It’s a great place to work. I believe the pay could be better for the incoming technicians starting off seeing as though inflation is going up more and more each month. Things are more expensive nowadays than they were let’s say a year or two ago. Or at least give technician a nice raise after complete the program to reward them for staying engaged and committed to the program. Nothing grand but a dollar or two would be awesome. The place itself is nice to work at management is very nice and willing to work with you as long as you communicate ahead of time with events and appointments . Some of the techs and one or two nurses are a bit catty and mean girlish, but you get that with any job. There is always a few anywhere you go unfortunately. Some people think work is where you come to make friends instead of doing your job, minding your business and going home in peace. The tech training program is very nice and informative. The education department has some great teachers. The program was amazing and the teachers want to help you pass by any means (study halls, weekly reviews, jeopardy game, etc). I loved it. Clinical’s are great everyone is wanting to teach and help you learn the skills required to become a tech so asking questions is key when you’re unsure. The first four weeks of PCA work is going to discourage you but if you can pull through that month of being everyone’s beck and call toy, then you’ll get to the other side of fun and learning. Plus you’ll know exactly where everything is after PCA H£// month lol.

Amazing education program. Managment is very supportive and encouraging. Fast paced but manageable (hard to find in nursing). The relationships that form with patients are very rewarding. There is a strong team environment. Pay is great and so are the benefits. Can’t say enough about how well this company treats the staff and the patients. Everyone is a priority. It’s a local company, smaller than the national dialysis companies so there are personal touches and your opions matter. Some of the facilities are non-profit and some are for profit. Corporate treats every facility the same as far as staffing, supplies, ect...and patients are accepted even without insurance. You can really see that the company cares so much about people who need dialysis. The doctors are well educated, experienced, and wonderful with the patients and staff.

By far the worst company I have every worked for. HR and management are a joke. HR will absolutely not get back to you for any reason, no matter how serious the problem. Constant call offs and working short. Pay and benefits are subpar, they messed up my pay multiple times and it was a pain trying to get it corrected, took 2+ weeks just for a response. Will not accommodate you if you try to go to school, if you have health issues or family problems. Expect to work almost every Saturday and holiday. Bullying from employees is rampant and therefore turnover is high and management refuses to acknowledge it. Management will treat people with bias and favoritism and it shows. Too many problems to list honestly.

It's a great job but it's a lot of work. The hours are long and you have to make good timing to take breaks or you just won't get one. The learning aspect sucks in my opinion. Classroom knowledge for 2 days and three days working in clinics with just one or two demonstrations of how it is done along with testing that same week. Company can let you go at any given time without notice. Some nurses are good but most sit around and don't help out. Patients have the upper hand on complaints but some are right with complaints not being followed up in a proper manner. Most technicians were not following safety standards and that's the overlooked norm.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They train you to get your state certification with class and tests. If you’re wanting to try something different or change careers this is a good start. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Constantly on the go and on your feet, and def pleasing patients. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends on where you go. There is drama every where. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
5 patients in the 1st shift and 5 patients in the 2nd shift. You have to stick them and make sure the dialysis machine is running properly.

This is a great job for gaining practical and professional competence in water systems, machine care and compliance, and the larger workings of healthcare and regulation. Unfortunately my experience  was tainted by the chaos caused by the company growing faster than the technical team. The excessive amount of on call time was particularly stressful, but management was aware and made efforts to help. If they've worked that out, it's a stable position, with very transferable skills, and the sense of community was very pleasant.

I think working from 4:30am to 6:00pm is outrageous!! If I was a patient there I definitely would not want someone hooking me up to dialysis that has been working 14hours. The management thinks nothing of it. After 8 hours I am done especially at a high stress job like this. There is no teamwork to speak of because everyone is running around trying to get their job done.

Working in dialysis used to be my favorite job. After a few years, i got burned out. Most shifts start very early in the morning between 3-5am, and long days consist of 12-15 hours. I have worked in 4 different clinics, they are all the same, short staffed and over-worked. There is very little time for a life outside of work, and a lot of managers do not take into consideration other things you may have going on in life, such as children, or school. I have met some of my best friends working in dialysis and that is the best thing i have gained from my experience.

Management is poor, but they keep people in positions of power who will literally run a department/employees into the ground. Promises of support never happen and asking for raises is a joke. Over worked and underpaid is their motto it seems. They can’t retain employees due to those two issues alone. Morale is low. Only good thing this place had going was the benefits were great. But not worth the mental toll and stress levels. 

I worked in the technical dept.  This company dumps so much work on technical it's ludicrous. CDC only has 2 maintenance guys for all those clinics.  TC's are expected to do everything yet don't get compensated, on top of that management is the worst. Anyone who is sane leaves, this is the worst place to work. 
TC' are expect to do the work of maint, tech, purchasing and partly management.   Run!!
