrier.  Start your day by looking what to do, can't find anything to do? So you walk around the machines to see what you could find to do. Other employees that have been there for years disappear for hours pretending to do something. The leads are so unprofessionals makes you wonder how they got the position.

Typical day here is pretty boring and repetitive, most of time management is on you first shift as we do most of the work compare to the other shifts. Working here is pretty rough most people talk behind your back or are under the influence. Also you work six days a week mandatory overtime and don’t care if you just had  a new born and would still want you to work the next day. There’s benefits but the insurance here is pretty high and for the amount you make here I wouldn’t say it’s worth it

fast paced ;machine running at high speed.

When you are new employee, there are co-workers that are selfish and don't like to teach what they know for fear of others might do better than them.

the area i worked in was the base of the entire lab. if there wasn't any clean tanks or tools and utensils , they couldn't make medicine. some tanks were 4 feet high n 3 feet in diameter , that was on the smaller side . most tanks where about 4 to five 5 up n bout 4to 6 feet around , it would take two guys sometimes to work them . and if they weren't cleaned you had to label them and could get in trouble for cross contamination
