Not a good place to work. Whether you are a field employee or a manager, for different reasons I would not recommend.
The work demand is high and the pay is low. Raises are held back so that branches can make their numbers and Managers can get their bonuses. While all companies try to work within a budget, altering paperwork, inventory and numbers just to make budget is not ethical.
Can't keep a full staff to get the required work done. Technicians/Installer are expected to do their job without required parts or tools. Their Dynamic Routing Technology DOES NOT work. The number of customers lost proves that. Field employees are told they must take a lunch until you tell them that is not the law. The company takes and hour of drive time from employees each day even though field employees are working from minute one. They are taking calls and checking their phones to find out where they have to go. Some of those calls are the micro-managing calls asking why you haven't clocked in. 
New C-Suite came in making multiple mistakes and caused the company to take steps backwards. Upper Management is made up of a network of who you know, not experienced individuals. All they care about is the bottom line and look where it got them.....in a class action lawsuit for trying to scam customers with charging Administrative fees. They do care about safety, however the micro-managing there is just cause for low morale. But don't get hurt or sick. They are quick to let employees go and quicker to bring back injured employees before they are ready to return. Again, it's all about the numbers here too.
There is no loyalty to long-term Managers and the idea that not replacing Managers locally leaves branch employees to struggle with no local resources and no support. Some locations have no Admin, Branch, or Service/Collection/Install Managers. How can a company run like that? It can't.
Employees are called “Team Members” here. What a facade. There is no team environment. They made an effort to re-brand the CSC image and it looks good from the outside. What's that saying? You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig”? Good Luck to anyone looking to be employed here and more luck will be needed to any company looking to buy them.

A good manager is hard to come by around here.  The General Operations Manager is a man full of empty promises.  Whether it be a promise to be paid a fair wage or be moved to a position that may or may not even exist or a promise to supply his teams with the necessary equipment and support required to get a job done, we have yet to see any follow through.  Maybe a better suited profession for him would be a preacher or a car salesman.  
The person in charge of the Parts Department drops inventory onto technicians without telling them.  When someone notices, they are told to write off said parts.  Then it comes time for inventory.  And what do you know?  There is a discrepancy.  Too bad you are not allowed to explain the discrepancy while you are working.  You can only tell your side of the story while you are standing in the unemployment line.
The girl out of Tampa who handles loss prevention hates men. In a company that has mostly men in the field, this poses a problem. Her goal is not to protect company assets but to bust as many male employees as she can.
One of the managers here in Orlando who left & came back for some odd reason does nothing but micromanage his employees just like the General Ops Mgr.  He is asking employees to turn each other in and is only concerned about himself. He and other Managers are using scare tactics to force employees to go out and work during a national pandemic. Using statements like “there are plenty of people out there who need a job if you don’t want yours”.
Speaking of pandemics, being in the laundry industry, our services are considered “essential” in this time of the COVID-19 crisis. While we are supposed to be helping in this time of need, technicians, collectors and installers are going to properties ill equipped to fight this virus. We have no PPE but are still told to work. 
Upper Management boasts about our business being essential (while they work safely from home), but have no idea they are putting their employees and others at risk. At least I hope they don’t know because if they do, we are in a dire situation here. Middle management does
nothing to report or support employee’s needs. First line managers have no answers.  Stay tuned.

I started out really enjoying this job because I worked alone and I had the responsibility of planning my day out with very little supervision from my managers. Since I have been with the company, though, I have seen them start to implement very nit picky things and the company is requiring management to watch its "trusted employees" like hawks. I have also noticed that my work days are getting longer and longer. I'm scheduled to work four 10-hour shifts, but I have been required to work way more (0600-1900, which is all of my day). It has also been very difficult to take my "required" lunches and we aren't provided our paid breaks (which is a law in CO). I'm not the only one dealing with this as coworkers have also told me that they work through their lunches (while clocked out) to get their pickups done before the suggested time period. Not to mention the newer employees are being paid more than a tenured employee. Other things that have been frustrating is that come winter time, they are avid about employees working in very unsafe weather situations. Every month I hear that "safety is the number one priority." Although I do appreciate their concerns, the company highly HIGHLY suggests (borderline requires) that you work in unsafe driving conditions or you must turn in PTO rather than making it up another day. 

