At first it felt like a dream come true. A great opportunity to refine organization skills, time management skills, leadership skills and using spreadsheets. Goals were established and plenty of room given to use your own reasoning to tackle challenges. After a while, management began to micromanage even the way emails should be worded. Despite creating  SOPs, this has not been updated for an unknown time. Process procedures and policies where known by word of mouth. No one would, however, accept accountability for misinforming when things didn't turn out as expected. New workload was left up to the Coordinators to figure out how to complete without sacrificing the already heavy quota. This is done without pay increase or commissions. During calls, several families would complain about background noise. This was very embarrassing for a coordinator specially when the person on the other line would say "I'm sorry you have to go through this". Requests for clear directions (updated SOPs, written instructions) were promised, but hardly ever delivered. 

It’s always a bit challenging when a long travel coincides with a shift change. The adjustment can take a toll both physically and mentally, especially when you’re trying to balance rest, timing, and overall focus. Long journeys often mean early starts or late arrivals, and when paired with changing work hours, it can disrupt your usual rhythm. Planning ahead can make a big difference — things like preparing your schedule in advance, packing essentials, and making sure to get enough rest before the trip. Staying hydrated, stretching when possible, and taking short breaks can help reduce fatigue and make the transition smoother. It’s also important to keep communication open with your team or supervisor, especially if travel delays or exhaustion might impact your shift. Over time, your body and mind will adjust, but giving yourself a little grace and time to adapt can make the entire experience less stressful and more manageable.

I worked for Caring Professionals for 3 years while giving home aid to my father in law. Although I only went into their office on 2 occasions, they were very polite and helpful with any questions and with fighting with insurance companies to get me more hours when we needed them. They were always on time with direct deposit and their app worked very well. The GPS clock in and out never gave me a problem and was much better than faxing my time sheets each week like I was in the beginning. Great experience and great company to work for. 

The owner of the company has developed a culture of decency, caring, and respect for her diverse workforce whlle at the same time growing her company. She leads by example and hires people who are smart, committed, and fair. There are good systems in place and people are approachable for help and support. At the same time, professionalism is respected and cultivated.

Working for Caring Professionals was great, I learned a lot about people and about the job. I learned how to take care for elderly people. Management was good and they took good care of their employees. I worked alone with different patients almost every week.
The hardest part of the job was leaving the patient that I was accustomed with, I always enjoyed working and caring for elderly or disabled people.

Nothing ,everything works good.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Did Hospice care with full support from the company 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Unfortunately I didn’t make time out,  they helped me.

The job doesn't pay enough when for me to be able to pay my bills and still have money to save or spend on myself. The supervisors are allowed time off with pay, but the CDPap employees don't get time off with pay. If a patient ends up sick and in the hospital we lose pay for the time that the patient is in the hospital. This makes it hard for the employee to pay bills and do other necessary things that are needed.

Not a bad company to work for. Management was constantly changing but the work was pretty consistent. Depending on the patient you're assisting is really how your day will really go. Very rewarding being able to assist someone who is in need but with the elderly or just people in general you won't know what personality you're walking into for the day.  So like any day you hope for the best 

There was a lot of travelling involved but it was a rewarding experience getting to spend quality time with my client on a weekly basis. I learned to be more patient and compassionate and to manage my time wisely. The most difficult aspect of this job was the long traveling hours by train. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know my client on a more personal level.

I attend to an elderly woman daily and assist her in tasks such as going to the store, cleaning her apartment, going on walks with her, and providing friendly company. The most difficult part of this job is the travel time, which takes up five hours of the day. But I love this job because I get to spend one-on-one personal time with her and learn about her as a person.