This review isn't to bash on the company. I understand that it is a corporate company and that rules, regulations and procedures must be followed, but I suggest that the company listens to its managers AND employees. There are good days at CSC and most of the local management that I've had the privilege working with have rocked (not to mention most of the employees have been with the company for years and years), but this is my transparent review. I would suggest this job for anyone that is single and willing to work longs days. There's always overtime available when requested. 

Great pay, awesome coworkers, initial training is top notch, instant benefits and vacations, Coinmach side of things great, two years working for company with no complaints whatsoever. Straight 40 hours, salaried drivers, everything paid for. Company vehicle, and many managers great, the ones who weren't were at least friendly. That said, since merging with several other companies things took a down turn. First was the merger with Air Serv which resulted in a bunch of people asking such questions as why it takes longer to collect a laundry location over an air machine location (I've had 54 machine locations in laundry, most at any one air location was 4). Then we merged with Mac Grey. After a transfer I ended up being a Coinmach employee working for a Mac Grey branch. Coinmach at one time cared about the quality of their work, but these Mac Grey people didn't. Poor documentation, worse dedication to their customers. Multiple times managers would make promises to meet with customers directly and then would cancel and not inform the customer resulting in us entry level guys getting yelled at. Not to mention that because the two companies were in the same industry but did things differently resulted in a ton of problems adapting. There was also this certain level of performance Mac Grey demanded that wasn't accounting for this difference in policy which was never amended properly. For example, yes it is possible to open a bunch of laundry machines all using the same key but at times I had over 20 keys on me because Coinmach locations would use that many. Just the whole entire operation was weird. I did my best, I worked my fingers to the bone, day and night, rain or sun, sometimes many unpaid hours of overtime that I would be further punished for if my manager ever found out I worked them, but none of it matter. In the end I was fired.

I have worked for Coinmach Service Corp. for nearly 10 years and can honestly say I look forward to working for this company for many years to come.  If your willing to work hard and dedicate yourself to your job responsibilities, CSC can be an awesome rewarding place to work.  I receive sufficient support from my supervisor and feel that each person I have worked for within the organization has shown a desire to grow as a leader and the desire to create future leaders for a growing company.  My workload certainly varies but for the most part the extra hours I put in from time to time do not interfere with my active lifestyle.  There is a strong sense of family within the entire company and an unusually large # of team members have been here for more than 10 years.  I have certainly felt from day 1 that I have job security with CSC since I have seen the company go to great lengths to preserve every single job even when the economy took a dive.  I won't get into specifics about what I do for CSC but it is safe to say I started in an entry-level position many years ago and through hard work, dedication, and the company's ambitious nature, I have worked my way into a # of positions that I only dreamed of having.  Every supervisor I have worked for over the years at CSC played a role in getting me to where I am today and I can proudly say I am close friends with each person I have worked with over the years.  I would recommend CSC and any CSC brand as great places to work without a doubt.

I worked with CSC since 2016. After a year of dedicated and hard work, I was promoted to Collections Coordinator (supervisor position). After certain events i ended up transferring out of state.  When i arrived at the Houston Facility, I can tell the atmosphere was completely different. Unfortunately my position was not available. I was transferred to a different department and had to start from the bottom again. My pay transferred with me and the new manager did not like that. in his words "i was overpaid for this job im doing now".   This is the biggest laundry company in the US yet each branch operates differently. I was not welcomed with open arms at the new branch. Due to my cultural background i was treated differently. I can tell off the back they did not want me there. I was harassed and basically after a year of drama they finally kept writing me up for every little thing. I was basically fired and all my hard work just went to waste due to racism issues. I do not recommend this company. I filed a few complaints, but nothing was done about them. It seems as upper management takes care of their own. The department manager was a joke, him and his buddies will gather in his office and talk bad of everyone at the workplace. These were mostly a group of older gentlemen who have been with the company 15+ years. So it seemed as they felt they ran the place, and clearly they had a system in place to flush out the people they did not want working with them. Or saw as a potential threat.  

They only care about next quarter's profits.  What does this mean for you?  They don't care about long term benefits of treating you or their customers with respect.  Do not work here if you have any morals at all.  They don't care if you are still working there 2 years from now, they'd rather make a dime now than a dollar tomorrow.   Don't expect any meaningful raises.    

You'll be required to take a lunch on days you're working in the warehouse, except on days when you're working with someone who isn't.  You can't realistically make these demands as the new guy.  

They say their company values are honesty and respect.  You'll eventually be expected to repair machines, but they can't even be honest in their job description because then you might be offered a better job outside the company.  Don't expect to be promoted from within, HR would rather use a recruiting service to hire someone from outside that's more qualified.  It doesn't matter how hard you work, nobody cares within this monopoly.  They're so dishonest they change their name every 5 years to try and deceive customers that they've wronged in the past.

Management is good on a personal level, you'll feel appreciated for what you do.  Just don't expect this to actually benefit you in any way.  

Pros: Management doesn't care how hard you work (because they don't care about their customers). So if you're really lazy this is the job for you.   

Cons:  Management doesn't care how hard you work, so it's hard to get promoted.

often out in the field you are alone in your company vehicle and rarely have to communicate with home office. Too often with the turnover in the office there were fewer people to assist with questions. Angry customers turn problems with office staff on you as the field service tech and you have to deal with the situation yourself with little help from front office. Being an "out of town tech" as some of us are referred to, its harder to get parts/tools needed to work efficiently. It can be done, just more work and begging sometimes. Turnover at the office lost some great assets and the remaining people, although friendly, sometimes cannot be counted on to get the information you need due to higher work loads with reduced staff. i enjoy the freedom the job offered, but you feel stuck in your position, and often repeating the same things week in and week out. Pay is decent, above minimum wage for sure, but feel it could be better. Raises come in tiny amounts each year. PTO time is quickly built however, but must be approved. Holiday pay good, overall give them a 3-4 star out of 5

The management is a couple of overworked and nice people, the fellow employees are mostly nice. The job is to drive a 16 foot box truck around the city and pick up, or drop off washers and dryers. Inside the truck the work is mostly flexible, the problem is actually getting the washers and dryers into and out of customer's houses. Make sure you use a ratcheting dolly, they tried to get people to use velcro straps and they break loose, causing the loads to shift and great strain on your back. Washers and dryers are often in people's basements with turns too sharp to navigate with a dolly. I have had to carry a dryer up stairs by hand, just try to picture that. Some of the older washers that need to be removed are extra heavy, about 150 lbs, and often have a good deal of old water still in them making them even harder to move and much heavier. Washers and dryers have to be pulled up to three flights of stairs daily, and are often very hard to fit. As of right now, there are many angry customers have been waiting for a long time and will let you know that. They do not have competitive pay  for the work being done at this time.

Typical day at work was to arrive at the work sites before the extreme heat would slow down the work by mid day.  The service vehicles are disorganized and left with dust and trash by the previous technician.

The facilities being maintained do not match the photos on the employers website.  The majority of the sites are multifamily housing slums with equipment which was only partially repaired by the previous technician.  The customers do not understand the operation of the laundry equipment  and are difficult to contact.

The inventory is often incorrect and the electronic parts may be used and fail earlier.  The work is done in a rush in uncomfortable spaces without ventilation.  Coworkers skip the already short lunch period from pressure to maintain the inefficient schedule.

Management will ignore messages about parts or field service problems and they will watch new staff struggle with the same problems.
